We went to a family wedding. The venue was very close. We spent most of our stay at mermaid way. Everything was just a pictured in VRBO. We enjoyed the amenities. And would recommend this 100%.

Great home to spend the week at , no major issues, but the back stairs to the pool area could use some TLC ,splinters. Great kitchen, everything we needed , loved the pool where we spent a lot of time !

Nice house!

Nicely furnished and equipped house that is also pet friendly. Within short walking distance to the beach, Publix, putt putt, Goombays, Bagels and, of course, Duck Donuts

Fun place to stay!

Mermaid Way was a wonderful place to stay for friends and family. We were at the beach everyday which was only a short walk from the house. There were so many activities at the house and surrounding area we could have used a second week of vacation. A wonderful time was had by all.

This house was very special and one of our nicest rentals. House was clean. It had many amenities. The large bedrooms and individual bathrooms were a plus for all adult family of 5. It was a few minute walk to the beach and a very sizeable pool. Location was perfect for restaurants and shopping some within walking distance. We've booked the same property for next year.

Overall great time

We really enjoyed our stay! The home was exactly as described and there was plenty to do in the house and in the area to keep everyone entertained. The home could have been cleaned better and the traffic noise was annoying at times but it wasn’t awful. We’d stay there again.

Perfect spacious beach house!

Great walkable location centrally located. The pool and hot tub were a huge plus and the upstairs living space was perfect for our group hangouts!

Spring Break in the OBX

This house provided an excellent location for a vacation in the OBX! We enjoyed every part of this house from the heated pool to the family fun game room. With a bathroom adjoining every bedroom, it gave our kids some needed alone space. This house will be our go to for future trips to the Outer Banks.

Our stay here was wonderful! The host was very responsive with the few questions we had! The hot tub and pool were perfect! Very close walk to the beach and great restaurants! Highly recommend this place for your OBX vacation!!

Amazing and relaxing

Our stay at this property was fantastic! There was a grocery store right across the street, the beach was also right down the street! It was a very enjoyable walk to the beach as well! Everyone was friendly too! The pool was me of the best highlights of the stay! The kids loved the pool and all the toys provided 10/10! Highly recommend!!! We will be going back

Family vacation 2024

Great vacation the house was great everything was clean and as it stated in the listing! Easy walk to the beach even with small children and the pool was fantastic! Would highly recommend and we are planning to stay here again! Thanks for a great vacation in the Outer Banks !!

Lovely home in a prime location

We had a wonderful time staying at Mermaid Way! It is a beautiful home and truly is in a phenomenal location. It was great having all private bathrooms. The beds were comfy and the kitchen is spacious and well stocked. The house is super close to Jockey's Ridge, Wright Brothers Memorial, tons of stores, and a quick stroll to the beqch access.

Fantastic Rental

We had an amazing time despite it being cold and rainy. The house was great for two families. Location was perfect, close to the beach, restaurants, and other activities. Would definitely stay at this rental again!
