Boasting sweeping views of Fausetts Lake, this four-bedroom beauty offers central access to the best of Georgia's Blue Ridge Mountains. You'll be within easy reach of great local farms, wineries, epic waterfall heights, and vibrant mountain towns while feeling worlds away at this restful retreat.

This one-of-a-kind home comes fully designed and built to please. Enjoy morning sunrise through massive picture windows in the den and cozy up by the roaring fire through the chilly seasons. Spend summers outdoors with drinks and picnics on the deck or fishing from the private dock . Gather around the firepit for s'mores and watch the sunset over the lake. The full kitchen comes appointed for with a deluxe suite of stainless steel appliances for gourmet family meal planning and the dishwasher makes for easy cleanup. Dine together at the gorgeous wood-hewn table set for 10. In-home entertainment options include a smart TV in the den and a downstairs game room equipped with a pool table, games, and a second living area with a smart TV.

Other home essentials include free WiFi and a private washer and dryer.

THINGS TO KNOW
Boat usage/moorage is not permitted. Catch-and-release fishing only from dock.
Guests are not permitted in the water.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 3 vehicles.



Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The home was cozy, well maintained, and had everything we needed. Communication was smooth and the place felt welcoming. Overall, a great experience.

Trip to Iron Mountain

Better than home! Beautiful lake, no neighbors, 15 mins to everything, love guests being on 3 different levels (privacy), and they do have black bears and deer on the property.

Cabin on the lake

We loved the house and the location! We will book it again when we are in the area. The kids loved to fish off the dock and play pool in the basement. There was plenty of room for everyone.

Gorgeous Cabin with Million Dollar Lake View

My sisters and their spouses stayed at the lovely cabin for a long family reunion weekend. The space was sophisticated and well appointed with comfortable beds and furniture. Terrific kitchen and unbeatable location. This listing does misspell the name of the street address, so make sure you've got that factored in when you plug in your gps. We loved this gorgeous cabin!

Great for Our Family Vacation

This spacious home is on a private lake. We had the best time at the home and at nearby Amicalola Falls. Two things need addressing: The back door is not operable, but needs to be for convenience and safety; also we found the oven to take a LONG time to heat up and cook; The home is just over an hour from home, but feels like you are “away from it all” because of its privacy. We hope to come back again.

Great House stayed the week of September 16th 2024

This house is amazing. We spent a week here and the home was amazing. Had a little issue are 1st day there Saturday and was resolved by Sunday. Customer service was quick to respond to text and had someone come out on Sunday to fix problem. Amazing job Vacasa. Kitchen is well stock, home is nicely decorated. WIFI can be flakey but you are in the mountains :) Would rent cabin again.

10/10 experience!! The cabin was just like the photos and even more breathtaking. It had every single little detail and everything was beautiful. The cabin is very impressive and extremely huge. It gives out amazing positive vibes and definitely allows your mind to relax. The surroundings, and the cabin itself is very peaceful. Thank you for this experience!. Sencillamente espectacular.

Never again

Unfortunately i will never stay here again because I got a email saying no kayaks on the lake. It really is a shame because it was the best vacation we have had.

Thank you for your review, Robert. The lake is privately owned. There is no swimming, kayaks, boats, paddle-boards, etc. Only fishing off the dock is allowed. This information can be found in your email notifications. We are sorry for the inconvenience and hope we can host you again.

The physical home was beautiful. There were gnats in the kitchen and eating area which became annoying. Fishing off the doc was great when we finally received the poles indicated in the listing. Those took a day to receive. The host was impossible to reach which was also frustrating. It took us 10 hours of calls and texts for Vacasa to reach out to me. We didn’t have clean linens and there was no firewood for the fire pit which we were lead to believe by the listing photos and verbiage. I had 2 very disappointed small children. Again, the actual home was great for us but the details from the host were a huge letdown and for the price, we were disappointed.

Disappointing

Pictures were deceiving. Luzury peooerty, beautiful view, but poorly maintained and terrible management. Upon arrival, every potted plant and landscaping was dead. Discovered broken towel rod, broken grill, broken dishwasher, and mice droppings in silverware tray. Unresponsive management team.

Beautiful Cabin but needs improvements

A very spacious cabin for a big family, big lake with a beautiful view. However, our main reason of this vacation was to have Christmas eve and Christmas day together and make dinner. We couldn’t even cook because we run out of gas. When we notify Vacasa they answered us the next day. Imagine to be 10 people and a baby without food on Christmas eve and Christmas day. The wifi is terrible, not fit for this big house or for the quantity of people staying. We couldn’t watch a movie without the movie stoping more than 10 times. The dishwasher was broken when we arrive even that I called the week before to make sure that was fix after reading a review stating the dishwasher didn’t work. Vacasa told me that was fix already and that was not true.

Very large cabin with a few problems

The lake was great the cabin was very spaious 3 floors we had 3 people it was plenty big The long was very hard to open we had a code but no instruction it took about 20 times to get to work very scary in a secluded area. The fire pit was great butbI was spooked by a marker to some one that passed away. TH LAKE WAS GREAT FOR FISHING THE TV WENT OUT RANDOMLEY AND THE WIFI THERMASTAT WAS BEING CINTROLLED BY SOMEONE I PAID GOOD MONEY Ishould be able to control the thermostat the worst thing of all was the county marshall left a yellow sighn saying that the house did not have a liscenes to rent. I THOUGH WE MIGHT GET THRIWN OUT BUT LUCLILY THE Marshall called me and said we could finish our stay. In 48 states I have never had this. I would have offered an alternate place to stay but I was told that since I entered I had to stay at an illegally rented cabin. They had five days to correct the problem but this wasted my time trying to calling three people to find out if I could stay legally The cabin was spacious and 10 on amenties the saftey of the lock and code violation was very stressful when there we had a great time and wouldbhighly recommend as long as the lock had precise instrutions and the back lock worked

Log Haven did not disappoint! The pool table and fishing dock kept the kids busy. Well-stocked kitchen made preparing meals a breeze. Cozy and quaint—Will definitely come back. :)

Everything thing I wanted it to be!

I asked my wife to find a spot on a lake that us and our 3 kids could run out the back door and fish/kayak/paddle board without any work or obstacle. She did excellent, as usual for her, and so did Vacasa. The owner worked with us to make sure all of the fun we wanted was had. The house is beautiful and the view was spectacular. The location is ideally located near the largest Waterfall this side of the Mississippi. Can not wait to go back!
