Private pool with Tiki bar. NO SMOKING. NO PETS. Weekly rental. Following VRBO/CDC cleaning guidelines & have air purifiers with UV lights. Capture a memory in this unforgettable beach getaway. Come enjoy unique, bird's eye views of both the Sound and Ocean from observation roof deck of this dune high home. Watch beautiful sunrises over the ocean in the morning and magnificent sunsets over the sound in the evening. Relax and soak up the sun, then cool off with a refreshing dip in the crystal blue waters of your own private pool or create a special island drink at the poolside Tiki bar. Conveniently located in the Town of Duck, take a short stroll to restaurants, quaint shops and water sports. Interior lovingly decorated with lots of nautical details; brightly colored comforters make every bedroom special. This home has lots to offer. Beach access is approximately 600 yards with parking. (For an additional $300 and a week's notice, the pool can be heated).
Ground level: Pool, enclosed outside shower(H/C) w/dressing area, ping pong table, picnic table, hammock, bike shed, corn hole game locker, guest closet with pool & beach items/toys.

Perfect beach getaway

Very nice, well maintained home. Close to beach, restaurants and shopping. Pool was great and owner provides all the items you need to enjoy your stay.

Great week in Duck

This was our second time staying here, and we had a great week. We love the location , the pool and the beach. Yvonne is a very responsive and wonderful host.

Awesome stay

We’ve been to the outer banks many times, but this was one of the cleanest, well stocked houses we’ve been in. The pool area was fantastic. Great tiki vibe. Short walk to the beach and easy access too. Everyone had an awesome time.

We had a wonderful week at Pelican View! The walkability to town and pool were ideal. We rented a golf cart to get to the beach and are glad we did. You could walk it but with toddlers and beach equipment it was welcome transport. The home was a little dated but clean. Yvonne was the nicest, most welcoming and most communicative host we have ever had in all of our VRBO rentals. We would highly recommend this property.

Great visit

We loved our time at A Pelican's View. The property is well-maintained and in a great location between Duck town center and the beach. The kids had a great time at the pool and we all made good use of the beach accessories, bikes, and other items that are available. The owner was extremely welcoming and communicative through our week's stay. We really enjoyed our visit and hope to make it back sometime!

Awesome experience!

We had a great time staying at "A Pelican's View!" The house was so well appointed; great furniture (indoor and outdoor), pool area clean, and nice small touches, such as dishsoap, bathmats, a hair dryer, and more. Although Hurricane Dorian cut our week short, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and plan to return!

Amazing week in Duck

The house and pool areas are very clean. The owners provided everything that you could need for cooking, swimming, and having beach fun! Yvonne sent daily messages regarding the rip currents and checked in as needed.

Great Duck beach house!

We enjoyed our stay at A Pelican’s View, a comfortable and well maintained home just a short walk to the shops in Duck. We really appreciated the well-stocked kitchen, lots of beach gear and beautiful pool! And Yvonne, the owner, was wonderful - she checked in with us before our trip and stayed in touch with us throughout our week, which was especially helpful because tropical storm Idalia passed through the OBX late the week we were there. Great house especially for families with younger children.

Perfect location

This house had everything you could need for a perfect beach vacation ! Walking distance to shops and grocery store. Short drive down to the beach with parking right by the beach access. Loved hanging by the pool all day and playing ping pong and riding bikes. Would definitely recommend staying here! Yvonne was an amazing host!

Absolutely PERFECT !!!

This home has it all... The beach, the town boardwalk over the sound, shops and a market all within a few minutes walk make this a perfect location. Your private pool with tiki bar, multiple decks and open floor plan provide a relaxing atmosphere for all to relax in. Thanks for an amazing week, we'll be back !!!

Great Beach Getaway

We had a great time staying at A Pelican's View. The pool was amazing, so much better than even the pictures show. The house was so well stocked with pool and beach gear. We loved the proximity to the main road through Duck where all the shops and restaurants are. It's a bit of a walk to the beach but we are walkers and don't mind. And there are always the bikes to get there a bit faster. This house really has everything you need for a great beach getaway.

Great stay!

Our family of 4 had a wonderful time at Yvonne’s place. The pool was the best! We spent most of our time there and hanging at the tiki bar. Our kids are 5 and 7, so being close to the beach and town was perfect for walking around. Another next feature is the deck with great views of the ocean and sound. Yvonne is also a very gracious host and was so easy to get in touch with. She even quickly mail us an iPad we forgot!

Great Stay in Duck

Our family of five, three boys ages 3-11, thoroughly enjoyed our Outer Banks vacation. The house is extremely clean, very well maintained and had everything you could possibly want for a beach vacation. The pool is fantastic, and our boys loved hanging out there every afternoon. We liked being able to walk to the Duck boardwalk, with its restaurants and shops. We opted to drive to the beach since we were able to park right by the entrance, but you could easily walk if you prefer. We would be happy to stay here again and hope we are able to do so in the future.

Great location! Very clean!!

Our family of four had an amazing week! The Pelican's View was very clean! Our kids have a lot of environmental allergies but we had no issues. The location is great! +10min walk to the beach, -10min walk to Coffee/Donuts/Duck. The beautiful pool, ping pong table, and bikes were all the perfect way to end our day. Yvonne is an excellent communicator and was available if we needed anything (which we didn't). I would not hesitate to stay here again!

House has everything!

Perfect location, fabulous pool and Yvonne was the most responsive host I’ve ever dealt with. House has absolutely everything... you need to just bring your clothes. There is even a permanent baby gate at the top of the steps. We were 2 families (4 adults, a 9y/o and a 19 month old) and had plenty of space. The town of Duck is wonderful and be able to walk everywhere made it so much easier. Beach was beautiful and a short walk down the street. We had a great time and will be returning in the future.

Much needed vacation.

The property is wonderful, very clean and very well stocked with all that you need to have a pleasant stay. The owner is very easy to speak to and to get a hold of, she is very responsive. We had an amazing time with our family and heated pool was definitely a plus!! Would highly recommend this property!

Wonderful stay

We had a great stay! It was a very convenient location being close to the beach and downtown Duck. Yvonne was very attentive and sent e-mails about the beach conditions every day. The house has everything you need to enjoy your stay. We plan on returning hopefully soon!

Great Vacation Spot

This is a great property for a relaxing family vacation. The place was spacious, clean, well equipped and had a very nice private pool and outdoor bar area. It is also in a perfect location, with only a short walk to the Duck boardwalk on the Sound or private Atlantic Ocean beach access. It was so conveniently located we rarely used our car. Yvonne was an excellent host and communicated regularly. We hope to return one day soon.

Wonderful stay!

We loved our week in Duck. The house is walking distance to shops/markets/restaurants and a short drive to Corolla. There’s beach access at the end of the road as well. Yvonne’s home is clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the pool and eating on the screened in deck! Hope to come back sometime!

Amazing stay for our week in Duck, NC

House had a great location right in the middle of Duck. Could see both the sound and the ocean from the crows nest rooftop deck. Five minute walk to boardwalk to ocean, or could drive down residential street and park. Right near market, easy walk for coffee and boardwalk on the sound shops. Pool was a great size for a rental of this size - family loved eating at the tiki bar poolside and lots of lounge furniture. Kitchen well stocked, also had beach items stocked for use (cart, umbrella, chairs). Family also loved the large collection of board games! Would 100% recommend. Hope to go back in the future!
