Welcome to our "Midcentury Modern Mountain" cabin in Grand Lake! This "square log" cabin was built in 1972, and we wanted to keep that 70's vibe going with a mountain modern touch! Remodeled in 2022, this 3BR/2BA getaway has amazing views of Shadow Mountain Lake, with Baldy Peak nestled above. We also offer a game room to make your Grand Lake experience indoors, ALMOST as memorable as your experience outdoors!

* Please note, after booking this cabin will be referred to as the "3BR/2BA Midcentury Modern Mountain Cabin" in any email prompts you receive.

* Remodeled in 2022, a midcentury modern vibe with mountain touches!

* A great 3BR/2BA layout and over 2200 square feet of living space!

* Country, mountain location, but less than a mile from the entrance to Grand Lake!

* Views! Not only of Baldy Peak and Shadow Mountain Lake, but we have lots of wildlife to view from our floor to head height living room windows!

* Ping pong, Arcade, and Foosball entertainment with TV's streaming at 1200 MBPS!

* Hot tub!

* 2 King beds, a twin over full bunk bed with twin size trundle that pulls out, and two futons that fold out into full size beds!

* Pack-n-play for those little vacationers!

* For those booking with pets: After your booking, reach out to me to declare your pet(s) I will then charge the card you booked with, the $125 taxable pet fee.

*Please note: Transactions are done through a 3rd party, therefore cancellations that are eligible for a refund through VRBO will still be charged a credit card transaction fee of 3.5% of the booking amount.

We had a great stay in Grand Lake at this charming cabin. It was perfectly cleaned when we arrived and check-in was as simple as possible: quick and easy. Our boys loved the game room and soaking in the hot tub. The kitchen had everything we needed and was well stocked. Highly recommend this unique 70s get away!

Overall the home was very nice. Well equipped with everything we needed. A few things to note, the home is pretty old and with that you have lots of sloping, uneven floors and the stairs are very steep. The main shower upstairs is tiny, you stand above the shower rod which made it awkward to shower. The downstairs shower grout could be cleaned a little better. And may be time to replace the area rugs. Just little things bit would have made my rating higher if it weren’t for those things. We still had a great time and made lots of great memories.

The windows in the bedrooms we very rickety and difficult to maneuver , the hand crank really needs to be replaced .. and a screen that fits over it so you do not have to remove the screen everytime you open the window . I e porch and enjoyed hot tub although we had to adjust the chemicals to get it sparkle clean .the owner /host sent someone immediately when we took the cover off and saw it was dirty …Kitchen pretty well stocked ..ice maker not so great ,and a better can opener would be helpful just fyi . House has a lot of stairs ,not a problem for us but might be for some . Shower heads need to be cleaned out …ceiling fans could use a good cleaning too . Small things but would make my review a better score

Holiday Stay

Well equipped with good views. The game room in the basement was a big hit. Comfortable space for 6 people. Ice maker didn't work. Suggest having ice trays available as backup. Several of the windows didn't have screens and were difficult to open and close. Some WD40 on the bedroom doors would help keep the noise down at night. Overall a very pleasant stay.

Grand lake gem!

My husband and I planned a last minute vacation to Grand Lake and found Cam on VRBO. He gave us options for places to stay with our limited dates and we chose this cabin. We are so glad we did. It was spotless, cozy, close to town and had beautiful views. Perfect for our dogs too with plenty of space to roam. Cam relied quickly with any questions we had. We would definitely go back!

Lovely cabin

The mid century cabin is a very quiet place to stay! Close proximity to downtown Grand Lake! Lovely deck to sit on in the morning/evening! We enjoyed our stay!

Wonderful Grand Lake Cabin!

This property was perfect for our family! The cabin is close enough to drive to town within 5 minutes and also still far enough away to enjoy the quiet of the mountains and stunning views of the lake. The cabin was incredibly clean, spacious for our entire family and the game room was such a fun bonus for our weekend. I would recommend this cabin to anyone. The owner was responsive and so wonderful to work with!

Lake Visit

We brought our boat with us to enjoy the mountain lakes near this VRBO. The house was well decorated and maintained, and had a great updated cabin vibe. We really appreciated the availability of a trailer parking spot. A few other perks are the comfy beds, basement game room and of course the hot tub. Thanks for a great stay Cam!

Amazing weekend!

We had so much fun! We were worried about the weather because of course this weekend was extremely cold and snowy but everything was perfect. Super easy to find and access. The cabin was so warm and cozy in every room which was much appreciated when the high was -6. Snow removal was a concern but they did a pretty good job keeping the neighborhood/ driveway plowed with the 20+ inches of snow we got this weekend. The hot tub was so great to have. The views were stunning in every direction. The game room was fully stocked with board games and a 60 in 1 Pac-Man arcade that my husband had to pry me from a few times. Even my dogs had so much fun. I would definitely recommend staying here even in crazy abnormal Colorado weather!

Excellent mountain cabin

We enjoyed beautiful mountain views in about every direction and especially from the hot tub after our hiking excursions in the area. Loved the feel of being outside of town ye5 convenience of being only a mile away. The home was everything we wanted and the owner superbly responsive with any questions we had. Clean, and well designed for a family. Also enjoyed the game room downstairs.

Relax in Grand Lake

The cabin was perfect for the 2 of us. The front porch and side porch have views through the trees of Grand Lake, Shadow Mountain Lake, and surrounding mountains with views of Mount Craig (Baldy). Sitting on the porch with coffee in the morning and in the evening was a daily activity. Great base into Grand Lake and into Rocky Mountain National Park. Comfortable cabin, clean. We will be back.

Great birthday weekend on the lake

Beautiful property with everything you could want for a group getaway. The space is great for a group to hang out while making meals, playing games, and catching up. The balconies are awesome with great views of the lake.

Howdy! We are Cam and Emily, and we hope you enjoy our home! A little about ourselves... Cam dabbles in several different businesses. He is a real estate investor, both in long term rentals and vacation rentals, and he also owns his own personal training business. His hobbies include flying, hunting big game, snowmobiling, dirt biking, off-roading, working out, volunteering in kid's ministry in church and anything outdoors with Emily and their 2 puppies. Emily works for an interior design company, and helps clients design their finishes in their newly built homes. In her free time she enjoys working out, hiking, playing volleyball, and spending time with the dogs (and Cam of course!). We have fallen in love with Grand Lake, and hope that our guests come to love it here as much as we do!

This cabin has such a unique vibe that you won't find elsewhere. It's got the midcentury retro vibe combined with some modern, and a touch of mountain. The location is amazing, located on a quiet country road, yet so close to town (shopping, dining etc) amenities. And then there are the views of Baldy Peak and Shadow Mountain Lake...

The layout of this cabin makes any stay so comfortable. Roomy enough to have the whole family (and more) together, yet spacious enough to get some alone time with a great book (or playing arcade!).
