Featuring two bedrooms and two bathrooms, this family-friendly retreat is perfect for families and groups alike. Enjoy alfresco meals on the furnished deck. Gather around the fireplace in the living room and watch a favorite show on the flatscreen TV with cable. Fancy a quieter evening? Grab any of the books available, snuggle up on the sofa with your favorite blanket, and get lost in your book. The well-appointed kitchen is complete with stainless steel appliances and a Keurig coffee maker in addition to the required drip coffee maker. Additional amenities include a washer/dryer on-site, iron, ironing board, and a second fireplace in the lakeside main bedroom.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Glen Arbor Getaway

We had a great long weekend at this lovely condo. Very comfortable and well equipped with everything you might need. Would highly recommend a stay here for anyone visiting the Glen Arbor area.

Great location, great view

This place worked perfect for our family of 5. It's very close to Sleeping Bear Dunes and has a great view of the dunes and sunsets. It was better in person than in the photos. The only minor downside is that the bathrooms are very small so you have to shimmy around the door to get to the shower. But the vanities are outside of the toilet/shower area, so there's plenty of room there.

Amazing view, perfect location

This is a great property. Spacious--plenty of room for my family of 5. Gorgeous sunsets. Perfectly located with easy access to all the things you will need and want to do in Sleeping Bear Dunes.

Nice Unit, Great Views

This unit was tastefully decorated and offered stunning lake views. Easy access, very few stairs. Kitchen was nicely done and stocked. We came up for fall color and hiking.

The condo was very nice. It was clean and comfortable. The view of Lake Michigan was super as were the sunsets. The only draw backs were the dryer that didn't work and took 5 days to fix and not having a handrail for the stairs. Very scary to use with an elderly husband. Don't believe that is up to code.

Beware of Intruders

The unit itself was "just right". Great location and view. My husband and I did experience 2 intruders on our last day however. They entered using the keypad door and it was quite a shock. I felt extremely vulnerable and unsafe as there was no way to secure either entry from the inside. The experience was expressed via several emails to Vacasa with no satisfactory response.

Everything was terrific. Until we were awaken at 1 pm in the middle of the night by a piercing noice coming from the floor where the heat came from. It would not stop until we turned the heat off. We were not able to figure out why but every time we turned the heat on at 70 degrees the noise started again. Master bedroom so needless to say we were cold most of the night as the temperature was in the low 50’s.

Nice view

The unit was comfortable, beds were comfortable, plenty of dishes, well decorated. The floors in the living room and bathroom weren’t that clean. Initially it looked clean but after sitting down in the living room there were small acorn pieces in the carpet and the floors in bathroom didn’t look like they had been moped. The view was great and it was quiet. Had to text, call numerous times to get a small bar of bath soap. We only had one mini bar in one of the bathrooms. It took 2 days to get an additional bar. One clothes hanger in the closet. The managing agency is local but you are speaking to someone who knows where. They always say please let us know anything we can do to help but they are not responsive when you ask for something. We have been here before and we had an issue and the managing agency was more responsive. I would stay here again because the lake view and quiet location were the most important things to me.

The place is absolutely terrific. But can't give it five stars.

It's a beautiful condo at the Homestead. If it were a private owner, I'd stay there again. in a second. Instead you have to deal with a third party, Vacasa, with less than a sterling reputation. Go ahead, check them out. If VRBO wants more of my business, please let me know that i have to deal with a third party so i can avoid them before booking. We checked in to a condo that was 64° degrees inside. There was no thermostat except in the two bedroom s. The heating unit in the master bedroom made an awful sound so we could not use it. I contacted Vacasa and they were no help. I think I actually heard the woman shrug.. The temperature eventually warmed to 67° before we left. The condo has a coffee maker but no coffee filters. This is basic stuff! We bought some #4 Melitta filters and left some for the next renter Again, it's a great condo. I don't need the extra expense of another middleman trying to get their share of what are already crazy fees. VRBO, you get a lot of business from me, but, you will get less if I have to deal with 3rd parties

Perfect size and pretty view of sunsets.

Loved seeing the nightly sunsets. Couldn’t easily get to the lake, river or bridge unless you walked (which was more of a walk than anticipated). Up close parking to the water was permit only and does not come with this rental (which we knew up front, but did not quite understand that if affects your access to the lake and River).
