"Loon View Lodge LLC" is a beautiful, non-smoking, fully-finished chalet located on a quiet private dead-end drive, 1/8 mile off the popular Northwoods Beach strip. Grab your coffee in the morning, and take the kids for a nature walk down the heavily wooded private road while you talk about your plans for the day on the lake. You'll feel like your in the middle of the woods, yet everything you need is close by: Gas is now also available on the lake just a few minutes down the shore. Gas, groceries, fish licenses, boat/pontoon rental, and boat supplies/repair are 1/2 mile away. (Plus more dealers and rental shops 10 miles away with Jet Ski/pontoon/boat/water trampoline/snowmobile rental and repair). Enjoy plenty of restaurants, resorts, amenities less than a mile or two away by boat/walk/bike/car. LCO Casino and Hotel is 5 miles away and has national acts/entertainment. Like live music? The all new beautiful Trails End Resort is only a couple minutes down the shore, and offers live music, food, drinks, gas on the lake, and a sandy beach with playground. Or take a ten minute drive to downtown Hayward for shopping, museums, mini golf, go carts, wineries and more. Enjoy 4 premier Golf Courses -most less than 10 minutes away, tons of restaurants and resorts nearby, and miles of ATV & Snowmobile trails surrounding. Snowmobile trail #3 is on the lake in front of the home, you will have access to Sawyer County's 600 miles of groomed trails. Arguably the best lake in Hayward for pan fishing, musky fishing, water skiing, jet skiing, pontooning, sailing, music, and more. This lake is big, but is very quiet.

EXTERIOR OF HOME: Enjoy the sunset while sitting around the huge fire pit overlooking the lake (plenty of lawn chairs provided and a limited amount of complimentary firewood is included). Take the winding steps down medium elevation to the lake and the private 'L' dock with 100' of private frontage. Seasonal neighbors on both sides are friendly and have large oversize lots with plenty of mature trees, so there is plenty of privacy. The driveway is fully paved and is large enough for 4 trucks and trailers, or about 8 cars. The whole family will enjoy the level paved Basketball court, while they watch the children play in the sandbox. The landscaping is well maintained with an automatic sprinkler system. A complimentary lift for your pontoon, boat, or PWC is available at no extra charge; inquire with owner. Lac Courte Oreilles is a large lake and can have 3 foot waves during storms; so this is an important amenity since it makes the difference between having to take your boat out, or having major damage to your boat or dock. NEW We now have an automatic back-up generator! Although rare, being in the northwoods with lots of trees it seems like there is at least one storm a year that will blow a tree on a power line, or a winter ice storm that breaks a power line. In the event there is a power outage you may not even know it since the generator will automatically restore power so you will have water, refrigerator, lights, microwave, furnace, TV, etc. Keep in mind all these comforts won't work if the power goes out... We know how important your vacation is and have taken the extra step/investment to make sure you are comfortable and worry free no matter what the weather!

INTERIOR OF HOME: The Interior is immaculate and tastefully decorated with a northwoods cabin feel. Knotty pine ceilings and walls throughout, and hardwood floors in great room, dining, and kitchen. The home has central air conditioning, and two gas fireplaces with log mantles, one on main floor and one in basement. There are 7 flat panel TV's 26"-55" with cable throughout the home in living rooms and bedrooms, along with a movie library and DVD players All TV's are smart TV's. There is a central multi-room stereo system that can play your ipod music. Free WI-FI Charter high speed internet. The kitchen is fully stocked with all utensils and cookware (2 coffee makers plus a Keurig, crock pot, pizza oven, griddle, waffle maker, mixer, popcorn popper, toaster, blender, etc). We have a beautiful custom made large dining table with seating for 8, plus seating for 5 at the island, and a child's high chair too. The well water is clear and tastes great. For outdoor cooking we have a large high quality stainless gas grill plus a Weber charcoal grill. All bed, bath, and kitchen linens are included -you will need to bring your own beach towels. Attached oversize weatherproof 3 season porch with lake view. The deck has 2 dining tables and chairs. Ceramic tile in all three full bathrooms (one on each level). Adults can enjoy peace and quiet on the main level, while kids can enjoy the fully finished walkout basement with air hockey, foosball, movies and 2 cool log bunk bed sets.

BEDROOM/BATHROOM LAYOUT: Sleeps 10-15. Master Suite in loft overlooking lake has king log bed, Main Level bedroom 1 has queen log bed, Main Level bedroom 2 has queen pine bed, Kids bedroom in walkout basement has 2 log bunk sets totaling one full and 3 twins beds. For additional guests we have a full sofa sleeper and a rollaway bed available in oversize basement rec room. We have a pack and play for your toddler too. All mattresses are high quality and comfortable (even the bunk beds). There are three full bathrooms, one on each level, the main level bath tub also has safety bars for older guests.

THE LAKE: Lac Courte Oreilles is over 8 miles long and at over 5000 acres is the largest natural lake in the county and is well known for excellent fishing, sailing, exploring and water sports. Lac Courte Oreilles is also connected to Grindstone Lake which is over 3000 acres, and makes for a great day trip with light shallow hull boat or pontoon. The bottom gently tapers from nothing at shore, to 3 feet deep at the swimming area at the end of the new 30 foot 'L' shaped dock with large sitting area. From there it continues to gently taper out to about ten feet deep, and stays level for approximately 40 yards. This water is absolutely crystal clear ALL year long -drop a dime off the end of the dock and you can still see it!

You will be hard pressed to find a finer vacation home in the area, and the location is perfect for all types of entertainment on water and off. This place has it all, too much to mention. Our reviews speak for themselves!
