Hey there, I’m Ryan, your host at Surf City Beach Cottages! I’m a Huntington Beach local, born and raised in the heart of Surf City USA, where the ocean’s pulse is part of daily life. Growing up here, I’ve spent my days riding waves, cruising the boardwalk, and soaking in the laid-back coastal vibe. Surfing’s my passion—whether it’s catching dawn patrol sessions or cheering on my champion surfing dogs, Sugar, TiTi, and Kiwi, who’ve become legends in their own right. I also love exploring local trails with my pups, firing up the BBQ for sunset gatherings, and sharing HB’s best spots with guests, from hidden coffee shops to prime surf breaks.
Being a host is my way of sharing this slice of paradise with you. I live in the back unit, so I’m always around to offer tips, arrange surf lessons, or make sure your stay feels like home. I get a kick out of seeing guests light up when they catch their first wave, relax in the new Hot Springs jacuzzi, or capture epic moments on video to share with friends. My goal?
