The condo was clean and as described. The view of the bay from our balcony was beautiful! We recommend this place to stay if you are looking for a place in Rockport!

Very clean condo, but there were electrical issues with the master bedroom and bath losing power intermittently. Also found the place needed extermination for roaches. Many problems with the door lock and we were locked out twice.

Beautiful location. The condo was equipped with all kitchen gadgets needed and games/movies etc… will recommend this unit to friends/family!

Well decorated with nautical theme. Didn't particularly like having to deal with both VRBO and Miss Kitty's property management. Only big negative was not owners fault, lousy TV reception. Spectrum is ISP and streaming service with them is lousy in Rockport as confirmed in conversations with residents. Constant buffering while trying to stream TV as well as several internet outages. Owner had one TV set up for watching DVD's from what I am going to call his personal DVD library and there was something for everyone. Queen bed too soft for our taste

Relaxing getaway in Rockport

The property was very clean, comfortable, had a beautiful view of the water, and a wonderful pier. (The fishing there was terrific!) The communication with the host was excellent throughout the entire process. It was a very peaceful and relaxing getaway that had everything we wanted and needed for our stay, and I would recommend to friends and family.

short getaway

Great Location

Place was in great location. Love the pier for fishing. Good setup for parents and kids. Not enough towels though if we would have had my whole family of 4. One of the bathrooms had hairs on the floor so could have been cleaned a little better. Over a good experience.

Weekend getaway from Austin primarily fishing

The condo was very nice (decor, cleanliness, comfort all great); the kitchen was completely outfitted with everything we could need (we've found this can be variable with rentals). The balcony was large with a great view and always had a breeze. The fishing pier was fantastic--we have had problems with past rentals having a short and crowded pier, but this one was perfect. Few people (in late June) except at night, but there was plenty of room even then. At night it has motion lights. Caught several catfish (saw other people catch them, too), a black drum, a puffer fish. Enjoyed seeing dolphins, seabirds, a large school of jellyfish, etc. We hope to come back!

Great view!

We enjoyed staying here. The condo has a great relaxing view of the water. The pier and fishing were good but unfortunately the lights on the pier have not been completed yet. Would have made for better night fishing, but it appears they are working on it. I thought there would be laundry in the unit, but maybe I missed in the posting that the laundry facility is at another location in the complex. We didn’t end up using it, but we probably would have used a washer in the unit. Super easy check in. Communication with the property manager was easy. Price seemed good. Overall we enjoyed the experience and had a relaxing trip.

Location not bad, easy access to main road. Great view of water and easy walk to pier. Polite! I used Miss Kitty's couple of times. Easy once booked and they do keep you inform though emails up till your stay.

Ocean Views

We had a great weekend at "Golden Gull"! The views are amazing, the pier is one of the best in town! Well priced for a fantastic family get away. The rental had everything we needed including puzzles, games, books and movies. Things we didn't think of like blender, lantern, first aid kit, etc. It was quite and gorgeous! We did have to reach out to Kitty's and Property management to get codes, both were great to work with and very timely!

Great, last minute getaway! The Golden Gull was near great fishing with a large balcony looking out into the water. Loved the coffee table books. Comfortable property. We will be back. Great overall experience. Loved the fishing dock and the view from the condo. Beds were comfortable, and great selection of coffee table books, the "welcome to Golden Gull" book, etc. .... did love the personal touch on books, DVDs and local magazines. Great! Very professional staff member who called to make sure that I received the email.

Vacation

This was perfect for us !!! We have 2 little girls so it was super easy to get to the pier and allow them to fish for a while. In fact my 7 year old pretty much spent 2 whole days on the pier fishing with dad!!
