Exclusive - Sunset Point - Lake Wentworth home with generous dock and expansive lawn. Enjoy a quiet morning by the lake away from it all as you live just steps from the lake shore. Vivid unobstructed sunsets abound.

This classic lake home faces west with stunning views of Lake Wentworth and the mountains beyond. The spectacular lakeside setting is the perfect place for swimming, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, and all sorts of water activities. Relax on the swim raft, or head out on your boat to enjoy the lake. Pontoon boat rentals from Melvin Village Marine - book early. Fishing on Wentworth is a favorite pastime and the lake is known for its Smallmouth Bass. Bring your boat and come right up to the generous dock. Included in the rental is use of the kayaks and there is a fishing boat and paddle board available for rent.

The main home has three bedrooms and a loft. The master hosts a queen bed, with en suite master bath with a heated floor, while and the second large bedroom has a queen bed and a full bed. The third bedroom has two queen beds and a full bed in the loft which is great for kids. There are 6 separate beds in 3.5 sleeping areas and rentals are limited to 10 guests.

Honeymoon Hall: An additional bedroom with Ethan Allen queen bed and full bed with basic bathroom and shower allows for 2-4 extra guests for a maximum of 12 total. Private deck and beautiful french doors look out to the lawn and the lake beyond. A cute place to get away from the chaos of vacation.

For larger groups - An additional 2 bedroom house for 6 people may be available and booked on VRBO as listing #3082890 or by contacting the owner with this listing. Maximum 18 guests.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a stove, double oven, microwave, generously sized refrigerator, cookware, and utensils. There is also a gas grill on the porch. The oversized glass sliders and bay window provide wonderful views from the great room and the large enclosed porch connects you with the outdoors with added seating for big dinner gatherings.

A wood stove set in the fireplace helps set the mood for relaxation and country living on a cool night, but fast cable internet and WIFI are available for your evening enjoyment. A fire pit is available by the lake for you to sit in the evening and cook S'mores and if you happen to have a cloudy day, a 65 inch QLED TV is there for your enjoyment.

Optional: Paddle Boards, sunfish sailboat, fishing boat

The lake itself is about five by three miles with many islands and a nature preserve, Stamp Act Island, in the middle. It is known for its tranquility and the superb water quality, perfect for a peaceful vacation. Just a few minutes from downtown Wolfeboro, the house is close to shopping, fine dining and casual restaurants, golf, walking/hiking trails, museums, and all the activities provided by Lake Winnipesauke and the Lakes Region, yet away from the noise and crowds of the bigger lake.

This location is just beautiful! The host is very accommodating and was very prompt with an issue that was clearly out of his control. We had a great time and the house was perfect. Plenty of space and was very well stocked. Great location beautiful views and close to everything.

Family Getaway

The house was perfect for a family getaway with a few adults and a toddler and newborn. Great common spaces, comfortable bedrooms, beautiful view of the lake and great property for outdoor activities. Host was very communicative and accommodating.

Beautiful Respite from a Fast-Paced World

Thank you to Daniel for sharing his family's incredible house with our family! We had a lovely time with three generations celebrating our parents' 50th wedding anniversary. The sunsets were even more gorgeous than the description and the house had everything we needed and more. Everyone enjoyed their stay and we all fell in love with Lake Wentworth. We had a fantastic week in your home. The dock was the hit of the week, my grandchildren could not get enough fishing in. The setting of the home is beautiful, the sunsets are spectacular. We spent many nights at the firepit and had "smores" and made great family memories.

Another Great Long Weekend

The property is gorgeousā€”right on the lake with easy access to it. There are lots of games to play on the lawn and inside for those chilly and/or rainy days. The kitchen is stocked with all the essentials and the space is clean and just as described in the listing. The owners are very friendly and very quick to respond to any inquiries. Daniel was great responding to any questions we had. The house had everything we needed to cook once we went grocery shopping. The house has a beautiful view of the lake. We fished and swam from the dock. Overall great experience

Three generations of Family fun

I loved the property as did everyone. The grounds were flat a plus. The lake was clean. Great for kayaking and swimming. Most time spent at dock also fire pit was a plus. We would all like a return stay. Time went by too fast. šŸ˜ž

Nice place with very nice view and clean water, Dock could use some work. It had many loose boards and the under structure was rotted so screws would not tighten.

Best Location on the Lake!

My family has been coming to Lake Wentworth for years. It is one of our favorite vacations. This newer property to the rental market is perfect! This property has the best location on the lake. The view are gorgeous, especially sunset! We loved sitting on this huge dock overlooking the water. It was perfect for fishing or lounging. The lake is crystal clear. The yard of the home is large and green. plenty of space for kid or adults to run around. The inside of the home is spacious, even the kitchen (which was fully stocked!). The bedrooms were spacious and the mattresses were comfy. Plenty of room for visitors to spread out. On cooler nights the 3 season porch is perfect for meals while looking at the water. Home owners were easy to work with. We did not have any problems or issues while visiting. We will definitely be coming back this summer!

Beautiful Lake House with Great Amenities!

My family and I stayed at this property over Labor Day weekend, and it was just so amazing. Besides the obviousā€”a big home on a beautiful lakeā€”the property has a spacious lawn with soft grass, complete with a volleyball/badminton net and other fun games like soccer and croquet that my 7-year-old son really enjoyed. We especially loved the fire pit where we roasted marshmallows and looked up at the millions of stars you can see in the absence of city lights. We rented the small motor boat, and my husband and father-in-law enjoyed taking it out to fish and just enjoying the sights along the lake. It was so nice to be able to walk right onto the dock from the house and plop a fishing line right in (bass, bluegill, catfish!) or walk down the convenient stairs right into the water for a swim. The water was so clear and refreshing for swimming, and we also enjoyed taking the kayaks out for a paddle. The house itself was spacious and clean. The kitchen was huge, which made cooking a breeze, and it was so nice to have a grill and a large porch where we were able to look out onto the lake without the inconvenience of all the bugs at dinner time! The house was also well stocked with board games, and now my sonā€™s new favorite game is Monopoly Cheaterā€™s Edition (for better or for worse!) šŸ˜… The owners are so pleasant and very available and responsive. We enjoyed our stay so much and hope to be back in the future! It is a gem.

Perfect Lake House Rental for Family Retreat

Stayed at Sunset Point for a long weekend with my extended family. Loved the house, especially the location! Lots of space for a large group. Three large bedrooms with plenty of room for everyone plus a separate one bedroom cabin. Clean bathrooms and spacious kitchen. Plenty of space for large dinners with the family. We used the screen porch for dinner one night. It sat all 8 of us. Our favorite part of this rental was the beautiful waterfront. Great sunset and a nice fire-pit for sitting around and relaxing at night. Large lawn for kids to play yard games or adults to play volleyball or croquet. Big dock for jumping into the water with a nice stairs available for older or younger crowd. Already booked for a longer vacation this summer.
