Review of the Capri Beachfront Condo

The owner's use the services of a great local company. We have dealt with for several years and they are the very best in the area for customer service and attention to unit detail. We enjoyed an immaculate unit, plus monogrammed towels, high end linens, and wonderful bath products, definitely not your typical experience in a condo rental. The condo was decorated very nicely and was very clean. The views from the balcony are breathtaking.

Condo Review in Perido Key

We stayed at a beautiful condo ( August 13-August 20). We had stayed there before and loved the condo and the area. We did notice that the kitchen as not supplied very well with good working applicances like can openers, Some of the utinsils were broken or just not there. However, it is a beautiful unit that served our needs very well. If your looking for a beautiful view, lots of room, and private beaches, this is the place!

Vacay 2023

The unit was very nice and very clean and well equipped for a family of 12. The only problem we had with Capri was parking. Having to shuttle back and forth the whole week was very inconvenient with little kids and cars seats. If you are traveling with more than one vehicle, DO NOT stay at Capri.

Greatest beach stay EVER

Our family was very cautious in picking a place for our first COVID vacation. We wanted a location that was somewhat isolated yet still close to restaurants and activities (if we felt comfortable going out). We found this location in Perdido Key to be absolutely perfect! The beach is perfect and was not busy at all. We never had anybody within 100 yards on either side of us. Getting to the beach is very easy thanks to the condo's 3rd floor location and direct route from it's private elevator foyer. The condo itself is stunning. Having 4 bedrooms with each having a king size bed and private bathroom was perfect for our 4 families that came together. The kitchen and wet bar were incredible and allowed us to have some great breakfasts before heading out to the beach each day. We found everything needed for meal preparation - anything from cutting boards to wine glasses are all provided in the condo. The proximity to Orange Beach/Gulf Shores and Pensacola Beach gives you plenty of options for entertainment. We went to Orange Beach most of the time because it's 10-20 minutes away. We went to Pensacola one night for a dolphin cruse and dinner. Pensacola Beach is only about 40 minutes away. We will definitely be renting this condo again in the future!

Girls trip 2021

Excellent! Condo was amazing!! We enjoyed this beautiful condo. We always say girls trip but in reality we are lifelong friends. 50+yrs of forever friendships. Everything was so clean and stocked with all you need!! Balcony time is our favorite after a day on the beach. Will definitely be back!!

Great property

Love that they upgraded some of the furniture, new washer/dryer, new microwave. Love the sanitized linens…hope they never go back. Pool needs resurfaced…I know they just survived a hurricane but it needed resurfaced 2 years ago. The walkway to the beach needs redone also. There were dirty tissues under the throw pillows on the couch and some mold on the shower curtains but we love this unit and this property! They were quick to send a repairman to fix the ice machine (needed to order a part so it’s not fixed yet)

Excellent Location

My family and I vacationed here on Spring Break. The condo exceeded our expectations! The property was undergoing some renovations, but we were very satisfied! We will hands down be back soon! The condo had everything we needed!

Beautiful Views

Gorgeous condo with all the amenities. We were there for a family vacation and appreciated the low density complex. Great location to restaurants, grocery stores and marina. We had no major complaints but I would note that the outdoor pool is not heated and the water was very cold. There is an indoor pool that is heated. The other issue is parking. Each unit is assigned one reserved space. There are only 8 additional parking spaces for a building with 14 units which sleep 10-12 people each. We didn't have a problem bc there weren't many ppl there during our stay. But it might cause you issues if you stayed during peak season. But overall, our entire family absolutely loved this condo and would rent it again.

Great place, amenities, very nice!

