We had a great time here! It really is perfect for a large family. The two fridges and two washers/dryers were extremely helpful during the stay. It’s right on the beach. We went in October and pretty much had the beach to ourselves most days, with just infrequent/random people who would drive by on golf carts. Overall a very private beach experience. There are 3 bathrooms downstairs and 4 bedrooms downstairs. 2 of those bathrooms are en suites. There’s technically 3 bedrooms upstairs but make sure you know that one of those bedrooms is a loft space. You walk through that area to get to the other two bedrooms. There’s one bathroom upstairs that’s connected to the loft space. However, that bathroom is sectioned off well. There’s a double vanity separated out. And then a toilet room that’s separate with a sink and then the shower room is separate as well. So it is easy for multiple people to use that bathroom at the same time. The kitchen is fully stocked. We did bring a couple of larger pans from home only cuz we weren’t sure what they’d have. But overall, they have everything you would potentially need. The hosts were very helpful and responded quickly as well. If you’re going to Port Bolivar and need a large space for your family, I’d definitely recommend staying here!

The Ultimate Family Beach House

We absolutely loved our stay at this beach house! It was spacious, spotless, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed. Having two refrigerators and two sets of laundry facilities was such a convenience for our group. The bedrooms and bathrooms were comfortable and nicely appointed, and the outdoor spaces were perfect for relaxing and enjoying the view. Best of all, it's right on the beach—we could step straight out onto the sand. Highly recommend this home for a relaxing and hassle-free beach getaway!

Great family vacation!

This "Beach House" is perfect! It is exactly as described online. Our large family fit perfectly in the seven bedrooms. The kitchen/living area was very large as well as the outdoor deck. Did I mention it is right on the beach! The kids had so much fun swimming and hanging out on the beach. We enjoyed staying at DayDreamer so much! Definitely recommend staying here and would love to stay again!! Thank you bolivarvacations.com!

Great Beach House

Our family enjoyed staying at DayDreamer at end of July. Plenty of space for everyone to visit together, cook together or get away for some quiet time. LOVED the location on the beach, not alot of foot or vehicle traffic...almost like it was our own private beach! Check in and out instructions were great, house was clean and had every amenity we needed...hope to stay here again!!

Beautiful and Quiet!

We loved our time in this house! It was GREAT for our large group- the double fridge and double laundry was so helpful! This house is on a more secluded part of the beach, keeping us far from crowds and noise. We absolutely loved this house!

DayDreamer was a Dream House

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at DayDreamer. We really appreciated the space and that all the beds were queen or king size (no bunk beds). Since we cooked a lot of our meals, we appreciated that the kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans and utensils. But our favorite part of the house was the deck. Those deck chairs were amazing. I'll always remember the late nights out on the deck looking at the moon.

Great for large families!!

The house and the location were perfect for our large family! There were plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms and living spaces. The 2 refrigerators and 2 washers/dryers was a plus. The outdoor shower and foot wash were great when coming from the beach. The beach was within steps of the property which was great for coming and going to the house. I would highly recommend! Just be ware if coming on Jeep weekend, LOTS!!!!! of police presence which was fine except for the 2-hour check point to get to the house on Friday evening!

The house was wonderful. Fully equipped and right on the beach. We had a little trouble with the door at check-in and only 2 burners would work on the grill but other than that, it was great! Would definitely recommend and stay again!

Day Dreamer

The size and location on the house were perfect for our family. Many memories were made. Our family included mother, siblings, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The second set of washer and dryer and 2 refrigerators was definitely appreciated. Would like to have had an elevator, especially for supplies. Beach was very private.

Another great time

Great home for a big family. The kids have the up stairs and love doing their own thing when not in common area downstairs. House is stocked with all the kitchen necessities and the house is very clean. Easy access to the beach and downstairs is great. This is our 2nd visit to the home and we plan to rent again for our next family outing. The manager is very attentive and responsive if we have questions. The best rental I've ever had.

Beach Stay

My family and I stayed here between Christmas and New Year's. The house is very roomy, clean and is updated nicely. A bonus is it has two refrigerators. It is right on the beach and also has plenty of parking. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I highly recommend this house.

One of the cleanest rentals I have ever booked! Kitchen was stocked with all the essential and having 2 refrigerators with a large group was great! Great location, wonderful view from the deck, and quiet beach.

Daydreamer Reunion

We're a group of high school graduates from 1971. This was our 19th year to gather at a beach house. We loved this house because there were no bunk beds. We're too old for bunks so the double queens were perfect. The house was clean and beautifully decorated. It was well furnished and had every amenity we needed. The two seating areas and dining spaces were perfect for our meals. The deck was pleasant for relaxing in the late afternoon. The only thing we would have appreciated is a lift for our baggage and supplies. The bathrooms could also use a safety grab bar for the tubs/showers. Even a mat in the tub would be welcomed. Renting was easy and Bolivar Vacations made everything clear and simple. We'll definitely be repeat users.

Great Beach House

Our group loved the house! It was perfect for all of us to get together for a nice little vacation. Having 2 fridges in the house was a game changer. The management was wonderful and answered any questions we had promptly. There was enough space for all of us to enjoy each other's company without being crowded. We would definitely use this house again for any future beach vacations!

Family Reunion

Our family stayed at daydreamer for the second year. Everything was to our expectations. We came the week after hurricane Beryl had hit and the house was an excellent condition. The beaches were clean and in good shape. All the businesses on the peninsula had reopened. Lots of respect for the folks who worked hard to get the peninsula back operational.

Great spot for family and friend beach fun!

This house had everything we could need and more for a great long weekend at the beach. Plenty of space to relax and have fun with friends and family. An easy walk to the beach, and a close drive to beach access through car if needed.

Beautiful Home

My family of 14 stayed at Daydreamer for 5 days and 4 nights. The house is beautiful and very spacious. The beds were comfortable and the. Bathrooms were clean. The patio was very nice and we were so close to the beach. Not much traffic on the beach, just a golf cart now and then. We loved DayDreamer!

Wonderful House

Perfect House

This was a perfect house for two families with all grown children. Lots of room to spread out! The kitchen was loaded with everything you might need. The deck was perfect with lots of lounge chairs as well as other sitting areas. We loved that the chairs were raised to see over the railing. Just an FYI (not a reflection of the house just the environment) we were there in May after all the rain and the mosquitoes were horrible so pack your bug spray. Also the starlink internet can be a bit slow but hey we were there to enjoy family and the beach!!! We would definitely rent Daydreamer again.
