We loved our stay at this condo! The location was peaceful and quiet, which made for a relaxing vacation. The condo itself was clean, comfortable, and well-stocked with everything we needed for our stay. We especially enjoyed mornings on the balcony with a cup of coffee and evenings on the balcony eating dinner.If you're looking for a relaxing beach escape in a serene location, this is the place. Weā€™d definitely stay here again!

Excellent condo, nice and quiet

I took my wife and kids with their spouses for a nice quiet vacation. We got that and more. The property was spectacular along with the communication from management. The property was exactly as described and the surrounding area is within walking distance of a few restaurants if you get tipsy. We loved the seafood market and grocery store. The small town feel was exactly what we like, and no Panama City/Destin vibes.

Nice Stay

The front door was a little hard to open. We had to jiggle it and move it back and forth to get it to lock/unlock because the alignment was off. The place was really nice though and had everything we needed for our stay.

We enjoyed our stay. Pros: Beds were comfortable, well stocked kitchen, location and the pool and beach was wonderful. Cons: Trouble with hot water heater tripping and lukewarm water when we arrived Thursday night. We called Friday, Maintenance came Saturday morning. He worked on it but no normal hot water until late Sunday afternoon.

Wonderful family vacation

This was a great condo for our family vacation. We had a couple hiccups at check-in due to recent flooding in the area and a few minor things during the stay, but property management was very responsive. Comfortable beds, carpet was definitely new, kitchen was pretty well stocked but could use new pans. The beach was never crowded, even over a holiday weekend. If you havenā€™t stayed here before the clearness of the water depends on the current as water drains out from the bayou area nearby. For clearer water you have to go around the bend. Overall it was a great place and we would definitely return!

Beach vacation

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Rental was in a good location and easy walking distance to the beach, however the unit could use some work, and a thorough cleaning (especially carpets).The property management company was called twice due to a shower that would not heat properly- not even lukewarm water. A repair man came out x2 and finally determined a part was needed but would not arrive until we checked out - 5 days later. This would not have been a big deal as the unit had 2 showers except my elderly mother had to take cold showers the entire vacation due to needing a walk in shower. In addition the elevator was out of order for 24 hours so she could not leave the unit for an entire day due to difficulties maneuvering stairs (why we chose this unit). We made the best of the vacation despite these issues, and the management company was responsive- the unit just needs some attention.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo meet our needs, but could use some updates. The carpet is old and being pet friendly, probably should not have carpet at all. Needs window treatments in the living room and blackout window treatments in the master. On vacation I would prefer to not have the sun wake me up at 6:30. The management company was fast to react, but I feel as if they knew there was an issue with the water heater before we arrived that wasn't resolved until the 2nd day of our stay as well as a broken chair on the patio that should have been removed before we checked in. No hot shower the first day and I happen to sit in the broken chair landing on the concreate patio. Condo was clean, but the patio was dirty.....

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our families first visit to Cape San Blas. We have been going to PCB for what seems like forever. I am so glad we took the chance and found this lovely condo for our yearly vacation. Gulfside Escape in Dunes Club was a fantastic place to stay. We were so glad to find a condo to rent which allows dogs. This was the first year we took our little dog to the beach. She did great all week and gave us no problems. The condo itself was beautiful and very spacious. The layout was plenty big for the six of us. I have to say this condo had one of the best stocked kitchens I have ever seen in a rental. Beds were very comfortable with plenty of linens and pillows. Don't be discouraged by the picture of the walk to the beach. It really is not that far, compared to how far you walk to the beach in PCB from one of the big complexes. The biggest change by far was the lack of people and noise. It was so nice not to sit in traffic and listen to kids beep their horns 24/7. I will warn anyone that is used to going to the more popular vacation areas. This island literally has nothing to do as far as entertainment and night life. There are a few bars in Port St Joe, but that is 15 minutes away. There is a store on the island with all the main essentials and a Piggly Wiggly in Port St Joe. This spot is more suited for people wanting to relax and get away from the stresses of life. I will leave it at that. Overall, the condo and complex were very clean and well maintained. I would definitely recommend this all my friends and family. We will be back next summer for sure.

Wonderful Beach Hideaway

if you are looking for a secluded, beautiful vacation, and want to experience "old Florida" this is it! We stayed for a week and loved the beach and pool access/view.

Had a great time!

Very well equipped home. We loved all the extra serving dishes, and the variety of drink glasses. All the pots, pans and kitchen tools you will ever need. Plenty of towels! The best washer and dryer!! HD a wonderful stay!

More than a regular rental

Our stay was just what we needed. The condo has everything you need and more. The kitchen is over stocked. The only thing we needed and didnā€™t have was crab crackers. We had plenty of towels for the 4 of us. The management was quick to help when needed. They even went to the store to get us a hair dryer. The 3rd bedroom is very small but we knew that going in to it. We highly recommend this condo!

Nice property, well stocked, comfortable, as advertised.

We really liked this place! Maybe we are a bit jaded, having a wide range of experiences, in renting short term holiday homes, but there is something to be said for getting what you expect. This place met everyone of our expectations and we thoroughly enjoyed our break from the pandemic, work and everything else this year has brought. Thank you for having us! We will gladly return in the future!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We really enjoyed Cape San Blas and the condo - perfect for what we were looking for. Very quiet trip. Highly suggest if you want to just hang at the beach, hang at the pool and eat in at the condo. In fact most days, we were the only ones using the pool area. The drive into the grocery is about 20 minutes at the most and some restaurants where nearby. There is a cute downtown area as well with some nice gift shops.
