HGTV's Beachfront Bargain Hunt on the water in Rockport

There are many things that make our condo in Rockport, Texas special. Best, it is a place for peace and quiet. We enjoy sharing the condo with guests - and are fortunate to have many return - who relax and appreciate a calm getaway. This peaceful place was featured in a 2015 episode of HGTV's Beachfront Bargain Hunt (Redemption in Rockport, Texas, season 8, episode 9). It is a well-decorated, 2-bedroom, 2-bath condo up a flight of stairs (no elevator) on the second floor with a 40-foot balcony overlooking Aransas Bay. There is a swimming pool, and finding a fishing spot is as easy as walking across the street. The condo is fully stocked with just about everything you'd need for a comfortable stay. Thanks for taking an interest in the condo and showing respect to our neighbors by keeping it a quiet and relaxing spot during your stay. Sorry, we do not host loud gatherings. This is our 4th summer in a row to stay at this condo. Tim is a wonderful host. The condo is comfortable and cozy with gorgeous views of the bay. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking and meal prep. On site laundry is convenient, especially for families with kids. The pool is spacious and clean and the pier is great for fishing or just taking a leisurely stroll. The Rockport/Fulton area is our favorite coastal getaway!

The condo was perfect for our group of 4. It was very comfortable, clean and the location of the condo balcony faced right at the bay. Loved seeing the sun rise from the water each morning. The kitchen and bathrooms had everything we needed. And thank you to our host who was very accommodating. Would definitely like to return.

It was a great location and very quiet, easy check in. The owner Tim was very responsive to our questions quickly and without any delay.. You have to go to the office to get a form to access the pier and get a code at the time of check in if you want to fish or walk to the end of the pier.

The view was amazing and place was perfect for a quite get away. Loved the fishing and sitting on deck with beautiful view. The host was so accommodating and friendly. We did not want to leave and he was so nice. with working with us to stay extra night to enjoy the rental. Thumbs up! Above our expectations, was what we were so wanting and needing. Thank you!

Beachfront Getaway

Tim was a great host, very responsive when the WiFi went out. (Turned out it was an area wide outage) The condo is very comfortable and the sunrise views are incredible. We were there about five weeks and it wasn’t enough.

We love traveling and seeing the world. For our weekend getaways when we're not taking off on the big jet plane, we head to the Texas Gulf Coast. We have a wonderful condo right along the water that we love to share!

Por que o anfitrião escolheu essa propriedade

We feel lucky to have found this condo. It gave us a thrill when we were invited to tell the story of how we fell in love with it on an episode of HGTV's Beachfront Bargain Hunt. Now that the cameras are gone, the thrill remains! It's our place to entertain friends and spend time with our grandchildren.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

When we leave our job in the big city, we try to leave the office in plenty of time to get on that 40-foot balcony for an evening of cool breezes and sharp refreshments. Throw in some fresh seafood from Alby's - they serve it from right off the boat - and our condo is tough to beat. Wake up the next morning to a quick cup of fresh coffee and one of the most brilliant sunrises you'll ever see!
