Great bnb accommodation for a golf trip! Plenty of room for everyone to sleep, cook and mingle after dinners! Hot tub was a nice addition! Had one issue that was addressed immediately by the host. Would definitely recommend and stay again! Thanks!

We had an amazing stay. The property was perfect and comfortable. The host was very responsive and made sure we had anything we needed. The kids loved the bunk bed room and they all hated to leave. Highly recommend staying here!

The place presented well overall and was very clean. The downstairs bathroom operates on a pump system and was a bit odd. Beds were comfortable. Linens were soft and in every bathroom. The kitchen was well stocked. The one downside is that we ran out of propane for the BBQ on the Saturday night and the spare tank was empty too. The host indicated in a previous a conversation that they could have filled it, but it was 8pm Saturday night... Having the spare tank filled could have avoided that issue entirely. The hot tub was pleasant, but having some instructions on the jet operation and temperature increase would have been handy for non-hot-tub users. The view was outstanding from the deck. Simply amazing.

The lodge/home was clean, well-organized, and generally comfortable, although the property itself is quite dated. Unfortunately, the air conditioning was not functioning when we arrived, and the unit appeared to be undersized for the space, making the home uncomfortably warm during our stay. The refrigerator was also not performing properly, as it struggled to keep items cold. As a result, our coffee cream spoiled, and beverages such as beer were only mildly chilled.To the host's credit, they made every effort to address these issues, but there was only so much they could do. On a positive note, the location is excellent, situated within a 15-minute walk of downtown and close to several restaurants, as well as a fantastic bakery.

What a wonderful space for large families to gather. It met all of our expectations. Large log cabin with luxury linens, beautiful kitchen to cook with multiple people, large deck to relax, large picnic table to eat together outside or inside, also large green area to sit and watch kiddos in the water and play ball. Loved it!

Excellent 4 day stay!

Great communication with the host, and everything was very clean. To our surprise, there were lots of baby essentials provided—changing pad, high chair, and utensils. A wonderful bonus for traveling with a little one!

Great Cabin for the Family

We loved our stay at this cabin and it was exactly as advertised! The kitchen equipment was better than most other properties we have stayed at, and the house overall is beautiful! Tons of room for the kids and adults to play! We would definitely consider this property again!!

Perfect Mountain Cabin!

Our group of 8 had a great time here, beds and rooms were comfy and clean, amenities made the cabin a place to enjoy, not just a place to sleep while we visited Invermere and the surrounding area. Would definitely stay again if we have the chance.

Cabin in the mountains

Overall we had an amazing stay. The house was huge and easily accommodated our small party. Our three year old loved it. The house is a bit older but the upgrades done are beautiful.

Lovely Chalet with excellent location for skiing and enjoying Invermere

The location of the chalet within walking distance of downtown Invermere and a 20 minute drive to Panorama was perfect for 2 families with kids who wanted to ski but also enjoy the spa and restaurants in town. The comfortable bedrooms, arcade games in the basement, wood burning fireplace and private hot tub made the stay extra special. The large kitchen and common area were perfect for meals at home. We would love to stay there again!

Husbands 50th

We had a wonderful family day long weekend and celebrated my husband’s 50th birthday with our kids and their spouses. We really enjoyed the open concept living room kitchen area so we could all be together and play games and have a meal at the nice big dining table. We had a wonderful stay, and we would definitely come again.

Amazing

The house is exactly as advertised. The beds were super comfortable and the wood burning fireplace was an added bonus. The kitchen is well equipped. We had a few minor hiccups which our host sorted out right away. We highly recommend this property for a larger group as there is ample space to visit. It is very close to downtown so we did not have to drive far to dine and go shopping. We will be back.

Great Invermere Family Size Accommodation

Our family of 12 (7 adults and 5 youth) had a great stay here Christmas 2024. Great location in the Town of Invermere allowing you to take a nice stroll to the downtown core, to the lake and to the Mount Nelson Athletic Park and bike park (summer). Beautiful wood burning fireplace with lots of wood to keep it going as often as you like. Sleeping arrangements was a perfect fit for our mix of adults and kids as was the dining area. Owners leave plenty of complimentary tea and coffee and all the dishes you would need as well as soap, shampoo and conditioner in the bathrooms. The decorated Christmas tree was a nice touch!

The place was great. Hot tub is a great apres ski amenity. We had a problem with a leaky toilet downstairs. Jerod was super responsive to my calls and got it fixed very quickly. Small suggestion- Get a dish rack to let dishes dry after washing them. I’d recommend the place to any group on a ski trip that doesn’t care about ski in ski out and wants to enjoy being in Invermere.

