Countryside retreat with adventure all around!

Artist designed home thats unique, spacious and comfortable. The house has great natural light, rustic touches and everything you need for a wonderful experience. We have high speed Wifi, fire Pit/BBQ, wood stoves, two balconies, and endless space.

The 12 acre property is peaceful and expansive. Beautiful Hemlock Forest with a creek and hiking trails steps away. Amazing array of recreation close by and plenty of nice towns to chose from.

The House is creatively setup and thoughtfully spaced. Main bedroom has a queen bed, private bathroom and balcony. The loft bed room has two queen beds with Japanese Tatami flooring and a TV. Living room has two couches plus a fold out futon and wood stove. There is entertainment for guests to enjoy. The spiral staircase to the lower floor has 2nd full bathroom and outdoor gear. There's high speed wifi, great heating, fire pit/bbq and outdoor seating.

Our land has a large Hemlock forest, hiking trails, 30 plus apple trees and a creek you can hear flowing from the backyard. The area is full of great wilderness and wildlife. Deer, Fox, Rabbit, Owls, Hawks, Eagles, Herons, Beavers, Trout, Bass and more. We have very few bugs as well. Fun to explore in all seasons!

The road is great for walking, running and biking with a couple horse stables, farms and beaver lodges along the creek as you pass by.

Fun outdoor adventures await all less than twenty minute drive from the house. Great hiking trails, plenty of Lakes, Ponds, and Rivers that are all great for recreation. Some of the best fly fishing on the east coast is just about 30 minutes away on multiple rivers.

We can serve as adventure guides if you'r interested. Some of these are seasonal and aren't always available. We have a price breakdown for each experience we facilitate. Please inquire!

- Guide to prime hiking trails and scenic areas.

- Wood fired sauna and natural cold plunge experience
- Archery and/or small caliber target practice.
- Candle making, maple syrup harvest, apple picking and cider making.
+ We have all the equipment and safety gear.

These are all happening at the house or close by. There are 3 lakes, 2 ponds and 2 rivers we consistently take people out on, all nearby. The sauna and cold plunge are just down the road. Archery and target range is on the property.

We have two TV's with HDMI connection and VHS/DVD for entertainment. Games, books, art materials, a guitar and sporting equipment for guest use. Bluetooth speaker for inside and out.

Grass is always mowed on property and trails maintained. Cool golf courses nearby. About an hour to Ski resorts and fun cross country Skiing and sledding in the area. Something for everyone!

There are several historic towns near by with everything you need. Walton, Sidney and Franklin are 20 minutes away.

There are good restaurants, breweries, cidery's, bar and grills, ice cream stops, cafe's, antique shops, farmers markets, art galleries, theatre and more.

FYI Cell service limited. We use "wifi calling" setting on phone. High speed wifi in the whole house. Wed on not have cable or anything like that, we use hdmi cords that plug to our computer, dvd or VHS. There is also a Landline.
