Sobre esta propriedade
Charming peaceful lakefront cottage near seacoast towns of Belfast and Camden
Escape to this serene and quiet lakeside cottage where you can relax, swim, kayak, fish, and bask in natural beauty. This supremely peaceful retreat is located down a private dirt road on Tilden Pond, a 400-acre lake which has the rare designation of “no public access.”
The two-bedroom house is designed to be delightfully cozy for a couple or family with one or two children. There is one bedroom with a queen bed and one bedroom with 2 single beds.
The cottage is 20 minutes from Belfast and 25 minutes from Camden, two lovely seacoast harbor towns, excellent for scenic strolls to enjoy great views, restaurants, boutiques, and art galleries. For taking in more of the varied beauty of coastal Maine, enjoy a salt water Penobscot Bay cruise to explore islands beyond, or hike in Camden Hills State Park for breathtaking ocean views.
With no Wifi or TV screens, this cottage is a place to ponder sublime sunsets to heal your soul and gaze at a star filled night sky. Fall asleep to the sound of loons. Take your morning coffee down to the dock to relax and you might spot the resident bald eagles fishing for their breakfast.
Things to know:
• 2 Kayaks included
• We designed a 3-season porch with the option of swapping out glass or screen panels depending on the weather. The round glass dining table which seats four is the dining area on the porch.
• The galley kitchen has a small refrigerator/freezer (60”H x 24” W x 22” D) and electric stove (24” W x 26” D).
• Complete set of silverware, cutting boards, dishes, cooking utensils, and pots and pans.
• No clothes closets for hanging clothes in bedrooms, coat hooks by entrance door.
• Water shoes are recommended for swimming in the lake. The water is warm and clear, with a shallow, rocky bottom. Bring your goggles if you want to explore the fascinating underwater terrain.
