Our family of 15 spent a wonderful week in the Virginia Beach house in late July 2025. Lots of room for everyone. Having the elevator handy was very useful after food shopping (kitchen is on the 3rd floor). Having a very large table that could seat all of us at once was great for our family dinners and playing games together.Everyone loved the pool with the outdoor TV and waterfall and the easy access to the beach. The owner was VERY responsive when we had any questions during our stay. I would highly recommend it!

Perfect family gathering

We have been returning to this house for 15 years as our family grows through three generations. Fantastic owners make sure every need is accommodated. You can't get closer to the beach. Best part of the day is watching the dolphins from the top deck.

Great property for a large gathering!

We had an absolutely wonderful, memorable Memorial Day weekend staying at this property and are now hoping to make it an annual event! We had 9 adults and 10 kids (ranging from 6 months to 9 years old) and we had plenty of room. Despite rainy and windy weather, we enjoyed our time together and appreciated the attention to detail with amenities that the owners provide - from baby gear to board games to video games to puzzles. There is so much to do in this house, even when the weather isn't the best. We loved the property and will be back!

Beach Thanksgiving

The location was 5 star! There’s a private walkway to the beach from the house, beautiful views of the ocean, close to shopping and restaurants. The house has plenty of room to spread out. Grandkids spent time playing pool and ping pong. Everyone had their own bedrooms and baths! The house changed ownership when we moved in and my brief interaction with new owner Justin was pleasant and I think the dated furnishings may be upgraded, which it does need. We enjoyed our Thanksgiving week there and would return!

Family vacation

We loved our vacation. The house was as beautiful as the pictures. When we arrived the owner called to make sure everything was ok and told us to call with any questions. A very nice touch. There were 21 of us on this vacation and the house had no problem accommodating the group. We ate at home most nights and loved that we could all sit together. The only reason we would stay at another location is because we had such a great experience we now have more family members who want to join in next year.

Anything anyone could ever want in a vacation home!

This vacation property is stunning, and clean. Amazing views and everything in this house is so well thought out for guests. Genuinely couldn’t find fault with anything, and the hosts were so fast to get back with answers to any questions. Definitely worth staying here, and can honestly say one of the best properties ever stayed at. Absolutely wonderful.

Great Time and location

Justin and Hillary were quickly available as we had a smoke detector that sounded with a chirp and then corrected it. Property had all items as stated and with location on ocean we did use Windex to clean a couple windows.

Exceptional

Our stay at the property was exceptional in every way! The house is much more beautiful than is evident by the online photos. We celebrated our 45th wedding anniversary with family members and close friends (nine adults & four kids ages 1 to 4) and we could not have asked for a better venue. The view was specular with the added benefit of morning views of dolphins. The toys, games and kids "stuff" was well above what is provided at typical short term rentals. The kitchen is very well stocked. And the owners were very attentive and responsive. My rating is 10+ out of 10. I look forward to a return visit in the future.

Location is perfect!

This property is worth going for the location alone! The new owners are making upgrades and other changes which don't reflect in the pictures or description yet. The beds will be fewer but I believe the overall comfort of the place will feel more like a home. I would guess most households have Alexa, double appliances, ...and all the modern conveniences these days, but usually VRBOs go cheap with these things and you just get location and miss your home in a short amount of time. This VRBO gives you almost everything you have at home plus a sunrise over the ocean that you can see from the bedroom on the 2nd floor, anywhere on the 3rd floor, or on your private deck or walkway. Once you get over the amazement of that, get ready to watch the dolphins play!

Retirement/Family Reunion

Our family had the BEST time during our long weekend. The house was gorgeous and fun for all of our family members, from young kids to wheelchair bound grandparents. The decor was bright and modern and the views were incredible. We all enjoyed watching the sun rise over the ocean each morning, thankful for this time together since we have been spread apart from Florida to Ohio. Justin and Hillary were extremely attentive to our needs and kept in communication with us throughout our stay. They were wonderful hosts and we appreciated their considerations for our family.

Amazing house!!!

We had 20 people ages 2-80 staying here. We used every square inch of the house. There are tons of games, great tv's, huge dining room table, and we could walk on the beach, use the hot tub, etc. The kitchen has enough dishes for an army. They were low on appliances like a mixer, so I asked and they delivered one within 24 hours. The kitchen has no spices or basic food stuff (due to covid I am sure) so bring your spice rack and stuff, but everything else is like wow!

Great beachfront place!

We loved this place for our whole family getting together from out of town. Driveway fits 6 cars, and there is a small lot right at the end of the street for others. A few small things needed attention when we arrived and owner promptly took care of them. The vista views are amazing and the binoculars provided us with even better dolphin sightings. It has a very well stocked in kitchen and lots of extras in and around cabinets/cupboards.

Amazing Location

Really enjoyed the place at croatan beach. The beach adjacent location couldn't be better and the dining room in particular has one of the best views I've ever seen in VAB. The place is clean and well maintained and the host is very responsive. Only surprise was that basic amenities like dish soap, garbage bags, salt, pepper and many of the things one would expect in high end rental were not there so make sure to bring everything you need. Would definitely stay there again though, perfect for a large family get together.

Oceanfront Paradise

The house and the description on VRBO matched perfectly! The quiet beach and our personal access to the beach was an absolute pleasure. We were lucky enough to have a dolphin show almost every day from the upper floor! We noticed a few things that needed attention and the owners were there in moments and took care of all our concerns. It is a marvelous house and location. We plan on returning next year.

Annual Family fun vacation

For the past 20 years my wife and I have been taking our three siblings their spouses and our seven grandchildren of fifteen on summer vacations from Ft Lauderdale, Nags Head, Cape Cod, Lake George, and wells Me. In all that time we have rented homes large enough to accommodate us under one roof in order that we get to enjoy one another with limited use of cell phones and emails. The valentine home we rented on Virginia beach was exceptional in every way. Extremely clean, right on the water, enough living conditions to satisfy everyone. I would not hesitate to rent this property again when we return to Virginia beach. We had a minor problem getting into the internet upon arrival. We called the property owner who showed up within minutes and solved the problem. Needless to say I was impressed and appreciative for Dr. Valentine (the Owner) taking it upon himself to answer our call.

Our names are Justin and Hillary. We purchased the Atlantis property in November 2021 and are very excited to expand upon its potential while maintaining the excellent history of stellar customer service it is known for.

Justin is a self made entrepreneur working in the sports memorabilia industry. Hillary owns her own business in the maternal and postpartum health industry. We both enjoy the freedom and happiness working in our respective passion fields has brought.

We have one son who loves soccer, piano, and all the outdoor adventure our area has to offer. We are also a foster family and often have an extra kiddo or two along for the ride.

Oceanfront house, overlooking the beach and ocean from the living room/3rd floor deck and also a sundeck on a private sand dune walkway. This is perfect for multiple families to stay together, large dining table to sit together for dinners. The house has a baby grand piano, wet bar and outdoor hot tub. The house is well stocked (has most everything you will find in normal homes) and decorated like upscale homes. The previous owner built this house with high quality materials such as granite countertops, granite floor and stairway. The house has 4 master suite bedrooms.

The houses are located in high-end residential subdivision "Croatan Beach" on the last street on the coastline. While the area is very quiet and safe for children to walk to the Croatan beach, it is also very close to the Virginia Beach boardwalk if you are looking for lots of activities with it being only 1.5 miles from the house.
