All apartments are particularly centrally located but still quiet between the main station u. Königsplatz on the 3rd floor m. Lift. Due to the good transport connections U- and S-Bahn connection at the main station, U-Bahn at Königsplatz, streetcar corner Dachauer-/Karlstraße as well as the central yet quiet location in the Munich city, it is the ideal starting point to explore the whole city on foot. Great Location

Location is fantastic for day trips from Munich. Short walk to train station. Secure location and felt at home. Would stay again.

Good location, not the flat in pictures, unresponsive host.

First and foremost, NOT THE PROPERTY IN THE PHOTOS ON THE LISTING I BOOKED. Of you thumb through them you will eventually see the poorer quality flat as ended up with. Very shady listing practices. Not surprising for this host we came to find out. The location was good, bed was acceptably comfortably. The kitchen had bare necessities to scrape a meal together. That was the good. Now for the bad and why I would steer you away from this property. The host was absolutely not responsive. Only two poor quality towels for a 8 day stay. The towels are what I’d think prison towels are like. Curtains broke on day 2. Dryer didn’t work the entire stay with the exception of one load of laundry. Repeated asks to fix the dryer or get us more towels. Zero response. The owner is lazy, cheap and unresponsive. Worst part is I tried to go via VRBO and their out of country call center people are incompetent as well. No help from anyone. Guests have no recourse and hosts have no an accountability. It’s a joke. This host is a joke. For the price of this flat get a hotel.

Nice property, poor communication

The apartment is clean, comfortable, and supplied with the very basic of items (one kitchen towel, no paper towels no sponge). The washer and dryer are not in the apartment, but located just outside the apartment in a secure area. The location is good, walking distance to the majority of historic downtown sites. We would’ve given a higher rating had it not been for two issues. The biggest issue is the difficulty of opening the door to the apartment C. We clearly understood the directions provided by the owner to open the door, but struggled each time due to the difficulty of turning the small metal door knob, much smaller and more difficult to turn in any standard knob we have encountered. It looked as though the white "cap" for the mechanism was missing. The second issue we had was the slow response from the owner each time we communicated through VRBO, to the point we had to contact VRBO directly.

Very close to sights and summer concert venue

For the one we stayed at - located in a building with doctors offices - It's a good apartment located close to museums, the train station, and bus stop. It was easy to get to anything we wanted to see. Our first night we also discovered it was near an outdoor summer concert venue and all the Motley Crue/heavy metal fans were in full force! The sound from the fans and concert travelled and it was a late night of festivities, so it wasn't the best rest the first night, but was quieter the rest of our stay. It was a good place to stay for a first visit to Munich.

Lovely, bright, clean and spacious apartment in the perfect location.

This is a beautiful apartment. Perfectly appointed with everything we needed. It is spotless, spacious and bright with large windows and tons of natural light. Our only frustration was the lock to the apartment… once we entered to code, the knob was difficult to open. Each time we had to try many times.

Frightening management with strange video surveillance.

I originally booked this property for myself and another couple who were attending Oktoberfest. Later my son, his wife and another couple asked to join us. I asked the owner if he had another unit available. He did not. So I ended up booking additional rooms at the Ruby Lily 2 blocks away. On the first night, I accompanied my son to this property and then left to my hotel. Apparently the owner has a camera trained on the entrance of the unit and it only sees people enter and not leave. So he accused me of spending the night in this unit. I explained to him that we were staying at the other hotel and that we would be coming and going as we prepared to attend Oktoberfest. The following day we returned with our Lederhosen and dirndls to get ready with our family. We stayed a short time and then left. After this I received another nasty text threatening to change the codes for entry etc., reminding me that he had video footage of us entering the unit. This really ruined our time in Munich to say the least. His menacing texts about changing the code so we couldn't get in were frightening. Two weeks later and he is still sending menacing emails. In addition, the pull out couch needs a new mattress and was dirty with hair on the sheets.

Everything in a great location

We spent 30 days exploring Munich at a relaxed pace. Wherever we needed to go, it was made easy by the numerous Ubahn, tram, and bus lines. The apartment is fully equipped and ready to go.

Prime location in Munich

The location was perfect! On a quiet, residential street, a 10-minute walk from the main train station, and a 20-minute walk from the old town. The apartment is clean and spacious. My only complaint is that the pillows are weirdly large and very thin and the duvet cover doesn't hold the blanket in very well. I would suggest upgrading the linens. Felicia, the owner, was helpful.

Apartment is near the main train center in Munich. We were able to get around very easily. Apartment was a great size for me and my husband. I would stay again!

Best place to stay in Munich

This is our 3rd stay with this owner, he has several apartments in a building a convenient walk from train station & Altstadt. The apartment is simple & clean and has everything you need for a pleasant stay. The beds are comfy, hot water plentiful, and this is one of the few places that has both opening windows as well as AC in the bedroom.

Great place

When we arrived at the property we had to call a phone number. Then Gunther came with the keys in about 15 minutes. The place is very spacious, clean, and bright. The building is in a safe area and I felt that the apartments also felt safe. The only thing that I would recommend is room darkening drapes because by 6 AM the sun was already brightening the bedroom. The apartment was very quiet and a big plus was the washing machine and dryer in the hallway. I would definitely stay here again and I would recommend it to friends and family.

Comfortable stay in roomy apt in a great location!

In general, we were very pleased with our stay, primarily for its roominess, cleanliness and great location. Detracting from a perfect score is the lack of consumables, shared laundry facilities and information on the area. These were minor issues that we were able to live with. I would definitely rent here again.

