SWEETWATER is a beautiful, newly refurnished 1st tier home, 3 bedrooms, screened porch, dining deck, close access to a large solar heated community pool and beautiful Cape San Blas. The home is well-appointed with new furnishings, electronics and appliances. The kitchen is fully stocked with high end cookware and knives - making dinner a breeze! Sweetwater features beautiful Gulf views, a wonderful screened porch and 2 open sun decks. It is only steps to either the white sands of Cape San Blas or the large community pool. Both are accessible via the convenient walkway. Community rules will only allow 8 guests in this beach home.

Wonderful house, we loved access to the boardwalk, beach and pool. The paved path and pickleball courts less than half mile away was a source of lots of fun.

This was the perfect pet friendly place to stay. The beach and pool were quite close and very private. The beach chairs and stocked kitchen were a plus for an extended stay. We would definitely come back.

Wonderful location. We loved our time here. It was our first time to this area of Florida and this home location was great. The kitchen is well stocked. The bedrooms were good and the roll away beds worked perfect for our kids. There were plenty of sheets, towels, and blankets. Great screened in porch with comfy furniture. Quiet neighborhood too!A few negatives:Chairs on upper deck were ripped and unusable. So we never got to sit up there and look out at the ocean. Master bath towel rack was loose so we couldn’t hang our towels (no biggie) but also the outlet didn’t work (if you use hair appliances)They only give 1 roll of paper towels and toilet paper. We brought some but also had to buy trash bags. You really do need to bring or buy all the essentials. Community pool was WARM- like taking a bath! We only went once because of that.

We are glad you enjoyed Sweetwater! It is a great property with an easy boardwalk to the beach and community pool! We appreciate that you reported the chairs to us, and I immediately contacted the owner for approval to replace, which they quickly approved - 2 new chaise lounges and a matching side table. They were order that same day and assemble and installed as soon as they arrived. Also, the loose master bath towel rack has been repaired. Regarding the supplies, we do let you know in your check in instructions that we provide only starter supplies. Unfortunately, we have found that when stock is left available, many times it is all removed at the guest exit and can then impact the next guest. It definitely has been a hot summer and the community pool does bear that heat, so we completely understand the bath water feel! Hopefully, you found the Gulf more refreshing! Our family had a great stay. The location was excellent and the listing is as described. For the most part, the host was really great with communication, with the only exception being when I reported some initial findings upon check-in. I did not report the large amounts of sand and dog hair in the living room couches upon arrival, but we easily vacuumed those and that is more of a cleaning service issue. We would’ve loved to have lounged on the top deck area but both lounge chairs up top were busted and it was impossible to use them. The screened in bottom deck area was nice. The outdoor shower was not hooked up, but a hose pipe was available, and we used this to rinse off. Check in and out was a breeze and we would stay here again. Would recommend having cleaning crew make sure no large amounts of sand and dog hair in couches (we did not have a pet and didn’t realize this was a pet friendly place). Also would recommend that the televisions in guest rooms, including master, have ability to do something other than play old dvds. Living room television was the only tv with actual tv service. We didn’t spend much time watching TV, but it would’ve been nice at night to have the ability to watch/sign in on our Netflix in master bedroom. Really great location and enjoyable atmosphere- thanks for the beautiful memories!

Perfect beach getaway

We loved our stay at this property! The proximity to the beach and pool were a huge bonus especially for my mobility challenged, elderly mom. The kitchen is well stocked, and having a laundry room was a life saver. We also enjoyed the covered screened in porch for watching the thunderstorms roll in. The next door neighbor is a friendly local, and a great resource for recommendations!

Loved our stay!

The house was perfect for our family and our dog. We loved the view from the porches, and it is an easy walk to the beach. My husband cooks and was thrilled for how well the kitchen was stocked.

Beautiful house and great location!

We greatly enjoyed our stay at this property. The house is decorated beautifully and the kitchen is well stocked with everything needed for cooking and eating in. The location is great and the house is very close to the Gulf--just a short walk to the beach!

Great house for small family!

Nice beach getaway

We finished up our vacation in this lovely beach home. 2-4 min walk to the beach along the board walk and a nice ocean view from front deck! This home was spotless on the inside with an extremely comfortable master bed! We throughly enjoyed our few nights in the nice house

Great location!

We really enjoyed our stay at Cape San Blas! This home was perfect for what we needed. Nice beds, clean rooms and plenty of things to use in the kitchen! We enjoy cooking while we are on vacation and this home had everything needed! Short walk to the beach and pool. Only about 15 minutes to the grocery store at St Joe.

Well Maintained Property

We enjoyed our stay at this very well maintained house. We had all we needed and we’re just steps away from the beach or the pool. This house was one of the closest to the beach in this neighborhood. The property managers were very responsive to our needs.

Wonderful location, convenient to beach

This home was incredibly nice. We loved our stay and would like to go back. We were so grateful to be able to bring our fur-babies (2 dachshunds) who loved the beach. The beach was incredible - very peaceful, not too crowded. Kitchen was great. Master suite upstairs was very comfortable. Would definitely recommend to a friend.

Excellent Choice

Beautiful home. Great location. Excellent beach. Communication and support from host was great. Definitely a place we will add to our return list. Close enough to Port St Joe to enjoy access to stores and restaurants. But located on a quite cul-de-sac with a short board walk to the beach. Great BBQ restaurant within walking distance and kayak rental across the street for the more adventurous explorers.

Beach Stay

We enjoyed our stay at this house. Nicely decorated. It was supposed to have dishwasher soap and laundry detergent but there was non there. We were very disappointed that the pool was closed for repair. We picked this property specifically because it had a pool

We are so glad you enjoyed your stay at Sweetwater! We are sorry that the HOA closed the neighborhood pool due to a leak in the skimmer lines located several inches below the concrete. They are actively searching for a contractor to repair it and will provide updates as available. The goal is to repair asap. Unfortunately, they did not send out a notification about the closure prior to your stay or we would have notified you. We hope you will come back to Sweetwater in the future! Lovely location and great accommodations

Our first ever visit to Cape San Blas! The walk to the beach was beautiful, the house was lovely (upstairs master bedroom is a little warm though, shut the door to keep it cooler), the kids loved having access to the pool! My only issue is that check in time is 4pm, which seems really late, especially since you are being charged the full day. And check out time is 10am. Overall it was a great experience and I can’t wait to come back to Cape San Blas! Also, visit Tortuga Moon for souvenirs, part of the proceeds is donated to turtle conservation!
