Beach with your children without ever crossing the street. The ranch was partially remodeled in 2013 including hardwood floors throughout. All furniture in the ranch is new as of 2013. The bathroom was completely remodeled in 2014, and kitchen remodeled in 2018. New flat screen TV cable/DVD/wireless internet. New efficiency dish washer and full-size washer and dryer. Deck off queen bedroom, outdoor shower, gas grill, picnic table, beach chairs for the beach, etc. The Town of Dennis has some of the finest restaurants, golfing and fishing on Cape Cod for you to enjoy.

This is our third year returning to this property and we love it! We would not stay anywhere else. The location cannot be beat and the property itself offers wonderful amenities. It is a perfect spot for a family of four to enjoy a vacation on the Cape.

Amazing location with very short walk with access to both the windy/wavey beach and a small inlet that was perfect for our younger kids - crabs, fish, shallow calm water as deeper water too. The property was small but had the space for what we needed and for a family of 4 with younger kids.

Amazing location!

We had a great time in this amazing location! We loved the short walk to the beach and river and felt safe and secure off the busy road. My kids loved crabbing and wading out to the big sandbar on the river side. The house is small but was perfect for our family of 4. Communication with the host was fast and he helped us resolve a small issue with the shower right away.

My family spent our summer vacation at this property for 18 years, with the previous owner. This was our first return trip since Joe & Colleen purchased the property. Theyā€™ve made some great upgrades - my favorite being the addition of the washer and dryer! And as it was years ago, the location is perfect! Especially with tiny humans! Bringing our grandchildren here was a full circle moment and we made memories weā€™ll treasure forever. Joe was great at responding to questions & concerns and we will definitely be looking to return next year!

Great family rental

We had a lovely stay in this adorable cottage just a short walk away from a little-kid friendly beach. Clean and convenient it was just what we were looking for. When not at the beach, it was quick to get to shopping, sights, and restaurants but the neighborhood was nice and quiet.

Fabulous location

With a beach just a short walk down the street, the location is ideal. The owners were proactive communicators and very easy to work with. We would gladly return to this rental.

Great Visit

We had a great visit to the Cape Cod cottage. It was a great location, allowing easy access to South Village Beach, Sundae School, the Ocean House restaurant, and everything the Cape has to offer. Communication with the owner was easy and prompt. Thank you for a wonderful summer vacation!

A wonderful stay!

We had a wonderful stay at this Cape Cottage, our family enjoyed the proximity to the beach and restaurants. Joe and Colleen were great hosts and took the time to send us their favorite recommendations in the area, which we referred to the whole week! Ardeo and Ocean House restaurants were delicious. I will say it was the hottest week of the summer so far, we knew we were staying in a cottage with no A/C. The fans helped at night but if you have young babies it gets very hot during the day! Thanks for a great stay.

Fantastic stay

This clean & breezy cottage is delightful and especially suited for young families. Thoughtfully stocked with necessities, such as laundry detergent & toilet paper. The neighborhood is surprisingly quiet at night & the proximity to the beach canā€™t be beat. Communication with Joe was practically instantaneous & very helpful. Highly recommended!

Cute cottage

This cute cottage was the perfect size for the three of us.. The space had mainly anything you would need for a comfortable stay.. the deck and outdoor shower were neat and having several beach chairs already on the property for visitors to use was great!! It was a short walk to the beach where the kids enjoyed crabbing and fishing and could go to and from independently.. that was a definite plus šŸ‘

Perfect getaway to our favorite beach

Weā€™ve been coming to the cape with our three kids for years and this is one of my favorite rentals so far. Clean, airy and bright, and so close to the beach, we just walked back and forth for lunch, bathroom and all that. You are definitely sharing a back yard with the adjoining neighbors, but it was never a problem for us at all. We had our own picnic table and little deck. Would stay here again!

Excellent Beach Cottage!

This cottage is completely updated with newly renovated kitchen and bath. All the amenities including flatscreen tv, WIFI, washer & dryer, dishwasher, sheets, towels, etc. nice deck and the key feature is walking distance to both ocean and river beaches! One of the best spots on the Cape! Joe was extremely accommodating and made sure we had all that we needed and were comfortable. Looking forward to returning summer ā€˜20!!