Overall love the condo. We had a small issue with a coffee maker and linens and those issues were handled by the staff in tops an hour. The condo is so nice, well equipped and very large. My only issue was that the WiFi was terrible. It continually dropped which wouldn’t be a big deal, but we had some work to do while down there and needed it. Not to mention it rained a bit so Netflix was a bust also. This went on all week. First world problem for sure, but for what it cost, it was irritating to be using my phone as a hotspot continually. Parking is a little bit of a pain, but it worked out. The amenities were great for the kids (indoor and outdoor pool, hot tub etc). The view from the condo was great, we loved all the balconies, and that every bedroom has its own bathroom! Huge win. I would rent again for sure. It’s great for big families or several couples. Ample room to spread out so your not in everyone’s business.

Awesome!

This place was AMAZING!!! It was so spacious and very comfortable. All of the furnishings and appliances are top of the line and the decorations were gorgeous. The beach was beautiful and a VERY short walk away. We enjoyed taking long walks and searching for seashells and starfish. We loved the patio and were able to see dolphins playing in the water and enjoyed watching the dive bombing pelicans from up there. The views and sunsets were so majestic. You can see miles of beach lines either way you looked. We also were lucky enough to see the Blue Angels fly over a couple of the days that we were there. The location was perfect. Close to restaurants, bars, gas stations, grocery stores and souvenir shops. A few places that we liked- Flori-bama for their bushwackers, and bingo which was very entertaining. Lillians for the food and a great happy hour. The Hangout for the food and atmosphere. Bills on the Beach for brunch. Alvins Island was great for souvenir shopping. Very affordable and so much to choose from. We had a wonderful trip and can't wait to go back. Luxury Coastal Vacations is the property management team and they were so easy and friendly to work with. Any questions we had they responding quickly with an answer. We will definitely book with them again.

My family recently returned from another wonderful stay in Perdido Key at Capri 302! Thanks to Charlene at Luxury Coastal Vacations who introduced me to this lovely unit several years ago, this is where we always hope to return in the future for our family beach vacation. The unit is beautifully decorated, well maintained, spacious, with great beds, bathrooms and offers quick and easy access to the beach! I am already thinking of booking soon for next year!

Capri was awesome!

After years of vacationing in Destin, FL, this was our first time to Perdido Key, FL. All seven of us agreed that the Capri was by far the best accommodations we have had on our trips to the beach. It was perfect in every way! The unit (302) was beautiful, clean, and well maintained. It's hard to find rentals that have great beds, and there were absolutely no complaints from any of us! The location was perfect with everything you need - pool, hot tub, beach rentals, grilling area. It has it all! Thank you for a great stay! We're already planning for next year.

Love the Capri!

We enjoy having a private bath for each bedroom. We love the spacious kitchen/dining/living/bar area. It is very accommodating and kept us all together. This was our third trip to the Capri with family and look forward to the fourth. It rained several days and the inside pool was a lifesaver for the grandchildren. A real plus!

A Perfect Vacation

Just returned home to Colorado from another wonderful vacation at Capri, Perdido Key, FL. This was my family's second visit to your amazing condo right on the beach. Your unit is exceptional in every way and is beautifully maintained, cleaned and represented by Luxury Coastal Vacations. Absolutely Wonderful

This place is amazing. We had a large group of 8 adults and 4 kids and had plenty of space. The pictures don't do justice to this unit although the one of the front deck makes it look larger than it actually is. Its a long walk to the beach from the pier and the steam room didn't work but that is where the negatives end. The beach was extremely private as we could often count the number of people with a 100 yards of us on two hands and there was rarely anyone else at the pool either. There is enough covered area at the pool to get out of the sun and enjoy the breeze. The unit was clean, spacious and darn near perfect. We certainly enjoyed the trip and will try to make a return trip.

Paradise in Perdido

This was our family's first year to stay at The Capri. The condo is exactly as stated in their photo review. There is wall to wall beach view in the huge main living room. It has a very open floor plan. There is tile throughout except carpet in all bedrooms. Most of the bedrooms also have a beach view and a balcony. It was tastefully decorated. The unit was spotless when we arrived. We have been coming to Perdido for the past 20 years and The Capri 302 is by far the nicest. Luxury Coastal was so helpful and friendly each time I called. They aim to please. They even let us check in early due to having. 2 tired toddlers. The only things I would change would be to add some muffin tins to the kitchen and to decrease the wattage in the bathroom fixtures . I also wish there was more parking but this place is Awsome. I plan to return again next year.

