Our condo, Unit 172, has GREAT views of the beach! We are less than 75 yards to the beach. View the Gulf of Mexico while sitting on the Living Room sofa! Listen to the waves as you drift off to sleep! It is conveniently located between the beach and the pool. View the Gulf of Mexico from the sofa or enjoy the views & breeze on the lanai with comfortable seating for 6.
New tiled walk in showers in Guest Bath & Primary Bath! Adjustable Shower Bar in Guest bath for children. Photos coming soon! Built in seat in primary shower.

Kitchen is very well stocked with plenty of dinnerware and cooking utensils including a crock pot. Blender and a Smoothie maker for a refreshing drink. Extra ice bins in the freezer. The FlexBrew coffeemaker allows you to brew a carafe of coffee or use K Cups.

Our beach cart, beach chairs, and cooler on wheels make a day at the beach a breeze! NEW - Beach tent with super easy pop up available to our guests.
Plenty of beach toys, shell nets, and some fishing gear. We have a new shell cleaning station along the beach path. Check out the new courtyard seating close to the beach. The Sanibel Inn Tiki bar is a very short walk down the beach to enjoy your favorite tropical drink.

New grills are located between Buildings 1 & 2. We have new Tennis & Pickle ball courts. Pickle ball paddles on loan available at the clubhouse. There are 2 public golf courses nearby.

Great condo for 2 couples traveling together or a family of 5 or 6. Guest bedroom features a Queen and a Twin bed. Master bedroom features a King bed. Private bathrooms for each bedroom. Queen Sleeper sofa in the living room.
Listen to the waves from this beautiful gulf view condo just steps from the beach! Enjoy plentiful shelling on this world famous beach. Sanibel is the place to go if you want to unwind and get away from it all. Watch the dolphins playing in the surf or the many tropical birds as they stroll by your beach chair.

Our condo at Loggerhead Cay offers great views of the beach from Building 1 which is one of the few buildings on the island this close to the beach! Located between the pool and the beach you can keep an eye on the entire family from the lanai. The large heated pool offers plenty of seating, umbrellas, and a patio area with tables and umbrellas for an afternoon snack. This condo offers easy access to the beach and pool and is located near the elevator and stairs. Bike racks and kayak racks are provided.
Reserved parking is located near the unit with guest parking nearby.
24/7 Answering service for any concerns. The lock is a key code. An additional deadbolt is provided for added security & privacy.

Rarely is a rental better than the photos, but this one was. I would definitely rent again. We loved our two week stay. It is a very comfortable place.

We loved our stay! So nice to be back to Sanibel after the hurricane. It has a great location, wonderful view from the lanai, and is both comfortable and tastefully decorated. We were able to easily cook with the cookware provided. The only basic things we needed to buy were cooking oil, seasoning, and shampoo. The storage locker was very helpful as it had beach chairs and umbrellas we could use for a family of four. Our packet from the Management company received at check-in did not include check-out instructions so just be sure to clarify those as needed. We would definitely stay again!

Great Condo and Location

We loved our stay. It was our first return to Sanibel since Ian and we were so happy to be back. The condo is a perfect location and in excellent condition. The only issue we had was with communication from the rental agency. They would text us to move our car due to some construction issues at the building, but wait until mid day when we had often already left the condo. They also once told me I was parked in the wrong spot- which was wrong. I had to visit the association office to find out the rental agency had texted the wrong renter. (A condo with a number close to ours was parked in the wrong spot- not me) As rebuilding concludes this will be a non issue I am sure.

Great accommodations for family of 5

This condo has an amazing location in the building nearest the beach, and a beautiful gulf view. The condo was very clean, and the kitchen had everything I needed to make meals. The condo complex was perfect for my teens- they loved the pool and pickle ball courts. Great beach week!

No amenities spared

We stayed for two weeks. Other condos that we rented in the past were booked, so we were glad to find such a nice one. The location within the complex is ideal, just steps from both the swimming pool and the beach. The condo itself is nicely decorated and updated. The owner has found a way to provide everything that a renter could want, including quite an array of kitchen appliances and tools. We loved the little touches as well, such as automatic nightlights in the bathrooms. The owner was very responsive to small questions we had, and is eager to be sure that her guests needs are met quickly and efficiently. We enthusiastically booked our two weeks for next year!

Relaxing Stay

This condo is well appointed and has comfortable beds. The lanai was great for enjoying the warm weather. The gulf is visible from the lanai and from the condo. We rented bikes. You can bike in many directions from here. Watch for the manatees in the canal across the street. Communication with the owner was great. We are going back next year. This will be the first time that we have stayed in the same place on Sanibel two years in a row.

