Great stay, well-equipped house. We cooked several dinners and the kitchen had all the necessities. Heating was also really nice with the room-by-room temp control. Beds were comfy, and good places for sitting around the house. Location was very convenient for visiting with my family in Belfast. Quick/easy communication with owner was also a plus. We would definitely stay here again!

Great House in Searsport

The house was perfect for grandparents, parents, AND kiddos. Everything is all on one level, plenty of space for everyone. The house is bright and clean, with easy walkable access to a lovely quiet beach. Jason was extremely communicative and available. Would certainly stay again!

All three generations of our family who stayed at the Heart Rock House had a fabulous time. We loved the house and the beach. The house had everything we needed and it was incredible to have a beach mostly to ourselves each day! We loved looking for sea glass, exploring the tide pools, paddle boarding (we brought ours), and swimming. We also loved watching all the various birds including osprey, hawks, eagles, loons and more. Ending the day with dinner from the grill and then a fire with smores, was perfect.

This was an outstanding property. The house was clean and beautifully decorated with exceptional attention to detail. The bathrooms were modern and efficient and the beds extremely comfortable. The kitchen was superbly equipped. We enjoyed the peace and quiet walking along the private beach at the end of the garden and enjoyed visiting some of the pretty towns in the local vicinity. A terrific rental and extremely helpful hosts.

Wonderful location.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The location is great for exploring the area and for enjoying a peaceful walk on the beach. The home is very nice and very comfortable. Jason was wonderful and made sure that everything was taken care of so the we would have a great experience. I would highly recommend a stay here and would stay again if in the area.

Coastal Maine Convenience

Beautiful, Comfortable Home

We had a great stay in this lovely home. We stayed for our daughters wedding at Moose Point State park, and the location was so convenient, just a couple minutes and we were there! The big windows let in so mush light gave us a lovely view of the gardens wildflowers

We had a wonderful weekend at the Heart Rock Cottage. Perfect location for visiting with our family in Belfast and skiing at the Camden Snow Bowl. This house was perfectly located, clean, and well appointed. I was so comfortable there and loved the extra blankets, coffee left for me, and the water pressure in the shower! The neighborhood was quiet and there is a short path down to the huge beautiful private beach where I watched the sunset. Loved it, will be back.

Stunning Cottage

My wife and I stayed here three nights and were blown away by the beauty and attention to details of the place. Everything was clean, comfortable, convenient, and well thought out. The host was friendly and welcoming and the check in process was very easy. The beds were comfortableā€”as was everything else, and the beach, which was just a short walk away, was amazing. I highly recommend this place. I told the host it was one of the nicest vacation homes weā€™ve ever stayed in.

Great stay!

Everything was exactly as said and better! Beach was a quick walk and private. Having so much supplied for our stay made it much easier and less stressful when we packed the car. The owner was very quick in responding. I would stay again for sure! Thank you so much for making our first VRBO stay perfect!

Perfect little house!

My mother and her 4 adult daughters on an annual winter get away! We loved the house and all the amenities. The location was perfect! We were hoping to go to Rioā€™s for dinner but it was closed so we went to the Homeport Tavern and loved it! Wonderful visit wonderful host!! Elisabeth

Amazing vacation

Canā€™t say enough about our stay. The house was so modern and clean and plenty of space for my family of 4. The pics of the beach doesnā€™t do it justice for the real thing. Steps away and so secluded and relaxing. The location of the house was great too, so close to cute towns of Belfast and Camden. Also not far from Bar Harbor and Acadia! Perfect family vacation and we hope to come back again one day.

Excellent location for exploring mid-coast Maine

We stayed here with our three kids, ages 7 and 16. The proximity to the private beach was a huge selling point and it didnā€™t disappoint. At low tide there is an expansive beach that has all kinds of treasures. Bar Harbor is about an hour away and going down to Camden and other mid-coast towns was an easy drive. The house was well equipped and made for a very enjoyable and relaxing stay. Beds were comfortable and we really enjoyed cooking in the kitchen. Thank you for a great family vacation spot!

Nice to meet you! Weā€™re the Miller family - Chrissy, Jason, Makaria & Calla. Growing up, Jason and I admired from afar those special Maine spots that provided a respite from the hustle & bustle of daily life - ā€œupta campā€ getaways where folks gathered for family fun. Itā€™s long been our dream to acquire a home near the ocean, but with Maineā€™s sought-after coastline, we wondered if that dream could become a reality. In November of 2020, this darling Searsport ranch presented itself to us as an opportunity to make a move on bringing our vision to fruition. Built in 1980 and without updates since its inception, these digs needed some TLC, but the idea of a cozy, colorful cottage was easy to imagine, and it was love at first sight. After seeing the house for the first time, we all took a walk down to the beach and moments after doing so, what did we find? A heart-shaped rock - something our family spends countless hours doing whenever we find our feet in the sand. Like a nod from the cosmos, this was confirmation that we were in the right place! Since that day, weā€™ve poured our love into this home, refreshing, revamping & restoring every detail. The end result is a modern, fully-equipped happy house that serves as a beautiful backdrop for making memories. We hope you enjoy your stay at the Heart Rock House - it means so much to us to have this peaceful place for our family and yours!
