A unique coastal living experience in harmony with nature. You will be mesmerized by the majestic Pacific oceanfront view, the spectacular sunsets, biodiversity and the endless ribbons of many beaches at 5 min. drive. It is a privilege to be a part of such grace and beauty.

Just before sunset, having a fresh drink on the terrace, you will religiously watch for the Green flash, and of course wish that time could be suspended, like a perezoso on a branch, for ever.

We assure your hospitality with our House Manager who will take care of you during your stay. English, French and Spanish spoken. Upon arrival in Ojochal, please consult our House Manager for tips and activities planning. Most of the attractions are within easy access. We firmly suggest a 4 wheels drive vehicle.

The property is nested on top of a hill, 450 feet above the sea level. It is a 5 min. drive up from the Costanera Highway #34. Very private, the villa is surrounded by 1 hectare of tropical forest with breathtaking oceanfront and mountain views. You will enjoy observing directly from the villa the jungle wildlife (Scarlet Macaw parrots, Toucans, White Faced monkeys, agouti.) In the past 8 years, we have planted an orchard of bananas, citrus, papayas, pineapples, ginger, cacao, herbs. Fresh fruits all year. A small path is directing down to a rancho from where you can observe nature and have picnics.

The villa modern Mediterranean influence is offering a 280 sq mt/3,000 sq ft living space, indoor/outdoor architectural concept. (See photos). Open plan kitchen, spacious dining and living areas facing the ocean. Cathedral ceilings with fans maintaining cool sea breeze.

The villa features 2 large bedrooms with oceanfront view, French doors opening onto wraparound terraces connecting to the infinity pool. Each master bedroom (Queen size bed) has its connecting bathroom, closet space, ceiling fan and air conditioning. We barely use AC, just 15 minutes suffice to cool down the room temperature.

The villa also consists of an office working space. Internet and Wi-Fi connections provided. Patiently, we are awaiting fiber optic service to ensure the consistency of Internet.

Infinity pool (3m Large X 8m Length/Depth 1.20m to 1.52m). Absolutely needs parental guidance for children.

Connecting to the villa, there is an other rancho overlooking the ocean. A relaxing area offering an outdoor kitchen area with charcoal BBQ.

Secure house with gates, safe parking lot, alarm system, safety boxes. Rates are including weekly cleaning service, electricity fees, pool maintenance, hosting arrangements.

How to get to Ojochal?
By vehicle:
Though roads are very accessible, a 4X4 vehicle is highly recommended. It takes approximately 3 hours' drive from Juan Santamaria Int. Airport San Jose to Ojochal. (Very good road conditions. Astonishing landscaping. Remember that sunset is around 6 P.M.)

Domestic flights: You have to verify the flight schedules. It changes according to seasons.
Daily 35 minutes domestic flights from Juan Santamaria Int. Airport San Jose to Palmar Sur or Quepos (consult Sansa Airline and Nature Air for flight schedules and rates).

Located 1KM from main Coastal Road La Costanera #34 makes it easy to reach Isla Garza, Playa Tortuga. Visit the Turtle Conservation Projects.

Astonishing beaches all along the coast. Minutes to meet the shore of the Pacific Coast. Access to Marine Parks for diving and snorkeling, wonderful touristic activities to fill your week's vacations.

We are few min. drive to excellent restaurants (see listing below) groceries stores, boutiques, liquor stores, markets offering daily arrival of local products (fishes, seafood, bread, pastries, cheeses, organic meat and vegetables). Foodies will be pleased.

In the nearest area of Uvita, you will also find other services such as ATM and banks, Wi-Fi Café, Spa, hairdresser, dental and medical clinics, pharmacy, best gourmet restaurants, local and international cuisine, bars. (See map at the bottom.)
