Villa near the beach with heated pool

Welcome to Villa Espada in Jávea on the Costa Blanca – a spacious holiday home for up to eight guests, offering privacy and comfort.

The Arenal Beach and its promenade with restaurants and cafés is about five minutes away by car while the villa itself offers peace and seclusion.

The property is fully enclosed with a large automatic gate; two cars can park inside the gated grounds.

The heated pool is approximately 10 by 5 metres.
A spacious outdoor kitchen and dining area are perfect for long summer evenings. A paella pan with its own gas burner is provided, along with hot tub, sauna and table tennis.

All four bedrooms have their own air-conditioning unit, plus an additional unit in the living room; underfloor heating keeps the house comfortable in cooler months.

A high-speed fibre optic connection provides fast, reliable internet throughout the house, ideal for streaming, video calls or remote work. Two Smart TVs offer access to popular streaming apps.

Additional amenities include a dishwasher in both indoor and outdoor kitchens and a washing machine.

We are personally available before and during your stay.
Many excellent reviews highlight the pool, outdoor space, privacy and personal service; several guests even say that the villa is even more beautiful in real life than in the photos.

We loved our stay at Villa Espada. Beautiful villa in a location that was easily accessible to Javea and Arenal beach.We were a family of 4 adults and 2 children and had a car which made everything accessible.The outside kitchen was really nice for the warm nights so we made the most of the April sunshine.Thanks. We will definitely be back.

The villa is beautiful, it combines everything you would want and feels like a home from home. Everything is comfortable and with two kitchens and all the bits and pieces that go with them we were able to enjoy meals and bbqs at the villa. The pool is a great size and was just the right temperature to be refreshing in 30 degree heat but not freezing. The property manager met us on arrival and explained everything and we also had contact from the owner to check we had everything we needed, this made us feel looked after. The location of the villa is excellent in terms of proximity to supermarkets (5 min drive if that) and access is easy to the old town centre as well as the beach front (c.12-15mins). We had a fab family holiday here. Recommend sitting on the patio in the early (ish) morning sun with a coffee, taking in the view and listening to the birds.

We had a really lovely stay here and were very impressed overall. The villa was even better than the photos, with a brilliant outdoor space, a great pool and lovely views that made it feel like a proper holiday from the moment we arrived. It was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay.The outdoor kitchen was a real bonus and made it easy to spend most of our time outside, which was great in the warm weather. The only thing to note is that the jacuzzi wasn’t on during summer, but honestly that didn’t take anything away from the stay for us. The pool and outside area more than made up for it.The annex was especially useful and worked really well for the teenagers in our group. It gave them a bit of their own space, which made a big difference and meant everyone had room to spread out and relax. That really suited us as a family and made the whole stay feel more comfortable.Communication was easy throughout and everything went smoothly from start to finish. Overall, we had a great time and would happily stay again. It’s a lovely place for a family holiday or a group trip, and we’d definitely recommend it.

Wonderful villa

Very spacious and clean villa with good size swimming pool. The outdoor kitchen is a great addition to the villa. Great communication with both owner and property manager.

Wonderful stay at Villa Espada

Great villa with beautiful gardens and exceptional outside facilities which included an outside kitchen and hot water shower. Location was lovely and peaceful with distant view of the sea and headland. Rainer was the most amazing host and kept in regular to contact to ensure everything went well. Thank you so much.

Family fun in Javea

The property was excellent and even better than the pictures provided.The outside area was the stand out point with various areas to relax or sunbathe. The pool being the highlight which is a great size (could do with being colder).The only minor comment would be that the separate apartment area needs a little more furniture make it feel even more comfortable so perhaps another sofa or rattan furniture set to sit.

The Property owner and manager were both excellent. They responded immediately to any requests or problems we had, which was wonderful during our stay. The villa was beautiful, with everything provided to make our stay comfortable and convenient. We would certainly stay here again and would definitely recommend.

What a lovely villa we stayed in has a lovely pool and jacuzzi the villa grounds are well looked after the owner Rainer was a very good host if i had a problem all you have to do is text and he will try and sort the problem we are hoping to stay again next year

We had the best time

We had the best time, amazing location, really easy to get to the beach and local shops around a 5 min drive. The outdoor kitchen was amazing, I was able to cook and still watch the kids in the pool. The bedroom layout was fab, we were all close and the children felt safe. The communication with the owner was brilliant, very informative, and touched base throughout our stay. It was a great Villa for our family.

Didn’t want to leave!

We have just spent a month there and loved so much about this villa and the area. Just a short drive or 40 minute walk to Arenal beach which is just humming with great selection of restaurants, bars and a beautiful beach which is perfect for the children. The villa has everything you want for your stay and the outside space is wonderful. We loved the heated pool, hot tub and the outdoor kitchen and bathroom. We had such a great time, can’t wait to return.