Great place to stay on the cape

Very well maintained two bedroom. It has everything you need (except AC). You can't stay much closer to the beach, and you don't cross any streets to get to the beach. You have an option to swim in the sea with waves or in the flat water salt water river with tidal currents (great for kids). Joe is extremely accessible, accommodating and responsive. He went out of his way to come and extend the wifi signal. Thank you!

Loved it!

This would be our 7th year staying in the neighborhood. My two boys wonā€™t go anywhere else. The house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. With the windows open there was no need for air conditioning. Having a washer and dryer was an added plus. The keyless door entry helped so much. My teenage boys were out and about all day. I would definitely stay here again.

perfect for a family of four

The cottage was perfect for our family (2 adults, 2 children ages 13 and 11). It is located close to the ocean beach. We also were able to drive to Mayflower Beach twice during our week long stay (about 20 minutes away). The cottage had everything we needed (washer/dryer, dishwasher, bedding/sheets/even beach towels, beach chairs and sand toys). Since Dennis Port is in the middle of the Cape, driving to other places was easy (an hour or less). We were nervous about "sharing" a house (another rental is located within the same building) but we NEVER saw or heard the renters next door. It was very quiet and peaceful. We are looking forward to coming back next year.

Wonderful!

This property is perfect for families looking to have a great Cape Cod vacation. The location cannot be beat! The property is very close to the beach which is especially convenient if you have small children. The owners provide linens, towels, and some basic everyday items that you might need during your stay. For example, our daughter needed a triple A battery and there was a pack right in the drawer! It saved us a trip to the store and we did not need to buy a whole pack. It was so helpful. There is a washer and dryer and an outdoor shower- all of which make things so much easier. This is our second time staying here and we would not stay anywhere else. We hope to be back next summer!!

Family Fun Getaway

We enjoyed our stay at the 2 bedroom ranch immensely! The ranch house was cozy and spotless with all the amenities we needed. Comfy beds, chairs and couch - our teen adored her own room with bunk bed. Used the washer and dryer and dishwasher- made it all so convenient. West Dennis is the perfect place to stay on the Cape - easy to get to everything. Joe was very responsive and gave superb recommendations for dining and activities. South Village Beach was a few minutes walk - wonderful little beach. Our teen even swam in the 61 degree ocean! Beach chairs, toys and towels included. Also fantastic to be able to have an extra parking spot to host family for the day. Loved the outside shower. Candle pin bowling, miniature golf, Cape Cod Baseball League, Whydah Pirate Museum, and Dolphin Fleet Whale Watch out of Provincetown (saw fin whales and pod of 9 humpbacks - lots of tails and 4 breaches!). Plenty to do rain or shine. Best Steamers, Lobster Rolls, and Clam Chowder - Sesuit Harbor Cafe. We had such a wonderful stay and enjoyed kicking back and relaxing at our home away from home. Everything as advertised- but so much more! We look forward to returning to this well-loved vacation home. Thanks Joe and Colleen.

Another amazing stay 2nd year in a row

It's telling that we came back a second year in a row and again what a great fit for our family. Not a big spot but perfect for two adults and two boys ages 8 and 5, so close to the beach and this year the owner updated the beach chairs as well. Best part about this area by the swan River is the lazy River and the swan River Creek where the boys are obsessed with catching Little critters and just a few feet away is the open Beach. Long as our family still fits in the place comfortably, we will be renting again!

Place to be on a hot week

The house is clean and compact and had everything we needed and the floor plan gave us plenty of space. The ceiling fans worked well even though it was a warmer -than-usual week. The kitchen was well-equipped and functional. It was a short walk to the beach which was very convenient and allowed us easily to make several trips a day. We enjoyed walking around the pleasant neighborhood. The houses are close together but it was very quiet and it was easy to sleep We would love to come back another year.

Wonderful property

The property is in an excellent location. We loved being able to walk to the beach in just a few short minutes. We would walk to the beach a couple times a day sometimes. The cottage itself was very clean and updated. Amenities such as a dishwasher and washer/dryer made our vacation even more enjoyable. Not having to bring all our own linens and towels was also a big plus. We will definitely be back!
