🏖️ BEACH SERVICES: Beach services at the Resorts of Pelican Beach are provided by La Dolce Vita (866-651-1869). Hours are 9 am to 5 pm from March 1st through October 31st. All beach services are managed by La Dolce Vita under agreement with the Pelican Beach Resort Owners' Association. Policies are applicable to all guests and owners of the resort. Beach setups may be rented directly on the beach on the day of, based on availability. To reserve a beach setup in advance or for more information, please call 866-651-1869 or reserve online.

This rental is located on floor 3.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Great location and AMAZING view of the Gulf- we got to see dolphins right from the balcony!! We loved the pools and easy beach access. The condo was great- had everything we needed to make it a memorable family vacation!

Birthday Getaway

I loved the location of the Condo. We were able to sit on the deck and enjoy the sound of the waves while drinking our morning coffee as well as at night. Everything you need is in the condo including beach chairs. They thought of everything, We will definitely book again.

We had a wonderful stay at pelican beach resort! Being on the 3rd floor was super convenient when using the busy elevators. The view was amazing! Condo is on the small side, but was perfect for my husband and I!

Spring Hreak

First time using Vacasa. Was a great experience from start to finish. Lots of communication and follow up. Actually let us in the room early without requesting. We have stayed at Pelican many times before. Always a great property and location.

The view was amazing - but that’s about all I can say that was good. The furniture was old and falling apart. The couch was extremely uncomfortable and dirty. It is a white cloth couch that has seen much better days. One of the legs to the sitting chair is breaking and we ended up putting it up where no one would sit on it for fear of it breaking when someone was sitting in it. The rocking chair is old and gets stuck when rocking. There is exposed wood at the bottom of the chair, my kids and I got scrapes from it. The master bed is held up with 2x4s, is an old uncomfortable mattress that squeaks anytime you move ever so slightly. The lights are dim and it is hard to see even with all the lamps and overhead light on. The hair dryer was completely broken and the heating element was exposed - we had to put in a ticket with the management company. The coffee pot didn’t work, another ticket to management. There were multiple light bulbs burned out. The ceiling in the master bath is coming down, the trim is falling off in the hall. The floors are not cleaned very well - I recommend bringing socks or slippers to walk around the condo - my children’s feet were almost black the first night we stayed there. We put in tickets with the management company and it was over 24 hours before the concerns could be addressed - they brought a new coffee pot and hair dryer and replaced the light bulbs. I am a coffee drinker and had to buy my own pot until they replaced theirs.

Great Condo- hard to get beach chairs

We had a great time over all. The condo was just as listed and clean. It was perfect for my husband and I and our two little ones especially booking last minute. Be sure to bring your condiments/seasoning/paper towels/trash bags because they do not supply that as some do. The condo’s balcony is right over another pool they are building so when it’s done it’ll be a great view! The only thing I was let down with was the beach service situation. The closest we could get was the 5th row back-and I was at the stand at 7am to book. He said the first 4 rows are booked months in advance and front row is typically booked by people a YEAR in advance. I’ve never seemed to have an issue at other places getting chairs sitting right at the water/in front and I make 3 beach trips a year. Set-ups are about 8ft apart all the way across and all the way back. They stack them in and there’s a sign that you can’t set up your own anywhere other than behind all rows at the back of the sand. Maybe they’ll figure out a better way to do things and make it a first come first serve as you arrive since many of the reserved chairs weren’t even occupied! It was a big bummer to sit way back not by the water... but we still managed to have a good time. Probably won’t stay here again unless they change their chair situation.

Would Not Recommend

I chose this property because we were looking for an affordable condo on the beach that would fit our family of 5. It seemed to have great reviews but I’m wondering if those reviews were real bc we def did not have that experience. On a positive note, Check-in process was seamless and could have even checked in early, view from the balcony was lovely. Now on to the negatives. We arrived around 9pm and immediately realized there was no bedding for the couch bed and sand in one of the bunk beds. I texted Vacasa and no reply so I went to the front desk and they said to call Vacasa. I texted again and this time received a reply to “check everywhere for the bedding” this texting went on for 2 hours, and even on till the next day. The existing bedding on every bed consisted of 2 paper thin sheets so we covered up with our beach towels. The next day Vacasa told us to go to Walmart and buy the bedding we needed as there was no one to service our condo!!The hot water tank will only fill the tub about halfway before running out. The couch was FILTHY, terribly stained. Not fit for sitting or sleeping. Bunk bed ladder had a broken rail. I wish I could submit pics, just lots of little things that looked old, broken etc…. Main bed is very uncomfortable and squeaky. AC unit works but drips loudly and constantly. Overall I would rate the condo 6/10, it def needs some repairs, but unfortunately the non-existent Vacasa customer service was a 0/10. Would not recommend or ever rent from Vacasa.

Run far and do not look back

Never in 15 years have I ever left a bad review with VRBO - REVIEWS ARE NOT ACCURATE The air conditioner was not working after around 20 texts 20 phone calls a visit with HOA then Having to threaten with legal Action was there finally someone there to fix the air absolutely ridiculous I have pictures of everything I am stating and the air got up to almost 90° after driving eight hours to get there that’s what we had to sleep offered us a day and a half refund And the air conditioner was not turned on until around 5 o’clock. The next day that was good compared to the bugs in the bed. One woke me up in the middle of the night crawling on me. I was scared to death to catch lice. Obviously they were bedbugs , the furniture was absolutely filthy. There was a hair in the shower which that happens but still gross. The pantry light-oven light outside light were all burnt out icemaker did not work. normally takes 9 to 12 minutes to bake cookies took 25 -the microwave didn’t work properly -bed was absolutely hard as a rock. Some people may like that but we just bought a Stearns and foster at home so we not used to sleeping on cement- outside patio light which I like to have light on at night it was hanging by a string again have pictures of everything stated It was absolutely gross and report it to who? took an act of Congress to get the air on why would I think this would get fixed never again. I requested owner to contact me. Never did. do not rent !!!
