Upon entering your vacation home, you’re greeted by Gulf Coast views. With high ceilings, comfortable furniture and HDTVs, you’ll know you’ve arrived in paradise as soon as you walk in the door. The interior of Stress Less features a full gourmet kitchen which includes stainless steel appliances, coffee maker, toaster, blender and an arrangement of cooking accessories that will make any chef smile. The breakfast bar seats a crowd and the dining table nearby has seating for eight guests. It’s the perfect place to gather for a meal together!

Stress Less offers four bedrooms each with an elegant beach flair and comfortable beds. The spacious primary bedroom offers a king-size bed and an enormous en-suite bathroom with a bathtub and shower. The second room offers a king-size bed and a private bathroom. The third bedroom offers two queen-size beds with a private bathroom. The bunk area offers a twin-size bunk bed and full bed and a private bathroom.

Port A family trip

This property is a great location and I preferred staying a little out of town to avoid the more crowded areas in Port A. It has access to a great section of beach that doesn't get too crowded. The house was nice although there are quite a few repairs that need to be made and the refrigerator didn't cool well. Overall it's a nice location, plenty of parking, the kitchen is well equipped and the there are lots of board games. The beds were also quite comfortable and the back deck is nice at morning and night.

Just what we wanted.

The home was so spacious we were all able to spread out and enjoy our trip. We happened to arrive ahead of a large storm that blew cushions and other stuff off the balcony but the weather improved and we couldn't have asked for a better spot. Being so close to the beach and a swimming pool, our party had plenty of fun in the sun. Not to mention sunrises and sunsets. I can easily see us returning in the future.

Great after a few hiccups resolved

When we arrived the house had not been cleaned but they were quick to get someone out to clean the home. It took about two hours to clean, which I am thankful they did take the time to clean. Water got shut off and internet was out. The property manager was quick to get these resolved for us. After the first day of hiccups, everything was great! Great location and plenty of space for the family.

Nice house - has housekeeping issues

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall our stay was wonderful. However, there were some issues that should have been resolved before we got there. The vent in the laundry room was very dirty - had not been cleaned for a long time. The patio furniture was filthy. It could have been wiped clean. The grill needs to be replaced - would not consider grilling on that grill.

Stress less is a perfect rename

We booked this home to celebrate my mother in loves birthday. It is named perfectly. We had a Great time celebrating her and being all together. The pool is a short walk and the beach just a quick walk from that. The home is spacious and quiet. We all got our own room and bathroom which made it nice.

5 days at Stress Less

Would love to give this home a higher rating but with all the maintenance issues, just can't. Air conditioner on 1st floor was out upon our check-in. Overall cleanliness of unit was very poor. Dog hair everywhere, food scraps on floor, floors extremely dirty. Garage door openers have issues. Drain in master shower is very slow. Couple of lamps are not working. No way to adjust ceiling fan in den without standing on the furniture.

The house was spacious and offered most of the amenities we were looking for in a vacation house. Actually this was the second year we stayed there. We were unable to get tv or internet the first day, but figured out how to reconnect the living room tv; however, we were never able to figure out how to operate the tv in the bunk room. There were ants and scorpions in the house, so I called to report that when we checked out. I would recommend putting the directions for tv and internet connection in a binder that visitors could access if necessary.

Trash was over flowing when we got there. You need a small dumpster or something. When we left the trash was over flowing. The TV in Bunkroom did not work. When I notified you about it you just said you'd put it on the list. What should have been done, is someone come out and fix it or replace it, especially when you know someone will be staying multiple days. The grills handle is broken and the grate to grill on will only set on the coals. The fire pit did not work. We found scorpions in bathrooms, beds and on the deck.ants are ridiculously bad in this house. You need pest control very regularly.we would brush our teeth in the morning and within 30 minutes toothpaste and brushes would be covered in ants. The house is advertised as if you can have a golf cart. The dryer takes multiple runs to dry, that's probably why when we got there, there was damp towels in the dryer because someone had to leave. The stairs to one of the bunk beds are also not very secure and it's pretty dangerous.

Great location, house as pictured and wonderful vacation spot for multiple families

The house is located on remote part of Mustang Island beach. It was only a 5 minute walk to the beach and not a problem at all for our family. The littles didn't even complain either of the walk. It was extremely convenient that the pool house was on the walk to the beach, which we took advantage of after hanging out on the beach all day. The house was just as pictured and clean. Kids loved all the games and we used the deck and charcoal bbq grill on the deck the entire time we were there. The only problem was the washer and dryer did not work. The customer service staff was very helpful but their maintenance staff was not as accommodating. The dryer - the ducting from the dryer to the wall was torn and filled with lint. We called maintenance to fix that initially and they came out quickly and fixed it. But it did not ultimately fix the problem. We told them that there probably was lint caked in the ducting in the wall and maintenance would not come out to even assess or try to fix or help us - the guy actually told me he would come out the next day and then didn't show. And when I called back customer service said someone would show. After waiting an hour, I called again and was informed an appliance repair company would come out on Monday to fix it (when we were gone). Then my husband called and explained to the customer service rep exactly what he felt was the problem and the rep informed him that maintenance is refusing to come out since they feel they fixed the problem. The dryer would get hot and not dry anything. It really put a damper on our vacation as we were there for 4 nights and had planned to use it every other day and packed accordingly. For this reason we will not be staying at A silver sand property again. Also no broom or vacuum- that would be nice but didn't affect my review at all.

