Everything was super clean, loved all the adorable decor.Steps away from the beach! Pool was great as wellReally appreciated how all the amenities were in the hotel room. Location is perfect! Only negative I would say is that one of the bedrooms does not have any type of Dresser or closet or really any area to put your clothes away, other than that the other two bedrooms had plenty of dresser, space and hangers. We will definitely stay again!! Thanks!!

One of the best properties we have stayed at. We loved the vibe, great location, extremely clean. We also really appreciated not having to pack coolers or beach chairs. We are already planning to book for next year!

Gorgeous place. Only one thing.... make sure they understand that if you have a problem, it needs to be taken care of right away. Other than having too many people to call, very nice place. I would definitely recommend it to friends.

Tour host was awesome and quick to respond to any question we had! This location can’t be beat if you’re traveling with a family or just looking for a beautiful spot that steps out to the beach. Large pool was a bonus!

Mello almost yellow

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We overall had a fine stay at the Mello. It was a cute place, right by the beach, and walking distance to some restaurants and shops. It was clean, the property was clean and the pool was relaxing and well managed. I am giving it 4 starts for a few reasons. The couch was the most uncomfortable thing I have ever sat on. It goes with the vibe of the place but so uncomfortable. 2nd...the chairs provided for the beach are in fact lawn chairs from the 80's. Again went with the vibe of the Mello, but if you are a beach person this chair belongs in the back yard. Please get proper beach chairs. We ended up just laying on towels. We didn't have space to buy chairs and bring them back or we would have. I will also say this is right by a "busy" public beach access. If you want less people and more private this is not your place. We were there during "off" season, so I can only imagine what this would be like if it were a busy week. We loved AMI, and will definitely be back.

The unit was very clean, well appointed, beds super comfortable with TV’s in each bedroom. So close to the beach, trolley, restaurants, etc. Wonderful experience!!!

Amazing Condo on the Beach!

We had an amazing stay at Mello! Three girlfriends and I enjoyed a long weekend at this condo and were completely blown away by the charm and amenities Mello offered. The condo was exactly as the pictures showed - maybe even better. The cute decor was consistent throughout the property and it was equipped with everything we needed. Would definitely recommend this property to anyone!

Cozy, Family-Friendly Stay Steps from the Beach

Reviewer Comments: Overall, we had a great stay and would recommend this property, especially for families looking for a comfortable place close to the beach.The property itself is small and cozy, which was exactly what we wanted. Our 3-bedroom, 2-bath unit had plenty of space for our family and was very nicely equipped. It truly had everything you would need for an extended stay. Parking was readily available, and we were provided with a parking pass, which made things easy.The location is probably one of the biggest highlights. You’re just steps from the beach and very close to Publix and other conveniences. Manatee Beach was **LIT** during our stay — it honestly looked like Cancun on spring break in the early 2000s with the sheer number of people out there! 😂 We had a great time.A couple of things could be improved. The property management experience felt very impersonal. All communication was by email, and we never saw or interacted with any staff during our stay other than the cleaning crew. We were traveling with **five girls under the age of 9**, so getting everyone packed and out by the 10:00 a.m. checkout time was a production. At 10:04, a cleaner knocked on our door, told us, “Checkout is at 10,” and walked away. There was no greeting, no “How was your stay?” or even a friendly acknowledgment. We understood that we were a few minutes past checkout, but the interaction could have been handled with a little more hospitality.Also, be prepared for the mosquitoes — they were **relentless**. Definitely bring bug spray!Those issues aside, the actual accommodations, location, parking, and proximity to the beach made this a great experience for our family. We would stay in the area again and really enjoyed having a spacious, well-equipped home base so close to everything.

They provide beach chairs, beach towels, coffee pods, creamer, bath toiletries and lots of glassware. It was a perfect girls weekend for the six of us. We had breakfast next door at the beach concession and drinks. Will stay again. Highly recommend. Small so you may even have the pool to yourselves.

Nice to have everything you needed for a beach stay. Loved the outdoor family area and pool. We are very familiar with the area and we knew that part of the beach would be very crowded. Staying in the lower floor unit was great (with two young grandchildren) but the noise from upstairs neighbors walking was louder than we expected.

Top-end appliances and fixtures (Hello Hansgrohe!), very clean, comfortable beds and set up! Three main points:1. The location is PRIME. Right off one of the most desirable beaches on the island!2. There are NO spices, staples or anything in the house - but the Publix is a short WALK away.3. There are no smart TV or streaming devices in the house, but wifi is great!

Two Week Stay - Would stay Again

We had a wonderful two-week stay and will stay again when possible. The unit was spotless and stocked with everything we needed, including kitchen essentials, beach towels, chairs, an umbrella, and a cooler. The retro décor gave it great charm, and the property felt welcoming throughout. While we didn’t personally use the grills, others did, and they were high-quality and well-maintained. The daily staff and property manager were very friendly and responsive.An area for improvement is the landscaping. Our parking spot was at the end of the lot up against overgrown weeds with sand spurs, which made getting in and out of the car tricky. Staff promptly addressed what they could of the issue, but it extended across the grounds, with visible weeds all around the property, dead palm fronds falling on the pool deck, and foliage dropping into the water, and poor pool circulation making pool cleanliness a challenge. Overhanging trees and bushes also encroached on walkways. The interior was so thoughtfully maintained that the outdoor spaces felt out of sync by comparison. Location was wonderful, very close to the beach. Walking distance to AMI Cafe and Skinny's can't be beat.
