Welcome to Haven: a Premium Hamilton Cove Getaway! Only 21 Steps + Golf Cart

(Please ask about our gorgeous new "sister" property in Building 1 now available.) Come enjoy our premium, hilltop corner unit in Avalon's 24/7 guard-gated Hamilton Cove with expansive 35 foot balcony and unobstructed, stunning ocean views! We also include our new golf cart (replaced in October 2025.) The condo is only one set of stairs from the top road (Plaza Azul) in building 2 and ultra convenient with only 21 steps! We just remodeled our place with new carpet, new stove, new microwave, new refrigerator, new dishwasher, new LG Smart TVs (65" and 55"), all new pillows, sheets, blankets, duvets, towels, artwork, patio furniture, 2-in-1 coffee center and new Verizon 5G Business Class WiFi (up to 200 Mbps.). We have one of the more rare wood-burning fireplaces, and our condo features wall-to-wall ocean views due to two sets of dual French doors and the dining room with bay windows. Both the living room and master bedroom have no neighbor above them, as this is a "pop out" corner unit near the top with the vaulted ceilings. Your stay includes complimentary use of our 4-seat Yamaha golf cart with free, dedicated parking conveniently located at the top road and not at the base of the development. Amenities include swimming pool, spa, fitness facilities, saunas, Hamilton Cove beach, 18-hole miniature golf, two tennis courts, a badminton/croquet area, children's playground, beach volleyball, and outdoor grills. For those who are familiar with Hamilton Cove, this is Building 2, Condo 45 just one set of stairs from the upper road.

Great stay at the Haven in Hamilton Cove. Very comfortable and relaxing condo with a fantastic view. Easy to get to with only 21 steps and close proximity to the golf cart. We had a sea gull visit us on our balcony! Brent is definitely one of the best hosts we have met! Hope to return again soon.

The view from this condo is breathtaking and there is no amenity lacking. Brent was such a great host- he even met us with the golf cart upon arrival so we didn’t have to deal with a cab. Highly recommend!! If going to Catalina Island, stay here.

It was my boyfriends first time visiting Catalina Island and it did not disappoint. The view is phenomenal. The house was clean and well stocked with everything you need. Located just a few steps down from the main roadway, their home is easy to access and beautifully located over the beaches of Catalina. The Happy Place

What a special place to stay at the Hamilton Cove! It was perfect in every way. The cleanliness is so important and it’s hard to find places that exceed your expectations. A true beauty and wonderful escape. The unit was very spacious and the view was spectacular! The customer service was top notch with a personal touch. The host was accommodating, a creative problem solver and resourceful. The host aim was to ensure our experience was special for our celebration in every way and boy were they successful. Great clean condo at Hamilton Cove

Randomly was looking for a one night getaway for my dads birthday and was lucky to get the place we stayed at. The place was nice and clean from the kitchen, bedroom and the bathroom. We have stayed at other places in Hamilton Cove but were way outdated. This has been recently upgraded which made our stay more enjoyable. Brents was very responsive prior to reserving and after confirmation. He even made sure that we had the golf cart before we were able to check in. This place has the same beautiful view as most places in Hamilton Cove but Brents responsiveness and the cleanliness of the condo would definitely make us want to stay there again.

OWNERS ARE THE BEST!!!!!!!!

I surprised my Husband for his Birthday here in early Feb and brought along our two littles (6 and 3).We found the place in the PERFECT spot just outside of town and the pool, private beach and playground were as amazing as they sound!!! I literally wanted to play on the playground! Super cool!! Condo worked great for the kids and us!!Best of all was the great communication with the owner Brent who I think is my new bestie! Haha! He was wonderful and helped EVERY step of the way to make sure our trip was PERFECT!!!We especially loved the views, with dolphin pods EVERY morning you could see from the balcony plus the wonderful golf cart included that’s super close and fun to explore Avalon with!! Master bedroom was surprisingly large too! Can’t wait to come again!!! :-)

Absolutely Amazing!

