Just steps from a boardwalk to the beach - easily accessible by golf cart - this home provides the ultimate coastal escape. Relax on your balcony with a drink in hand, feel the Gulf breezes, and take in the sparkling blue-green watersā€”itā€™s the vacation youā€™ve been dreaming of.

The first floor features a spacious den area with a wet bar and two bedrooms, each with a king-size bed, flat-screen TV, and an en suite bathroom. Step outside to the covered patio and enjoy the private swimming pool, perfect for cooling off after a day in the sun.

On the second floor, youā€™ll find three more bedrooms, including two primary suites. Both primaries offer king beds, full bathrooms, flat-screen TVs, and share an oversized balcony with amazing views. The third bedroom features three twin-over-twin bunk beds and its own full bathroomā€”ideal for kids or extra guests.

The third floor is all about island-style living. A fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to cook up your fresh catch, along with a dining area and a spacious living room that opens to a covered deck with uninterrupted ocean views. Two pull-out queen sleeper sofas with memory foam mattresses provide extra sleeping space. Additional entertainment options include a ping pong table, dart board, and an arcade with over 60 classic games. Outside, enjoy a large BBQ pit, Texas-sized picnic table, and plenty of poolside seating.

We loved the setup with its view of the gulf. The house was very nice with room for all of us. The boardwalk to the beach with its showers to clean off sand was awesome.

Itā€™s what you would expect for a Texas beach property. Multi levels, decent view, nice pool. AC on first floor was lacking vs on the top floor but was still tolerable. Landscaping needed some attention. Lots of overgrowth around the pool. Front yard landscaping needs attention. It served our needs but was on the pricey side compared to others we have rented.

It was FANTASTIC!

It was fantastic! Probably the nicest, cleanest property we have stayed at. We had four families staying there and there was so much room. The kids loved the bunk bed room. The location right off of the beach was amazing. Some of our family chose to stay an extra day. Definitely would love to come back to Corpus Christi and stay at this property again.

Perfect for the whole family

We absolutely loved our stay here - it was perfect for the whole family, including the four legged member! Property management team responded fast to all our questions. I have only one negative and that is there were no dish towels in the kitchen (to dry hands and/or dishes), which is really just a me kind of thing. Both a pro and con is the distance to Port A - pro, we basically had the entire beach to ourselves; con, we had to drive 10+ miles to "do" anything in Port A (good news is we're beach people so we only made the drive once or twice). We will definitely book the property next time we have the whole gang vacationing together.

However, for the price I would have expected better amenities. For example: no dish towels and the balcony off of the bedrooms lacked any sort of furniture to sit and enjoy the view. If you are planning to stay here, be prepared to bring everything, down to the salt and pepper! There were plenty of beach toys for the kids so you can leave those at home. Also, be careful with the freezer it kept getting stuck and one of my girlfriends hurt her hand trying to close it.

Great views to the sea and the elevator helped getting the groceries to the kitchen. One bedroom had 3 bunkbeds for the grandkids which was fun to have them all in one room and no tv in that room, so they slept. The bottom floor was great for the older kids with the ping pong table in the garage and pac man console, fun for all the family. The location was great. Boardwalk to the beach was very convenient. It was cold in January so we were vary happy the house was heated. We would recommend this house, very satisfied with the home, location and customer service.

Fell Short of Expectations

We were excited about our stay at this house, as it checked the boxes on a lot of our need and wish-list items. The descriptions are on point in regards to number of rooms, king-beds, bathrooms, etc. And the access to the beach was great (second time staying in this area and the beach was great both times). The kitchen has plenty of dishware and cooking utensils, which exceeded expectations.Where our expectations fell short was the overall cleanliness of the property, quality of furniture, and communication from the management team. We took quite a bit of time wiping down the kitchen, cleaning food/dirt off of the couches, and washing dishes. It looks like the house could use a deep clean (perhaps it wasn't used much over the winter months?) and it did not present well when compared with the price-point of the house. When we arrived the pool was covered in grass clippings, and did not appear to be filtering correctly (water stayed pretty stagnant compared to the pools next door). We called to request this to be looked at, and was told a ticket would be made. No follow-up had happened by Friday afternoon, so I tried to reach management via the Vrbo app. I received a call from management on Saturday morning, and was just told they will note to have the pool cleaned after the lawn is cut in the future, which provided no help for our us. The pool was a reason we chose this property over others, and we never got to use it. Would expect a lot more from a property like this.

