Goods: Great proximity to Wisp for skiing (2 minute drive). Beautiful view of the lake and the mountains. House was adequately stocked, with the bare essentials for cooking meals. Good space for entertaining and plenty of space upstairs. The pool and hot tub were a nice perk as well.Bad: On arrival, the kitchen had a strong odor, the beds were uncomfortable (master BR mattress specifically), couches could use some cleaning, and consideration should be given to purchasing some kind of mats for the entry way for safety. The floor was very slippery.

Vacation 2025

The lake was right at our fingertips! We thoroughly enjoyed it. The only thing I will say is that the living room needs an ottomanā€¦seating for 5 people watching TV during rainy weather was difficult. The only other thing is I would suggest better deck furniture. Close proximity to everything and we had an enjoyable time!

Place was really nice! Had everything necessary for a great stay and a lot of space!! Deck was nice and loved that it was a corner unit! Decent amount of parking as well. Only downfall - we were looking forward to using the indoor pool (actually one of the main reasons we chose this place) and unfortunately the pool was closed for refinishing. Definitely not the owners fault but wish we were told ahead of time!

Multi-generational family stayed for a family wedding at Chanteclaire Farm. The location was perfect. The sunken family room was a challenge with 2 one year olds who kept trying to climb the stairs to the kitchen when we were trying to prepare food. Overall we enjoyed our stay at the house. We felt there were a few items missing from the kitchen - pot holders, cooking spray and garbage bags would have been nice to have. There was only 1 roll of TP in the each if the 3 bathrooms. It would have been nice to have some extra rolls. Other than those few items, everything else was great!

Beautiful house and excellent location right in the Lake. We all enjoyed coffee on the deck and relaxing on the little sand beach right outside our door. Owner was great and quick to respond to questions and all information provided ahead of time for a smooth check in and out process. Will definitely stay here again!!

Absolutely a fantastic location. Plenty of beds for 10 guest. And it does have a washer and dryer. This information isnā€™t in the description and we packed way too many clothes

Location

This townhouse is in a perfect location along the lake. The house was clean and comfortable. The big deck was a wonderful area for relaxing. Instructions need to be provided in the book for the house for the key to the pool - the numbers were not legible making access to that area not possible. Overall, a very nice place and we would definitely stay again.

Ski weekend

Spent two days skiing at Wisp. House was comfortable, accommodated two families (4 adults, 4 kids age 8 to 15), was very conveniently located to the mountain (<1 mile drive), and had a great view of the mountain and the lake. We will certainly consier renting again.

Perfect location

Great size and space for our group! Loved the views from the back deck and how quiet the neighborhood was. Also loved how close it is to Wisp, as that is where we spent the bulk of our time. Great location for shopping as well. The fireplace was perfect for a few cold nights we had. The pool was great for the kids in the evenings. It could have been a bit cleaner. I did wipe down the bathrooms because they were not super clean and I ran the vacuum because the floor was dirty. I would recommend a few more kitchen towels. I will say the rental office was super helpful and the staff was very kind. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and had a nice time!

Needs updates

We stayed here for the Thanksgiving holiday, group was 4 adults and 4 children. Place was definitely too small for this group-our mistake. Let me start off with the cleanliness-the floors were absolutely horrible, they looked like they had never been mopped a day ever. And all the comforters on the beds were dirty looking. We didnā€™t use any of them. Second, there are two tubs in the house but neither one holds water to take a bath. We had 4 toddlers and were not able to give any of them a bath, very frustrating. Third, we rented here specifically because they had a year round indoor pool. All the kids were so excited only to get there and find out the pool was out of order. Very disappointing,especially with cold weather and not much to do outside. Lastly the kitchen needs a pair of scissors and an updated can opener. Also, just fyi there are mouse traps everywhere and our toddler children almost got hurt grabbing them off the floor.

Managing Company not helpful

I was not planing on giving a review. I just wanted to put this in the past. However, the managing company gave me a review. In order to see it, I need to provide a review. Previous comments are accurate, floors were dirty, there was garbage in the kitchen trashcan, coffee mugs were dirty, the upstairs hall restroom toilet wasn't flushed, couches smelled like dog. We brought our own linens, silverware, and paper plates. Smoke alarms/Carbon Monoxide detector went off at midnight the last night of our stay. We couldn't find a source of fire. I called the managing company twice and selected their "emergency" option, no one answered. First time it got "disconnected". I left a voice mail. We decided to leave in the middle of the night since we didn't feel confortable staying until the morning. It wasn't a pleasant experience to drive through those mountains in the rain in the middle of the night. A week after our stay, no one has contacted me to talk about the incident. I guess this is a review to the Management Company. Keep in mind it is one of the two major property management companies in Deep Creek. This is the reason why I didn't want to give a review. Location is good and my son enjoyed the pool.
