This lower-level condo is located right on the shores of Lake Michigan, offering unparalleled views of the water and beautiful surrounding nature. The lakeside deck will be the perfect spot to admire said views. It's also equipped with an outdoor dining table for four.

The light and cheery main floor living room provides guests with incredible lake views, direct deck access, a smart TV with Netflix, and a fireplace. The snuggly and large sofa is ideal for Netflix marathons! The dining area is complete with a six-person dining table and also great views. The well-appointed kitchen has been equipped with every appliance and cookware needed to surprise your guests with delicious meals and finger foods. Additional appliances include a Keurig and drip coffee maker. There is a second living area downstairs, featuring slides to the deck and access to the beach. This living room is also equipped with a TV and a mini-fridge plus a sink.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

This place is great! You can’t beat the location and the unit is larger than it looks in the photos. Tons of space for three generations to spread out. Two living spaces is a nice bonus.

Condo needs remodeling badly

Carpet gross, beds old and uncomfortable. Refrigerator small. Outdoor table seats 4 people yet the condo sleeps a ton of people.

Beautiful beach location!

We've stayed here twice now and it's all about having the beach right there! Waking up to views of the Manitou Islands and Sleeping Bear Bay is the best! We loved being able to walk down to the beach whenever we wanted!

Lake Michigan hideaway

This condo checked all the boxes for our girls’ weekend. The Lake Michigan views are outstanding. So are the walks on the beach. The condo is very comfortable and the location is perfect for exploring the peninsula.

Great Home.

Stayed with our kids and the in-laws. Plenty of room to spread out and having laundry in the home was very convenient. The walk to the beach out the back door is just a few steps away and it's a great view. Would definitely stay again.

Wonderful family getaway

Had a marvelous time! So spacious, room for my 3 adult sons and their guests. Nice to all be together but have some privacy if needed. Highly recommend the Homestead for its perfect location!

Absolutely beautiful!!

This condo was beautiful! The view of Lake Michigan was amazing! I gave it a four because the description did not state there were stairs to climb to get into the condo.

Beautiful location but mediocre accommodations

Great sunset views and access to a semi-private beach. The units need some maintenance inside and out. Furniture and carpet is worn and beds are just adequate. Plenty of linens and dishes, but pans and baking supplies need to be replaced.

Great location with easy access to the lake. The condo was in ok shape. Furniture was dated, but needs some updating. The kichen is small and only one coffee maker out of the three worked.

Last minute booking

The condo I originally booked cancelled my reservation the day before we were to arrive, so this booking was made the at the last minute. So, virtually no communication was made with the property manager. We were just happy to find something to accomodate our group of 6 adults and 3 babies that day! We enjoyed our stay very much!

Needs a lot of work!

We stayed in this condo for a long weekend with extended family. It has significant cleanliness issues including a hole in the ceiling, mouse infestation, dirty dishes and dishwasher and dirty carpets. Instructions on how to use the television were nonexistent and we could not get it to work. This condo definitely needs some attention and love.

Great location but the condo is in bad shape

Location on the beach and lake views was gorgeous. However, the condo was dirty and generally worn out. The beds were horribly uncomfortable. The gnats were unbearable in the kitchen and upstairs bathrooms. The fridge in the basement was broken. I notified Vacasa and was told we’d hear from someone locally, but never did hear anything.

Outstanding access to Sleeping Bear Bay

We had such a lovely mid-September stay here! The location right on Sleeping Bear Bay just north of Glen Arbor is second to none! The many windows looking out on the lake was a highlight. The beach is a very short walk from the patio door. The condo is spacious and comfortable. It was probably more room than we needed, but the off-season pricing made it worth it. Despite being part of a building with several other units, it felt very quiet and peaceful this time of year. Overall, we had an excellent experience! We really appreciated the “hotel” type experience with this being a Leelenau Vacation Rentals managed property. They provided basic linens and towels and a few other essentials, and we had minimal cleaning to do upon check out. Their staff was also very kind and helpful when we communicated over the phone before our stay. We would seek out a property managed by them in the future! Other perks: The internet and TV worked great with easy instructions. There is a wood burning fireplace, but we didn’t use it on our stay. The deck has a nice outdoor table and chairs to enjoy. There is a foot wash on the main boardwalk next to the building for sandy feet coming up from the beach. Here are a few nit picky things that may be helpful to know about this property (but didn’t detract from our overall positive experience!): The dishwasher may not work very well because we found bits of dried-on food on the dishes in the cupboards. We hand-washed things before we used them. This property may have been empty for a bit before we got there, because we had to banish a few spiders. Most pillows we found were pretty flat, so you may want to bring your own. This condo has radiant baseboard heating which we did end up using on the cool nights. All heaters are clearly labeled with instructions that they get hot to the touch and to keep all objects at least 4” away. When we arrived we found beds and bedding pushed up against the heaters, which made us uncomfortable, so we moved them over a few inches to allow space. This rental made for a great little autumn vacation spot! We would rebook if we come back to the area in the future!

Beautiful location

Fabulous views of Lake Michigan. Wonderful location for exploring the Leelanlau peninsula. The condo was a bit dated & worn out.
