Loved staying here. It was perfect for a 3 day getaway and could walk everywhere. 3 min walk at the most to the beach. I will rent here again!!

Best location in Folly, quick walk to the beach, restaurant/bars, and shops. Highly recommend a couple staying at this location.

Small but more than adequate

Small but nicely appointed apartment. It is very centrally located, can be loud give the proximity to Center street. Great to bar hop, but not the spot if you want something quiet.

Thought it had an outside balcony but not correct. Instruction for check out was to take out trash. No location to put the trash. Also difficult to find. Was confused with the instructions. Small but very clean and well maintained.

Folley Beach

We enjoyed the area. The location of the condo is great. On the VRBO listing it washer/dryer. There is no washer/dryer. Upon entering the condo there was a binder on table. We could not access the wifi. I sent a note to the contact in the binder. She responded that she has not owned the condo for a few years. No one from the office replied to me since it was after hours but I expected a call on Friday AM. The area outside the condo is very dirty & has trash everywhere. There is also a broken rusty pipe sticking up out of the ground - very hard to see at night due to insufficient lighting in parking lot & on stairs. For all the fees & taxes you pay (more than the actual rent almost) you would think the area would be a little cleaner.

Anniversary Getaway Weekend

Location of this condo was Premo-O! A short block-and-a-half to the pier and beach. Condo was upstairs over a beach shop and across the street form a popular bar. Bar was loud music until late into the night, but we are night people too so it didn't bother us. Was thankful for the parking spot out back, because parking is a premium in Folly Beach. BTW - website doesn't say anything about coffee pot, but there was a Keurig on the counter. There are also 2 coffee shops within a block either direction. We had an issue with rain water leaking in through the french doors and called the maintenance number - they were on it and solved the problem within a couple hours. The beach is beautiful, clean, and has a life guard. There are showers under the pier to clean off the sand. We happened to go before school was back in session, so the beach was pretty crowded on Saturday. On Friday, it was plenty of room and very pleasant. Lots of good places to eat and hang with live music. This was a last-minute quickie trip we made for our anniversary. We had a great time and likely come back again to this same location.

Welcome to the absolute Heart of Folly Beach! Center Street is where everything happens, and this condo is ideally located close to everything. This second-story condo allows you to walk to every restaurant, shop, and watering hole this eclectic beach town offers. Beach access is a block away; once you park, you can leave your car for your entire stay. Pack your bags for a hair down, toes up relaxing beach getaway! Located across the street from Taco Boy (a great, local restaurant), this condo has one bedroom, one bath, a full kitchen, Flat Screen TVs, WiFi, and central heat/air. The kitchen has a fridge/freezer, electric stove, drip coffee maker, and no dishwasher - perfect for a stay on Center Street lined with Folly's most incredible restaurants and bars. A note on parking: While this condo has a designated space and we mark it as a private space, sometimes folks snag it. If that is the case, temporarily park elsewhere until they leave and then park. We try to be accommodating neighbors and prefer not to tow, but if it is a consistent issue, let us know. Folly is strict about street parking, so make sure you park in designated areas with all four tires off the road.

You get a New Orleans-type feeling from this spot, a great place to experience all the sights and sounds Folly has to offer. While this condo doesn't have an in-unit washer/dryer, West Hudson Laundromat is a 3-minute walk.