Fantastic apartment in ideal location

My husband, our 16 year old daughter and I stayed in this lovely apartment in the heart of Munich. The location was ideal -- it was steps from a U-Bahn station and from the main train station. It was just above a grocery store which was perfectly adequate for our needs. The apartment was lovely, immaculately clean, and secure. The kitchen was more fulsome than many vacation apartments and there was a shared washer and dryer. The check-in was seamless and all communications with the owners were quick and friendly. From the art on the walls to a little dishwasher to a huge bathroom with two sinks, this apartment is really a cut above for its price. We would stay here again in a minute! It was fabulous and I cannot recommend it highly enough.

Munich perfect location

The owner of the apartment reached out to us in advance of our arrival to make sure of our check-in timint. We were welcomed by a friend of the owner, a nice man named Gunther, who showed us around the apartment. This comfortable apartment was in the perfect central location for us -- 15 minute walking distance from the main train station and the excellent art museum quadrant, and only 25-30 minutes walking distance from the opera house, Marienplatz and the English Garden. The apartment had everything we needed. The only negative aspects were: 1) the dancing school in the building, which played annoying music on the last night of our stay until about 22H, and 2) the position and aim of the shower head was impossible to control, so the water sprayed onto the folding glass panels and leaked onto the bathroom floor. Otherwise, this apartment was perfect.

Great property with great location!

1) The property was spacious, clean, and had an easy check-in process. We easily slept 3 people at this property. The living room had a door so that the guest staying on the pull out couch felt like they had their own space. The bathroom was also large enough for 3 people to easily get ready at the same time. 2) The property was perfectly located to public transportation. We were steps from both the Konigspltaz and Munchen Hbf stations for easy travel throughout the city. It is also a short walk from the Marienplatz and lots of great shopping and dining. My friends and I stopped by Oktoberfest while in Munich and staying at this property made it easy to get too and from the fair grounds without any issues.

Home away from home

Fantastic apartment in a very central area. A short walk and you are in the Old Town and the railway station very close too. The apartment was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. A huge plus is the supermarket downstairs so no lugging groceries long distances and easy to nip down for emergency supplies. Great to have easy to use laundry facilities just outside the door ( shared with another apartment ). Couldn't get the tv to work but didn't matter as we probably couldn't have understood it anyway !! Wifi was great. Only suggestion is that it would be great to have a little salt and pepper as carrying this from place to place is not an option for us. Strongly recommend this as a great place to stay while you are in Munich.

Gute Lage,sonst auch nichts!

Leider wurde hier nicht darüber informiert, dass aufgrund der Arztpraxen eine Etage höher im Wohnbereich ständig der Türöffner zu hören ist,auch der Aufzug macht einigen Lärm. Wer sich viel in der Wohnung aufhält, kann einen entspannten Tag vergessen. Auch war die Heizung im Schlafzimmer eiskalt, weshalb wir im Wohnbereich geschlafen haben.

Spacious, modern and centrally located apartment

We were in this property for over a month and found it to be a great, easy apartment that definitely epitomized the "home away" experience. The bedroom and living areas were large and roomy. Kitchen was easy to prep meals and cook. Pots and cooking utensils were adequate for cooking basic meals. The apartment was clean and well maintained with cleaning appliances that were easy to break out and use (ie. vacuum, broom) Laundry and dryer were right outside of the apartment which was convenient. The apartment was also centrally located with a supermarket right next door, cafes and restaurants nearby. As well as the main central station about 7-10 min away. The only issue we occasionally ran into was that the WiFi was a bit spotty and fritzed out a few times. Also for us, the dance studio downstairs did hold a few dance parties that ran late. One of the parties didn't end until 2 am on a Sunday. We just put on some white noise to help alleviate the party noise. Also just as a note. If you recycle, the building doesn't offer glass recycling, but there are large bins that are around town that you can process your glass bottles and plastics that the supermarket doesn't take. There was one on Elisenstrasse and Lamerstrasse (or around that area). Werner was responsive and tended to our questions and any concerns we had in a prompt manner. Great place to stay for our first trip to Germany!

Alloggio centralissimo, molto comodo e pulito

L'appartamento è spazioso e pulito, senza fronzoli. C'è tutto l'essenziale, nulla di più, per cui conviene arrivare provvisti di ciò che occorre per l'igiene personale e per la cucina (io non ho trovato scorte, né carta da cucina, né spugnette nuove per i piatti) anche se, proprio sotto casa, c'è un supermercato fornitissimo aperto dalle 7 alle 20 dal lunedì al sabato. Fornito del necessario per la pulizia degli ambienti, una salvietta da cucina, asciugamani di colore diverso per ogni ospite (comodo), con diversi ganci per appenderli. Niente bidet ma, si sa, all'estero è quasi sempre così. U-Bahn a pochissimi metri (Königsplatz), una fermata e si è alla stazione centrale, comodamente raggiungibile anche a piedi. Tutta la città raggiungibile in pochi minuti, grazie all'efficientissima rete metropolitana, sempre con pochissimi minuti d'attesa. Ben riscaldato. Numerosi ristoranti in zona. Il proprietario, che non abbiamo incontrato personalmente ma che ci ha mandato una cortese signora a riceverci, è stato gentilissimo e molto disponibile. Nessun problema per il pagamento, persona molto affidabile. Consigliato senz'altro. Danke Werner, gerne wieder!

Schöne Wohnung, Zentrale Lage.

schöne, moderne Wohnung, viel Platz. Alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Wie beschrieben. Super Lage, 2Min. zur UBahn, 10Min. zum Bahnhof. Gute Restaurant in der Nähe, so dass man am Abend nicht mehr in die Stadt muss. Haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und werden die Wohnung sicher weiter empfehlen und bei einem weiteren Besuch wieder buchen.