Convenient & Pretty but So Many Issues - Mold, Broken Doors etc.

1. We had a small child and were not informed the doors didn't lock, they were aware, signs posted. 2.Severe Mold in ice maker and water dispenser. 3.Ice box leaked all over the floor. 4.Door Locks were broken 5. 1 microwave was broken. 6.One door didnā€™t have a handle at all on the inside. 7. Door lock code quit working and we had to call to get another code. 8.Basic things like cleaner and spare paper towels and ample dish soap, shampoo, lotion, and coffee for the coffee maker were not included like many other houses we have rented for years in Port A. 9.The beds were super uncomfortable and made so much creaking noise it woke everyone up when we got up and down. We had to stack pillows under our bodies to get them to quit hurting our backs. 10.We texted the number it told us to text and no one ever got back to us. 11.There was mold visibly coming out between the wood slats in the 3rd floor living area on the walls.12. Kitchen Sink Disposal didnā€™t work. 13.We were given three pods for the dishwasher for a 7 day booking. 14. Coffee maker had mold as well and I had to clean it out to use it. 15. Ice maker didnā€™t work. 16.The phone for emergencies in the elevator didnā€™t work scary & dangerous. 17. We were given the wrong Wi-Fi information 18. Tv wouldnā€™t connect to the Wi-Fi. This property is unsafe for families with kids who can't swim. At such a high rate it was just not acceptable to lease without fixing first. We enjoyed our stay would return again if corrected.

Family weekend

Nice place that is clean and well kept. Enjoyed pool and short walk to beach. One of multiple TVs did not work, but that was an insignificant issue. Fridge nice and clean, but ice maker did not work. Overall, very happy with check-in process, home and surroundings. Pleased with our choice for a large family vacation.

Beautiful but needs attention

Beautiful place but hard to understand why itā€™s upkeep is neglected. Doorknobs falling off and hole in back door. Bedrooms on the first floor were always over 82 degrees. Called for assistance with no response. No lights in elevator making it virtually useless. Lawn not keptā€¦.high grass made mosquitos even worse. Really pretty with a great view but should be flawless for the price.

Good location, but marred by property maintenance

This property could be really great. The location is wonderful ā€” a quieter stretch of beach right next to Mustang Island state park. Having an elevator makes hauling supplies up to the 3rd story kitchen a breeze. It has a nice view of the beach and a close boardwalk. The retro arcade table downstairs is fun for kids. However, several maintenance issues marred our stay. The biggest was the pool pump was broken and the pool itself was filled with green algae and happy frogs doing backstrokes, making swimming unsafe and frankly, gross. The back door on the first floor that led to the pool had a broken lock, creating a safety issue as we were traveling with several small children. There was a sign next to the door saying a new door had been ordered and lead times are long, but we should have been informed upon booking that that was the case because small children and pools are incredibly hazardous. We were able to secure it with bungee cords tied to a chair. To make matters more upsetting, I called and texted the management company a few days before our arrival asking them to check on maintenance concerns after reading reviews here about a dirty pool, broken ice machine, and potentially unloackable back door. The management company said they would send someone to check, however, no one called me back to update me on the status and all the above issues presented themselves immediately upon our arrival. I called the management company again and they sent someone out to clean the pool and replace the pump, but even after that it was apparent the pool needed some serious work. Itā€™s also really sad because the properties immediately next door both have beautiful, sparkling pools which we were super jealous about! We didnā€™t get in the pool for the entirety of the stay, which was a huge disappointment for our big family group. Other small maintenance concerns showed the lack of care taken at the property: a broken shower door handle in one bathroom, the dishwasher bottom rack is missing a wheel in the kitchenā€¦the whole place needs TLC. Also, while itā€™s makes perfect sense to have the kitchen and living room on the top floor to take advantage of the views, the insulation between floors is abysmal. Those in the 2nd floor bedrooms beneath the living areas could hear every stomping foot and cabinet close above them. It made for some fitful early mornings and late nights when trying to get a baby to sleep. I would look elsewhere.

Terrific House

This was our second year staying in Beach a Holic. We had 14 family members present for a long weekend. Plenty of room for everyone. The view from the 3rd floor of the beach is amazing and love the boardwalk straight out to the surf. The home has lovely furnishings; very comfortable. We also love the ping pong table and electronic game table. The private pool is wonderful after a day at the beach. The elevator is wonderful for hauling ice chests, luggage, etc up to the 3rd floor kitchen, dining and living area. Thanks for another terrific weekend!