Lovely comfy well appointed cabin type of lodging

We enjoyed the home allowing for private spaces for all 12 of us. Hot tub was a nice addition. It would have been good to know that lawn chairs a a few lawn games where in garage We found everything we needed to cook and provide comfortable lodging for our group of 12. The large deck with comfy furniture and picnic table was so useful. Perhaps a clearer marking of “ cabin yard” would serve to ensure no miscommunication with neighbors ( ie : assuming a trampoline was attached to our space , wrong) We would definitely recommend this property to others looking for a large comfortable relaxing time in the Rockies.

The worst VRBO experience I have ever had.

I have rented VRBO’s all around the world, and this is by far my worst experience. If you rent this place know that, 1. You are not renting from a VRBO homeowner, you will be subcontracted to another rental agency that does not care at all about customer service. They just want your money and if you report something broken, they will blame you for breaking it. 2. The master bathroom is misrepresented in the photos!!! The photos do not show the beam in its entirety. It is a massive beam that runs from above the toilet to the tub. Every time you have to go to the bathroom you’ll have to duck under the beam if you are taller than 5‘6“. The likelihood that you will smack your head against this beam in the middle of the night is very high. The beam is directly above the toilet, so you have to remember not to stand up all the way after using it or you you could really injure yourself! This is a lawsuit waiting to happen! It’s a major design flaw that they don’t want you to know about so you will rent the unit . I ended up sleeping in the kids room on the main floor because I could not risk hitting my head due to a previous injury. 3. The kitchen is not a gourmet chefs kitchen as they described. The cabinets are as old as the home, the drawers are difficult to push in and out and break. The countertops are a fake plastic acrylic material, the appliances are basic, the barbeque was filthy. 3. The hot tub is on the side of the house facing the parking lot. You’ll be lucky if you can get it to work and even luckier if the hosts will tell you how. Water is luke warm. 4 We saw spiders and beetles every day. In the shower and sink and even on the beds in the basement. This is an old cabin so I get it but if you don’t like the creepy crawlies I would rent somewhere else. 5. Just bring your own towels! You will get exactly one per person if you’re lucky. 6. Don’t get sucked in by the arcade games. In fact, they are a liability for you as a renter if they don’t work or accidentally break you will most likely be charged.

Thank you for your review Jennifer. We are surprised by the comments you have made. You called and texted us many times during your stay. We were always happy to help in whatever way we could. Even after you swore at our staff and reported us to VRBO for not having a fire extinguisher (which we do and we kindly pointed out to you where it was) The beam in the bathroom is well photographed along with all of the other photos in the home. Everything is an accurate representation of what the home has to offer. I'm sorry that you didn't feel the same. The kitchen appliances are all brand new so that is also surprising to hear they didn't live up to your standards. We are always willing to make improvements when possible. We spoke to you about the hot tub and how to adjust the temperature a couple of different times. After checking in you asked how to adjust it up, we let you know. Then the next time we spoke you said the hot tub was too hot. We are always happy to answer any questions. There were no charges to you for anything broken? We didn't accuse you of breaking anything or asked you to pay for anything. I'm not sure where these comments stemmed from? We provide 12 towels per stay as well as laundry detergent if you need to wash the towels provided. Since your reservation only stated having 4 people I think having 3 towels per person would be sufficient for you. The arcade games are also brand new and work excellent. They are there for the kids and young at heart to enjoy themselves. Thank you for staying with us on your Thanksgiving weekend. We have hosted thousands of people and none have treated our staff quite the way you did. I wish you all the best on your next stay, we wouldn't have you back.

Spectacular views, wildlife, and great memories!If you are looking for a spacious group getaway, this is it. Four couples shared this home for five days, and we never felt crowded. The large dining table and patio allowed us to gather comfortably as a group. The highlight was definitely the setting—spectacular views, visiting deer, and beautiful birds everywhere.We took full advantage of the area, golfing at three nearby courses and biking the gorgeous 27 km Markin-MacPhail Westside Legacy Trail. The host was excellent and very attentive to our questions. While the home could use a minor touch of TLC, the overall experience was fantastic. We would love to return!

Awesome place for a relaxing weekend with the guys

We really enjoyed ourselves at Canterbury Lodge. Watched a ton of hockey and World Cup games in the living room, enjoyed some great meals, the hot tub was big and amazing to relax in after a day in the mountains. Walked down to Taynton Bay Spirits and enjoyed fried pickles at The Station Pub. It was great to take advantage of the Arcade games in the basement and the big fireplace on the main floor. Great place for what we were looking for, would recommend.