My husband and I spent a few nights at Hamilton Cove for some rest and relaxation . Everything about our experience was top notch! The condo itself was in pristine condition and it was everything it was advertised to be. The views were stunningly breathtaking. We felt like we had our own little piece of heaven as we spent each morning and evening watching the sun rise and set from unobstructed views of the Pacific Ocean. What was even more impressive was the hospitality of the hosts, which began prior to our trip. Brent was very attentive and provided us with all the information we needed to have a wonderful experience. He was extremely kind and even mailed me some items that were left behind. We fell in love with the island and will definitely be back for a longer stay. We could not recommend this property enough. You will not be disappointed.

Haven was Heaven on Earth!!

My wife Angie and I had a wonderful time staying at this gorgeous property. The experience was great from the very beginning with the booking process and communication from Brent (The Host.) Upon arriving at the home, we were delighted to find everything had exceeded our expectations. The panoramic view from the balcony was breathtaking. It reminded us of our stay in Santorini a few years ago. Anything we could have possibly wanted was already provided from the large flat screen TV's down to a well-stocked kitchen, beach towels and chairs, tennis rackets and balls, etc. We were pleased to find how spacious this unit was along with the luxurious bathroom with shower and tub. We loved the use of the golf cart! It made running into Avalon for dinner and shopping very convenient and also really fun. WE can't express enough how wonderful our stay was and so looking forward to booking again in the near future. Thank you so much!!!

Incredible condo, stunning views, and amazing host

We travel frequently and we’ve stayed in many vacation rentals, and this was one of our best experiences for so many reasons. The condo, which is situated in the lovely gated community of Hamilton Cove, was amazing and perfect for our family vacation. The first thing you notice when you walk in the door is the stunning, panoramic view of the ocean. It was truly a magical sight, and we spent all of our mornings on the balcony taking in the beautiful sunrises. The condo was very clean, comfortable and well appointed. We spent half of our first day playing games in the family room and taking in the views- we didn’t feel like we had to rush out because we enjoyed this home so much. Brent was also the kindest, most responsive and helpful host we have ever had. He went out of his way to make sure we had all of the information we needed. You could tell he genuinely cared and wanted us to enjoy their home and the island. We were so impressed with everything about our stay, and we will absolutely stay here again on our next visit to Catalina.

Family Trip to Catalina Island

After searching for days for place to stay at Catalina Island, we were ecstatic to come across this condo in Hamilton Cove. The view was spectacular and breath taking. We loved that the condo was just a set of stairs from the street so we did not have to climb or go down a lot of stairs. Further, the furniture were updated including the decors of the unit. The kitchen was equipped with just the right amount of supplies to allow us to cook breakfast and dinner since we wanted to enjoy the view and condo in the evening. Our kids loved the game boards and private beach. There were beach towels, sand toys, and pool toys for our kids to use when they went swimming at the beach and pool. We wished we had more time to enjoy the clubhouse and other amenities of Hamilton Cove such as the tennis courts. We also liked that the unit had a four passenger golf cart for us to use which allowed for us to drive to around Catalina Island and to the beach and pool. A plus is that the condo is close to Descanso Beach Club, Catalina Aerial Adventure Park, and Catalina Zip Line Eco Tour with activities to keep you busy for the entire day. We would recommend this condo and book it again on our next visit to Catalina Island.

Look no further, this is the premier condo In Hamilton Cove

Wow! Blown away with the experience from the beginning to end. Where do I start? First, this condo is absolutely the best in all of Hamilton Cove! Stunning unobstructed ocean views, pristine property conditions, excellent communication with the owners, use of their golf cart, only one flight of stairs, and a private gated community. We are still pinching ourselves after staying in this beautiful oceanfront condo & amazing vacation. Second, Brent the owner, is awesome! He communicates regularly & is available to answer any questions! Lastly, there is no doubt we will definitely be back. I highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in Catalina, that you stay here!

A little slice of heaven

The property was absolutely superb. And the views were amazing, in fact they were so special we found ourselves spending most of our time on the deck looking out. The condo truly is a gem. It was spotless and decorated nicely. Working with the owner was seamless and they were very communicative. We had use of their golf cart which made it easy to get around. We truly loved the property and have already booked two other trips!!!