Lovely getaway

What a beautiful gulf view from the balcony of this lovely condo!It was wonderful to wake to the sunrise each morning. The condo is clean and very nicely decorated. Check in was easy, and communication with the owner and rental agent was responsive. We recommend this unit!

Nice condo on the beach.

Condo with a beach and gulf view. A quick and easy short walk to the beach. Kitchen had enough dishes/utensils/pans for use. Beds were comfortable. The place was clean. The owner was informative about the area. The check in and check out was easy. There is a lot to do on the island. The beach is clean and the water was clear. We enjoyed our stay.

Perfect spot for a relaxing week.

This two bedroom felt bigger. We loved the layout and the screened in porch added to our comfort. Great views and a short walk to the beach and the pool. If you enjoy hunting for shells you won’t be disappointed. We drove out to Captiva several times for lunch and I would recommend it. The traffic seems worse that it truly is. There are traffic control cops keeping everything moving at the busiest times of the day and it really works. You can also avoid the main road a lot of the time from this location. My wife and I would strongly recommend this condo to any of our friends.

A great family vacation

We enjoyed everything about our stay here! The unit was very clean, had everything we needed (loved that it has a Crock-Pot!), and the decor was so lovely. Perfect spot in relation to the beach and pool. Debbie was very easy to reach and quick to respond. The pool and grounds are wonderful as well. We can't wait to come back!!!

Location was perfect. Condo is excellent. Great view and great shelling. Beach was not packed. Made for a relaxing time. Easy access on and off the island. Owner was super helpful. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Loggerhead Cay - amazing vacation!

We waited so long and found what looked like the perfect beach vacation- and it was. Perfect short walk to the beach- clean pool- quiet community! Inside was clean and very spacious. Plenty of room for our family of 5 which includes two very grown teenage boys. We loved the condo and the location. We did not want to leave and would love to go back!

Wonderful vacation rental

The condo was lovely and had the most perfect location! It is one of the closest buildings to the beach with a beautiful ocean view and is also very very close to the pool. The unit was clean and decorated well. It was so nice having the storage closet so no sandy items had to come into the unit and it was stocked well with everything we needed for our trip! The owners sent a very detailed and helpful email prior to our visit with wonderful suggestions of activities and restaurants! We trekked several of their recommendations and they were all a hit! The kitchen was pretty well stocked but my one suggestion would be to add a cookie sheet (there were none). Other than that we had all the pots/pans/dishes we could need! We loved sanibel and would absolutely stay here again! Thanks for a lovely vacation!

Great views of the Gulf!

We loved this property- we lived on the screened in patio with the fabulous view of the gulf. We stayed in this area almost the entire time we were in the condo. The main rooms are all generously sized and more than enough for 2 people. The bathrooms are small and a bit outdated but everything else was great!

Perfect Relaxing Getaway

The property was exactly what I was seeking- I spent my morning before the preteen and teen got up on the lanai with my coffee, feet up, listening to the waves, or going for an early morning walk along the beach. We spent half our days at the beach shelling and hanging in the calm shallow warm waters just steps away from the condo and the other half split between Lighthouse Point beach and Manasota Key Beach (hunting for Shark teeth). The complex has a great pool that was large enough to stay socially distant and still enjoy some swimming time away from the sand. The Condo had a nice big kitchen with a refrigerator with an ice maker with a double catch bin so plenty of ice all week- even a slow cooker and a brownie pan- which we made use of! and a great washer and dryer for cleaning the saltwater out of your bathing suits and towels. There are plenty of books if you run out and some games and puzzles. Additionally, the storage unit was filled with fun treasures for hanging at the beach- sand toys, cooler, chairs, fishing supplies, umbrellas, and the super important beach cart for getting everything there and back. We brought most of our food, but we did dine out (outside seating) at Island Cow and had some fabulous Crunchy Grouper Tacos. We also ordered take out Pizza and Pasta Alfredo from Dante's Pizza (7 min walk from the condo) and a DQ treat one night. The only thing that would have made it better for the kids was if the TVs were smart tvs and we could have accessed our Amazon Prime/ Hulu/ Netflix accounts to watch some movies at night. If you are like us and not cable/ real-time TV watchers- remember to bring your Roku.

Fantastic Views!!

Fantastic views! You can see the gulf and pool from porch. Quality bedroom furniture and mattress and very clean condo. Comfortable living room furniture with views of Gulf from living room too. Commercial grade BBQ’s and pool was refreshing in the afternoon . Owner was wonderful to work with and provided great information about places to eat and the island in general. Loggerhead condos are in great location of island near the causeway with nearby restaurants, shopping etc. We have visited Sanibel for many years, and have stayed at various locations and are very happy we found this unit and are rebooking for next year.

Loggerhead continues to be a family friendly well maintained complex. After all these years it still takes my breath away when I walk into the condo and look at the view of the beach.