Family Vacation

Rating Details: I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. I was very happy with the location. The vacation rental was spotless. The property manager was very helpful. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our second year staying at this condo. It is such a beautiful condo with everything that you could ever want in it. You just can't beat the panoramic views in this condo! Our party included 5 adults and 3 small children. The condo gave us plenty of room to spread out. We never felt like we were overcrowded. This condo is so nice that we didn't mind that the weather wasn't great. We especially like that the building only has 14 units in it so you feel like you have the beach to yourself! We will definitely be staying here again!

Wonderful home away from home!

This condo is so well maintained (pics on website are accurate) and a true home away from home! This was our second year to rent this comfy and spacious condo for our family of 8, and we plan on making it an annual vacation! We love so many things about this condo: the nice furnishings; the panoramic view of the Gulf from the living room and master bedroom; the security features of the complex itself; and the fact that we can swim in the indoor pool if it's raining or we get sunburned! Also, since the complex has less than 20 units, neither the beach nor the pools or workout room were crowded during our stay. In addition, the Capri is centrally located, close to shopping and restaurants. The only drawback we found was the limited parking for our cars---one reserved parking space per condo, and we had 4 cars. The guests in another condo had 6 cars between them, so the overflow had to park close to the street beside the complex. However, we will put up with that inconvenience just to be able to stay in this wonderful condo #302! Charlene and Luxury Coastal Vacations, the rental agency, was a dream to deal with, and we would definitely recommend them to friends and family in the future. We enjoyed these nearby restaurants: Louisiana Lagniappe Restaurant in Orange Beach (more upscale), and the Oyster Bar Restaurant, the Shrimp Basket, and the Crab Shack (2 doors down) in Perdido Key (all very casual). Also, if you like pizza, we always love getting it from Lillian's, which is also in Perdido Key.

Family vacation

We had our family vacation there and it was so enjoyable and I would only change 1 thing and that would be more parking. That did stop me from leaving the condo to shop for fear I wouldn't have a place to park when I returned. But besides that we all really enjoyed the open floor plan.

25 years of great places - this was the best!

The Miele crew have been going to the Emerald Coast since 1986. Our youngest celebrated his 17th birthday in Florida for the 17th time. The place was amazing. Not one thing was overlooked. We will be back. After going to a different place each year, this will be a repeat location. We can't wait.

Life Saver

Originally we rented a house on Ono Island for the week or our stay. We we got there the house smelled like Mold and was unkept. I had looked at this unit and had wanted to stay here however, thought the house on Ono Island would suit us better. Boy, was I ever wrong!! Called the management company and they were great. This unit is awesome!. This unit is huge, and with the separation of the bedrooms it is perfect for families to come and feel private. Furnishings were top notch..luxury and comfort. Very clean and had everything and more that we could ask for. I felt very safe with all the access codes. LOVED LOVED LOVED it!!!! Would go and stay here again in a minute.

Oh what a fantastic property. We had a family reunion with part of the group in another unit. My grandkids did not want to leave and wanted their parents to turn the car around all the way to Houston. We have vacationed in many places but this is tops. We were comparing it to a wonderful home we rented in Puerto Adventuras Mexico and this unit and our experience exceded our expectations. All we needed was a Mexican cook and we may have never left. Thanks to Charlene and her team for a wonderful time. Hope to be back!!!! Tom and his crew.

AWESOME!!

Best family vacation ever! This unit truly exceeded our expectations! It was beautiful, clean, smelled fresh and clean, and very well maintained. The low key atmosphere of the Capri provided a very relaxing and enjoyable stay. We've vacationed in this area for several years, this unit and the services of Charlene and the staff of LCV are by far the best we've ever experienced, they go out of their way to ensure a wonderful vacation stay. I highly recommend both! We look forward to a return visit!