Restorative, Picturesque and Adventurous Island Escape

Our family of four (2 adults; 2 teens) had a remarkable vacation on Catalina, and the foundation of that vacation was our picturesque, serene and well-equipped condo in Hamilton Cove. We absolutely loved our stay! This condo offered spectacular views, a peaceful environment and all the amenities we needed: a heated pool, hot tub, sauna, beach and snorkeling area, tennis and basketball courts, workout facilities, and most importantly, a golf cart to get around and tour the island. We ran out of time to do any barbecuing, but there are grills by the beach too. We took advantage of the many wonderful restaurants in the area; we went to nearly every one that the owners recommended and enjoyed them all! We also went zip lining and parasailing at their recommendation and loved those activities too. We hiked, snorkeled, walked around downtown Avalon, listened to bands, people watched, and golf-carted to different points around the island. There is a comprehensive notebook of information prepared by the owners with so many different activities to consider. The condo itself was very clean, modern and beautifully accessorized; well organized; equipped with everything we needed (golf cart, tennis rackets, beach towels, coffee, tea, all kitchen items necessary to cook breakfast each morning, bedding, towels, cards, board games and puzzles); and had impeccable instructions on getting around and accessing everything in Hamilton Cove, including the very reliable and strong Wifi (critical as we have two teenagers). Cellular service wasn't available for us at the condo (ATT) so we relied on Wifi, which was no trouble at all. The sleeping arrangements for 4 worked out well by using the pull out couch/bed in the living room in addition to the master bedroom. Oh, and did I mention the spectacular views? We LOVED sitting on the patio enjoying our morning breakfast! There is a newly refurbished Vons very close by with ample parking for the golf carts, so it's easy to do a combo of eating in (breakfast & snacks) and eating out (lunch & dinner). I can not say enough wonderful things about the condo owners, who provided so much information about what to do and see in Catalina! They were incredibly responsive to our questions. It was evident that they wanted us to fall in love with Catalina and Hamilton Cove the way they have. We all agreed the vacation was wonderful and this unit in Hamilton Cove was absolutely the right place to stay! LOVED IT!

Hi! We're Brent and Carrie, and we're from Carlsbad, California but have always loved Catalina Island! We purchased this condo in May 2022 and spent six weeks getting it ready to have guests. We have only 5-star reviews and two guests who submitted video testimonials, but those dropped off after we decided to self-manage our property and try to keep rates lower for guests. We're approaching our 27th wedding anniversary and have four sons (25, 24, 22 and 17.) We've been searching for the perfect place for seven years and when this corner unit near the top became available, we jumped on it! Feel free to message us and we can answer any questions you may have, as well as to send reviews published to our then property manager's site! We literally went live on VRBO (on our own!) on August 13, 2022.

It's been updated, is only one flight of steps from the top road (Plaza Azul) and is a corner unit with extra windows in the bedroom and living room to really take in the ocean. As we're on a corner, we are one of the units which actually has a wood burning fireplace, and we have the vaulted ceilings with beams in the living room and bedroom. We are including our Yamaha 4-passenger golf cart, too -- and we just put in a brand new stainless steel microwave and stove, two new 2022 LG Smart TVs, new ceiling fans in the bedroom and living room, new California King bed set, frame, nightstand and large dresser, a Cuisinart 2-in-1 Coffee Center with regular coffeemaker and a K-cup machine, and we managed to talk Verizon into allowing us to bring over our enterprise-grade 5G internet gateway and reprovision it to work on the island! We're seeing speeds up to 20X faster than the Catalina Island internet speeds we had when we purchased, too. We also are making available the full-sized washer and dryer which we share with the adjacent condo. We have pool toys, board games, tennis rackets and balls, and everything you'd need to have an amazing vacation! We've also written a visitor's guide with fun activities during your stay, great places to eat, and more.

Guests find us very convenient being only one set of stairs from the top road. It's also rare to have a fireplace and the added windows from being a corner condo. As we are both a corner and near the top, we actually are a "pop out" condo with no neighbor above the bedroom or living room and we have the high vaulted ceilings at both the living room and bedroom with the wooden beams. Another nice convenience is that the parking for our golf cart is up top pretty close to the condo and not down below where guests must park and then climb dozens of stairs.
