Escape to this Charming House near beach, Disneyland

Affordable, comfortable accommodations await you in this charming family vacation home in the heart of Huntington Beach. Just a short 5 minute drive to the beach, a 30 minute drive to Disneyland, and near all that HB has to offer, yet away from the crowds and noise in a quiet neighborhood. Enjoy a relaxing beach vacation in your home away from home.

Bedrooms have queen-sized beds, bathroom is newly remodeled (and includes hair dryer). This house has a fully-equipped kitchen, washer & dryer, hi-speed wifi, YouTube TV, beach chairs/towels, patio lounge with gas BBQ, driveway parking for 2 cars. All bedding & bath towels provided.

You will have private access to the living room, kitchen, laundry room, 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom, backyard & patio. Everything you see in the photos is your private living area including the backyard/patio.

Note: I do occasionally stay at the house, but my separate room is closed off from the rest of the home, and I enter thru the garage, so you'll never see me if I'm there. I never access your private area. Please ask any questions. I'm happy to reply quickly.

The nightly rate you see is the discounted rate for long term stays.

Our house is located in a quiet residential neighborhood and should only be considered if you and your group are looking for the same. We want you to enjoy your stay here, but loud groups may not be the best fit for our home. Please consider this when inquiring.
Note that this house does not have air conditioning. All bedrooms have ceiling fans. Aside from the rare extreme heatwave, seabreeze provides all the cooling needed. .

NOTE: Since COVID-19, after completing our deep cleaning, we are disinfecting our home after each group checks out, using disposable disinfectant wipes and single use cleaning supplies. This includes disinfecting all doorknobs, handles, light switches, countertops, appliances inside and out, floors, sinks, faucets, toilets/toilet seats, showers/tubs, etc. To allow us proper time to clean effectively we block out a full 2 days after guests check out, which is reflected on our calendar. Please feel free to message us with any questions.

Cozy, quiet place close to the beach.

House is in a nice, quiet neighborhood a few blocks from the beach and about 30 minutes to theme parks. It is furnished with everything you need. Perfect for a family vacation.

We enjoyed our stay! Michael was very considerate and accommodating. Place was clean, beds comfy, all conveniences of home. Minor decor updates needed but nothing that would affect comfort. Loved location. Not touristy. Great neighborhood. Recommend this home without a doubt or hesitation! Book it!!

Small, affordable and comfortable place with easy access to surrounding beach life.

I needed to 'stash' some out of town guests for a surprise birthday and found this to be comfortable and affordable. Three queen-sized beds was the key as they were all retirees and the plethora of bunk beds at other properties just wouldn't cut it. There isn't anything luxurious about the property and I think the price reflects that. The owner was incredibly responsive and kind. Thank you!

Exactly what we were looking for.

Our experience was better than expected. Being our first home away stay, we did not know what to expect and we were impressed with the experience that the home and owner provided. Michael provided suggestions for local restaurants and locations to visit as this was our first time to the area even ensuring we knew the best place to park avoiding any parking charges. Location - This homes location was perfect for us. We spent very little time traveling to our destinations. Minimal distance to several beaches which our family loved, and easy access to Disney Land and interstates as we went on daily adventures exploring the area. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful with no traffic noise, closing with a lovely covered patio in the back to relax and wind down after the adventurous days. We were surprised at how well the kitchen was stocked with every day needs ensuring that we only had to take care of what to prepare for meals, as the kitchen included cookware, spices and all. Thank you for the wonderful experience in sharing your home for our family to make lasting memories.

Comfy beds, dated appliances

This place has the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in at a VRBO. It was great to wake up fully ambulatory. The kitchen was highly frustrating as the skillets were well past their prime cheap non-stick skillets. I found no baking pans outside of a broiler pan. The stove and oven are on their last leg. We had to open windows when we used the oven as the gas fumes were strong while it was heating up. I suspect the thermostat is off as well as things took twice as long as it would in my home oven. The burners were hard to regulate if you turned them down the flame frequently went out you had to keep an eye on them. There were gaps in the grout on the master bathroom and the occasional little spider came to visit. The full bath in the hall doesn't appear to have been updated recently. Owner communication was great, came over to address the clogged tub that wasn't draining. Neither bath had working exhaust fans. I was put off by the lack of window coverings in the master bathroom (though the window was high it just skeeved me out). If your primary purpose for VRBO's is to be able to cook your own meals this may not be the best place for you. Due to significant allergies this was my intention but we ended up eating out more than I preferred and I'm still paying for it physically. The washer and dryer are dated and loud. That wasn't as big a deal as having to be on site for the length of the wash cycle so we could turn off the water supply after the washer had finished it's cycle. The cycles weren't long, I think the longest cycle was less than 25 minutes start to finish.

Nice getaway

Place was very clean which was the most important thing to us having to travel during COVID. The bathrooms were nicely updated. Kitchen is not recently updated but everything worked and it was well equipped with what we needed To cook simple meals. The outdoor space was gorgeous and well cared for. Enjoyed the nature as saw humming birds and butterflies.

In need of a deep clean

My family and I stayed here the week before Christmas. Michael is great, quick to respond and very friendly. The location was perfect and it was a quiet neighborhood. Although we enjoyed our stay we were disappointed with the cleanliness of the house. It is definitely in need of a deep clean! Hopefully the cleaning crew works a little harder.

Huntington Beach Get Away.

Everything was great. The beds were comfortable. The bathrooms were updated. We really enjoyed the backyard area with the fire in the chiminea. The neighborhood was very quite yet close to the Huntington Beach attractions.

Great stay

We enjoyed our stay at this very nice home. It is located in a quiet neighborhood. Though it is across the street from an elementary school, we barely heard a peep. The owner is friendly, cheerful, helpful and responsive, a good guy. The location is convenient and near many attractions. The well-kept backyard was perfect for our two young children. It's a great family getaway location.

Very nice stay for our family

Grown family of six: plenty of room. Had all utensils and supplies we needed. Michael was very helpful and allowed us to checkin early. Nice back yard with BBQ. Quiet street even with a school nearby and a nice neighbourhood close to restaurants and shopping. 30 minute drive to Disneyland and close to the beaches. Highly enjoyed our stay.

Nice, convenient and cozy beach house in a quiet neighborhood

Michael was a great guest and the house had just about everything that we needed for our extended stay in Southern California. Beaches are within a few minutes drive, and the house was cozy and inviting. The back patio was a nice getaway. Very quiet neighborhood. The only negative is no central A/C, but evenings with windows open and fans going made it comfortable--some nights requiring a blanket. Overall 5+ and would like to come again!

Close to the beach, but away from the crowds

We have stayed in several different Huntington Beach locations and found this house to be in a quiet neighborhood away from the hustle and bustle of the beach crowds. The backyard was particularly private and peaceful during the evenings. The owner, Michael was very responsive and quickly got back to us on anything that we needed. He even contacted us after we left behind and item and offered to mail it to us! There is off-street parking for two vehicles in the driveway so parking was not a problem. We would certainly consider staying here again the next time we are in the area.

Relaxing perfect getaway

My family and I enjoyed it so much. The house is beautiful and very relaxing. The owner was very nice and provided us with all the information we needed to make us feel as comfortable and stress free as possible.