Top Location, beautiful Villa

We where very happy with everything. Nice host, beautiful house with pool, Jacuzzi, TableTennis, 3 Kitchen, 4 Bedrooms and a nice get together area. You can always reach somebody when you need help. You can park your car on the property and it’s very private. We would go again in a heartbeat. Top 👍

Well Needed Break

Picked this property as it was all on one level. My husband has Parkinson’s and we also had our 1 yr old grandson with us. The villa suited all our needs perfectly, my daughter , son in law and baby stayed in the separate “apartment “ and was great for them. The grounds are beautiful and the outside kitchen is so well equipped that you don’t need to use inside. We love Javea and this villa was the best we have stayed in. We will definitely stay here again! 😊

Amazing Large Villa

The outdoor space was fantastic. Unfortunately no water in the jacuzzi and the ping pong table couldn’t be used due to being located in a very hot garage. The stunning sea view would have been years ago when trees were not matured. You are paying for the outdoor space. Not walking distance from the local beaches.

Dear Justin, thanks for your rate. Just for the next time: the Ping-Pong table has wheels on the frame. Usually guests roll it out of the garage for playing. Unfortunately you didn´t ask for the jaccuzzi. Water needs to be renewd with every new guests, that´s why we only fill it uo upon request. Looking forward to welcome you next time again. Fantastic Villa & Wonderful owner

Absolutely fantastic Villa, very well equipped. Pool heating was wonderful. Outdoor kitchen, toilet and shower are brilliant (as other guests have said we hardly used the showers indoors) Comfortable beds, sofas & outdoor seating. Good location with supermarkets just a few minutes drive and only 5 minutes drive down to the beautiful bars and restaurants of Arenal. Javea port and old town 10 mins. Have had a number of beautiful Villas in Javea in the past and this is without doubt the best of them all. Rainer was the perfect host, communication was great and you can really see the thought and investment that has gone into the Villa. Very sad to leave as really felt at home but we will definitely be back. Thank you Rainer

Could not wish for anything better

We had an amazing 2 weeks at Villa Espada. The Villa is a great space to relax. The pool is a great size and having it to dip into during the day was welcome. There is ample seating area and it is possible to find shade ant time of the day. There is a really helpful kitchen outside which is where we spent most of our food prep time (and a bbq) All bedrooms are a good size and have air conditioning. Communication with Rainer, the host was good and although I never met him in person it didn’t feel like he was far away should the need arise. The Villa is located just a short drive from supermarkets, restaurants and beaches. Further afield we visited Aqualandia (water park fun) in Benidorm and also we took a day trip to València which is just over an hours drive. Would totally recommend staying!

A very nice villa and and a helpful landlord

We spent two weeks in this fantastic house and are extremely pleased with both the location and the facilities that were offered, e.g. pool, jacuzzi, table tennis, etc. In the large pool we spent many lovely hours, the adjacent outdoor kitchen was perfect for both breakfast and dinner or just to be able to go straight up from the pool and get something cooling to drink from the fridge. Everything was perfect and felt well thought out. The area is very quiet, we hardly saw or heard neighbors or passing cars. We had a rental car and always took it on the way down to Arenal beach or further into Javea. Of course it would have been possible to go to the beach, probably about 20 minutes, but as the roads are quite narrow without sidewalks before you reach the "centre", it didn't feel interesting. Our host Rainer was always available if we had questions, as was Georgiana who received us on the day of arrival, very helpful. In summary: A great villa we would be happy to rent again, 10/10!

Amazing villa

We had a fantastic time at this wonderful villa, fully accessible throughout, including shallow steps and a handrail into the pool - which is very hard to find. Everywhere was easy to access so we had one very happy disabled customer. It's a very quiet location, hardly any noise or passing traffic. It's a 20 minute downhill walk into the Arenal area where you will find shops, restaurants and bars aplenty; definitely a taxi back though, these hills are steep! I had planned on hiring a mobility scooter but the location is not suitable for that, the roads are single track and very narrow with no pavements until you get into town so it would have been dangerous to try; the hills were too steep for my wheelchair so I was stuck with taxis which were quite expensive. However the taxi company we used was reliable, friendly and accessible so we were happy to use them. I wouldn't market this as 'car not required', it would have been useful to have a car and would have been cheaper than the multiple taxis we used. But that doesn't take away from the fact that this is an amazing villa and the owner couldn't have been more helpful from day one right through to the end of our holiday. Would I go back? Probably not, but that's mainly because of the location and my particular circumstances of being disabled, the property was first class and I would highly recommend it.

Villa Espada - Perfect family holiday

Just returned from a wonderful week spent at Villa Espada with 5 other family members and could not have asked for more. Just wish I had booked it for longer. When I first found this Villa on the website both myself and my daughter fell in love with it. The pictures don't actually do it full justice as it is more impressive in real life. The view was stunning and the privacy you have is superb. The outdoor kitchen, shower and toilet were fantastic, with a high quality finish and the perfect addition to the villa. Majority of our time was spent outside making use of such wonderful facilities. All the rooms were great sizes with more than enough space for all. The beds in every room had quality mattresses and I can honestly say the most comfortable I have slept on any holiday. Thank you Rainer....this made such a difference. Communication with the owner Rainer was great, with information and updates supplied without any prompting with well wishes received both on arrival and departure. Fantastic location with supermarket 3 mins away and El Arenal beach/town a very short 5 min drive. Javea old town was approx 10 min drive with its quaint streets and houses. Comes alive of an evening with the busy restaurants that line the streets around the centre. Found a lovely little cocktail bar "Aya Huma" that serves amazing cocktails. Would definitely return to this Villa in the future without a doubt. Thanks again Rainer.....Perfect!!!!!
