The fully-equipped villa located in a private residential area can sleep up to four people. Please note that a four-wheel drive vehicle is required to get to the property.

The place was amazing. The view was "fantastic" and the solitude of the property made it a perfect place to get away and relax. My wife and I absolutely loved our stay here. Hope to come back someday.

Simply Perfect

My partner and I couldn’t have enjoyed our stay more. The location was pristine, incredibly private, and the ocean view was absolutely breathtaking. The home itself was spotless and beautifully maintained. Check-in was seamless, and the hosts were exceptionally accommodating. We truly can’t say enough good things about our experience.

Magical. Morning coffee without a phone, surrounded by nature—heard howler monkeys and toucans, and saw countless birds, plus agouti, large group of coati, and leaf-cutter ants. You didn’t have to seek wildlife; it revealed itself if you simply watched.The drive in was …….an adventure. A larger SUV or truck would be better—the mountain road is unpaved, narrow, winding, with blind spots, and rough with pot holes / rocks —but manageable once you get used to it. Arrive before dark and stay on Rt 34 until Escaleras Rd (don’t follow Google shortcuts).The host was extremely responsive and very helpful with suggestions. This house was one of the highlights of the trip: incredibly peaceful with stunning views. Highly recommend.

Awesome view

If you planning to visit uvita and around a you need to stay at this place, view was awesome. Everything was perfect. You need a 4X4 to get there.

Honeymoon vacay

Home has the best view! We spent so much time on the deck by the pool. We saw lots of wildlife and birds during our stay. Location is near the top of the mountain and very secluded for people who want privacy. Home came with an equipped chicken and grill. Location is ideal for couples who plan to visit uvita and Dominical during their stay.

Serene Sanctuary

From the moment we stepped inside, we were greeted by breathtaking view of the jungle and the ocean and the soothing sounds of nature. Each morning we looked forward to waking up to the sounds of howler monkeys and a variety of birds. The ocean view and sunsets were simply spectacular, and the cleanliness and well-equipped kitchen made our stay effortless. The dipping pool added an extra layer of relaxation to our experience. Highly recommend this place.

Beautiful Property

This is a beautiful house with a breathtaking view that is definitely worth the price. The house is very well designed and offers all the amenities that you would need. The outdoors is also great, we loved spending our days on the terrace and in the pool. Even though the house is in nature we felt safe at all times. I would highly recommend this house to anyone looking for an unforgettable experience in Costa Rica.

This property is amazing. The check in/out process was fiawless. The host and caretaker so helpful and very easy to get in touch with if needed. Zero issues. The most wildlife we seen in our 9 day visit to Costa Rica was sitting right on the deck. The infinity pool was such a plus. We had Toucans and Kaoti’s visited us daily. We seen macaws and monkeys right down the road at himosa beach. The road to get to house is just as expected when you’re visiting such a beautiful ocean view property. Just take it slow and you will be just fine. Thank you Reberta and John for such an amazing experience

The View!

Google Maps worked very well for directions. You get used to the roads in the mountains after a bit. It should NOT deter you from staying at the property. We want to rerun and the view was breathtaking. Beautiful, unique stay. Thank you!

Beautiful home

Beautiful home, yard and patio. Saw tons of humming birds, a few toucans, and an abundance of other birds. There is also a family of coatis living on the edge of the property that would come out in the yard on occasion. Even got a visit from a white-tailed deer one morning. The home is well stocked with dishes, utensils, towels, etc. and the patio was our favorite place to hang out, both in the morning and evening. Owner and property manager were both very responsive during our stay.

We would love to live here, forever…

Fantastic stay! Great communication before and during stay with quick responses. Everything you need is there and great quality. If you love nature you can’t beat this location. From the deck and lawn we saw: Tucan’s, hummingbirds, tropical turkeys! Many many other birds. Little wild pigs, ferret/badger, deer, etc. Total privacy, ocean and jungle views to die for! We highly recommend a stay here and would want to return. This would be ideal for a honeymoon or anniversary. Thank you so very much!

Simply amazing!

Uvita and Dominical are very special and this home will not disappoint. The home is absolutely gorgeous and had everything we needed. The property is vers secure, private and daily demonstrated some of the most beautiful sunsets and wildlife interactions I have ever had. Minor disconnects between online and onsite management instructions, but these were readily addressed. A 4x4 is a must have and you must allow 20 min each way when traveling to/from the home from the main road. I definitely recommend this property for a quiet and romantic getaway!

Beautiful property - Need 4 wheel drive

The property is well described. There is a fantastic 180 view, privacy, and a huge lot/yard. Kitchen is well stocked with equipment. Dual sinks in master bath is nice. Description says you will go to your property in 4X4. It needs to say, you will not be allowed on the property if you are not driving a 4X4. You will be stopped at the gate. Important detail. The roads are okay for 2X4 if in perfect conditions, but you will need a 4X4 to get out if there is any rain. The drive up is just base a coffee shop and bar/restaurant so you dont have to go all the way to town. It is worth the drive for the view and privacy.

Stunning Location

I can’t say enough about this place. The pictures posted are by no means an exaggeration or doctored. No, they are in fact under selling the beauty of this house and property. For two people this is the place to stay. It is super close to both Utiva and Dominical, so there are options for food, groceries, and other supplies. The only thing to know before booking this place is that a 4x4 vehicle is required! The host will tell you that on pre-arrival instructions but know it ahead of time before renting your vehicle. This is not a recommendation, it is a requirement to get to the house. Trust me! Sitting out on the terrace everyday, sipping on coffee, looking out over the ocean and watching the abundant wildlife only feet away was incredible. For my wife and I, this will be a repeat visit with no question about it.

Stunning Views

We stayed for a week after Christmas. The house was clean, and very well equipped. They even had lanterns in case of outages (which it flickered 2x and that was it) night lights, yoga mats, cards, flashlights, extra blankets, waters, you name it. The custom wood designs all over the house from the bed to the kitchen table were so beautiful. Woke up each morning To birds galore, howler monkeys in the distance, butterflies, and a stunning view of the ocean. It rained a lot but when the clouds opened - wow! John checked up on us on Monday, check in was easy as we came in the evening. We planned each day out so the 20 minute drive up and down each day was not an issue. It felt like an adventure. Perfect size for a couple, plunge pool is a nice touch, big bed (says queen but felt like a King) ample outside seating to enjoy morning coffee. It was a good distance between towns of Uvita and Domincal to explore all the areas. One way to Nauyaca one way to whales tail and Uvita falls, playa hermosa, Santa Lucia falls tour, and dinners in Uvita. We loved it!

Heavenly spot for a relaxing vacation

This gorgeous property is exactly as it is portrayed in the listing. It is modern, clean and thoughtfully designed and outfitted with bespoke furnishings and cabinetry. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering. Set in beautifully maintained gardens, the villa is very private - neither overlooked nor do you see any of the neighbouring properties. The view from the deck is breathtaking and because you are in the tree canopy, the bird and wildlife viewing is amazing. The road up from the coastal highway is rough and can be slow, especially if there are heavy vehicles making the climb. A 4X4 is essential. We enjoyed the terrace and the plunge pool and found we only wanted to go down to Uvita or Dominical and the beaches every every two or three days. Communication with the owner was prompt and helpful. The local representative provided a warm welcome and orientation and was available if we needed anything. We were very sad to leave at the end of our time.