When we arrived we noticed holes in the walls in the bottom floor hallway. Our dryer was not working so we called that in and it was the day we were leaving before that was fixed. The faucet in the kitchen was wobbly and about to fall off. Sent a maintenance guy out to repair to no avail. The worst thing was the ants in the pantry and all restrooms. Sent a pest control out and sprayed the ants but no one ever came back to clean up the dead ants. We had all our dry goods in the pantry and unfortunately we had to throw some items out due to the ant infestation. On a brighter note, we did get a couple days credit due to Hurricane Hannah shutting down the beaches.

A Good Stay

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was as described with a couple downfalls. The area isn't great around the house as there are a lot of empty lots and grassy areas that have sticker burrs in the ground with wildlife that can get near the house. Be mindful with kids as they cannot go anywhere but in the house or on the deck upstairs. We did see a little garden snake on the driveway and two scorpions in the house. The beach is an OK distance.. it's a trek with children as you go far up the street, up a sidewalk, and then over a boardwalk that is not in the greatest shape.. I would not recommend taking a golf cart on the boardwalk as it is flimsy and there were two broken boards on it when we were there. The beach area itself was OK, it's a little narrow and there are a lot of cars that drive up and down, so with little children it was a little worrisome at times. The pool is small and dirty. There are bathrooms with codes on them (we were not given the codes) but were able to get in one and it was pretty gross.. not maintained at all. The pool area is also very hot and nothing much to it and was not too fun with young kids. As for the house itself, it looks small from the outside, but definitely offers a good amount of space inside. The place was very clean when we got there. Every room has a bathroom which is SO nice when you have different families staying there.Each bedroom also had a TV, which was also a plus. Most of the rooms are downstairs which get very loud at night when there are people upstairs in the living/kitchen and there are people downstairs sleeping. The kitchen and living was spacious and open, the couch was very comfortable. The kitchen was good although the pots and pans were not great and a lot of the food stuck to the bottom.- i would bring your own. The deck was also VERY hot and you couldnt go on it until night. You could see the ocean from the deck, but it wasn't anything special. Trash was never taken by the city which was weird, we called and they came & too

The community is super small, only 5 or 6 houses. The beach access was amazing. The pool on the other hand was not exciting at all. There were no lounge chairs or tables. Restrooms were lock and pool felt a little unkempt. The house itself was very clean (except the garage was a bit messy) and had everything you needed in the kitchen. Beautiful large balcony with great seating area and grill. It was a little starve that the owner had a camera set up in the living room and at the door (hopefully nowhere else). All in all we had a good experience. We had no issues with the house, other than the cameras.

Reviewer Comments: Loved the house and the location. It needs work. The blinds in the master bedroom are broken. You can see straight out into the street. Bathroom with bunk beds needs to be updated. Not in good shape. Called a week in advance because I saw on a review TVs did not work. They did not work when we got there. Maintenance guy, who was very nice, worked on it for hours and still couldn't get it to work. We had to use our own Sling account to get anything to work. Loved the layout of the house and the location. Been to Port A for the last ten years, and I do have to say this house would be 5plus if they worked on a few things. All the pans have rust on them and there needs to be a few more things to cook with like all the other homes we stay in.

Not happy with rental company

Reviewer Comments: We only got 2 trash bags, 1 roll of paper towels & 1 towel per guest. They would not give us clean towels after our 2nd day. There were several outlets that did not work in house & most of the TVs did not work. I have stayed at our houses in area & we got all the paper goods we needed. We got better service at the houses. The pool area did not have any chairs or tables & only 1 small light to light area at night.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: You have probably looked at this listing and are thinking you are looking at a premier property in Port Aransas. Well, you are not. Let me explain why. First, let's start with location. This rental, despite its listing is not in Port Aransas, it is seven miles south of Port A in Corpus Christi. Why would this matter? Well if you want to participate in any of the Port A activities, like renting a golf cart or taking a walk from one store to the next, you can't at this location. Expect a lot of driving. Also, expect a pretty good hike from the house to the beach. This is not considered beach front, beach view by any stretch of the imagination. And even beach accesible is a stretch as well. Second, the furnishings, amenities, and quality of the items in this home are poor at best. There were insufficient bath towels (and very cheap quality), bed linens were very rough and scratchy, and pots and pans in the cabinet were dirty and not cleaned. Additionally, simple things like a few extra trash bags, dishwasher/laundry soap, and even wash rags were not provided. Forget about assuming you could find aluminum foil or something else as extravagant in the kitchen. Some of the amenities like the outside grill were so badly worn that you can't and don't want to use them. There was a general cleanliness problem as well, there was trash in the yard, the garage is full of "junk" and it was clear upon arrival that there was very little care taken in the place. Also, the house has several exterior problems where the stucco, lights, trim, etc. have been removed but not replaced. There is an entire balcony on the front of the house that has the tyvek paper showing. It is immediately apparent why there are no external pictures. Finally, there is a bit of creepiness with owner mounted cameras both inside and outside the unit. There were Nest cameras plugged in in the living room and at the front door. Additionally, there was a Ring video doorbell on the front door.