Wonderful beach house!

This place is beautiful. The pictures and description were spot on, did not disappoint. Only thing, which I rated 4 stars on, was we were not told someone would be showing up in the middle of our trip (arrived at 9am Monday morning) to work on the a/c. Was a little concerning at first when an unknown visitor arrived and we were not informed of this ahead of time. But after the gentlemen properly identified himself and called Silver Sands to confirm, he completed his task quickly and left. Other than this, the trip was perfect and we have already booked our trip to stay here again next year!

Our review of this property

We were quite disappointed upon arrival at this property. I paid $6,000 for this property for 3 nights and 4 days. This property needs some maintenance upkeep. Example: Back door would not lock.I cannot believe you are renting a property with a broke lock that can be accessed by anyone. Who would be liable for theft or even worse should someone just open the door and help their self? The handle to the 3rd. floor bathroom was broke. The handles on both shower door on the 2nd. floor are about to come off. There was blood on the bedspread in the 1st. floor bedroom bed. The trash situation was a joke. All the trash cans were overflowing with no place to put anymore trash. Their was a lot of trash on the back patio and in the backyard. Empty water bottles, paper plates etc. Toys all over the backyard. The 2 garages were not accessible for parking cars in. There was crap scattered all over both of them. We spent part of our vacation cleaning up after previous tenants. This should have been done by your crew. We departed on Thursday at 10:45 am leaving the house in better condition than we found it. I have photos of most of this crap I described. We rented from you last year and were very happy. Not so this year. The plusses were the location, the view, and the 3rd. floor area. Have a good day.

Beautiful house and view!!

Almost everything was perfect!! The house is beautiful, the view is stunning. Very short walk to the beach. Plenty of pool toys, beach toys and chairs. There were a couple downsides. They mowed the grass midweek and blew it right into the pool. We had to borrow the neighborā€™s skimmer to clean it out. We called and they said a pool person was coming but no one showed up. We also had a flight change and needed to check out a day early, they would not work with us. We just wanted a fourth of the cost of one night to help with a hotel room by the airport. Other than those, everything was awesome!!

Nice house/ nice beach

Our overall trip was great. The house was perfect for our large group. I had previously read reviews about dishwasher and ice maker being broken. The dishwasher had been fixed but the ice maker was still broken!! It was not fixed our whole trip so we had to constantly run out for ice. Communication with the management company was not great. I got several emails about sending my drivers license or I wouldnā€™t get a door code. I had sent it at least 4 times with NO confirmation of it being revived and still got emails that I needed to send it. After calling they confirmed they had gotten it. Also the WiFi was out when we showed up. We texted the number to ask what to do and it took a day to get answers. This was really annoying since a lot of us work remote and need WiFi. Aside from the management company the house is very well maintained and the beach is very nice.

Very Nice Place and location, but maintenance was a little sketchy

There was 16 of us (8 adults and 8 kids). The house was a great location and had plenty of room. The pool was a big hit! The elevator was required, nice and fun! My only negative comment was the house needed some maintenance work. When we arrived the dishwasher, ice maker on the frig, at least one bedroom TV, and several outside outlets did not work. I understand that things are used and sometimes abused by all the renters, but some things like the air conditioner, frig, stove, main TV, and with a party of 16 the dishwasher must WORK! Upon discovering the dishwasher did not work I contacted the property manager (Silver Sands) and they promptly sent out a repair man followed by an appliance specialist that determined the unit would not be fixed while we were there. These things including the dishwasher was broke before we got there so the dishwasher fix should already been happening. This meant one week of washing dishes for 16 people! I had to take a lot of heat from my party! I also had to make several calls and talk with several people while on vacation (not fun) from the supervisor up to the GM. After raising enough cane while there and when I got home, Silver Sands finally made good on a resolution which involved a partial refund that was satisfactory. I wish I didn't have to spend so much time on the phone, but we still had a great family vacation!

Great house but

Overall this is a great beach house for a large group. But, the dishwasher and ice maker were broken our entire stay. I reported this to the property management company on our first full day but it was never corrected. Washing dishes by hand for 11 people for 4 days is not my idea of a relaxing vacation. Make sure these items have been repaired before booking.
