Cherry Hill - An ideal choice for All-Star Village and Cooperstown Baseball World tournament families! Convenient to downtown Oneonta's shops and restaurants, as well as to the shopping district on "Southside". Cherry Hill is located in a quiet residential neighborhood in the City of Oneonta in the scenic Catskill Mountain foothills. Oneonta is known as the "City of the Hills". This vintage home retains the charm of many architectural features such as high ceilings and wood floors and mixes in modern touches of decor.



An uncovered rear deck provides room for outside dining and relaxing, with a dining table and gas grill. You'll feel plenty of privacy here as you are nestled in the lush trees of the backyard. There's room in the level backyard to play catch and enjoy some time outside. There are several City Parks nearby with playgrounds and ball fields available for your use. There are also 2 City pools nearby that you can purchase a guest day pass to be able to use.



The first floor features a spacious living room with lots of natural light, comfy couches and a 65" SMART TV, a sun-filled dining room, and a fully equipped kitchen. A queen bedroom and a full bath w/ laundry are off the common areas on the first floor, and great for guests who prefer not to climb stairs. The second floor includes 3 queen bedrooms, all with their own SmartTVs and convenient to the shared full bath off the hallway.



There is off-street parking for 2 cars.

Great place and location

We enjoy our stay while visiting Cooperstown star village, Location was great, quiet and only seven minutes away. The house was clean, full accommodations, and highly recommended for your visit in Cooperstown.

The location was good. The kitchen was upgraded. Rails up the porch seemed to be a little dangerous as they were not stable. The deck was not cleaned off, there was no soap for showering. All the TVs were working well. There was an odd smell in the upstairs bathroom (smokey, stale) and upon entering the property the smell was musty. I would suggest air fresheners (plug ins) and supplying bathwash for the bathrooms. We did leave ours there. The host was very responsive and kind. We were able to check in at 11:00 which helped with our baseball schedue.

Cooperstown Stay

What a great home to stay in while my son was playing at All-Star Village. The drive was less than 5 mins from the field which made the commute super convenient. We had plenty of room during our stay. I would definitely come back to this location again.

Great Place for All-Star Village

This house was a great spot for family to stay for the Cooperstown All-Star Village week. Quick 5-minute drive to the baseball complex and a short walk to downtown Oneonta. Owners were highly responsive to any questions we had. Highly recommend.

Highly Recommended Rental

The house was exactly as it was in pictures. Communication with owners was easy, fast, and always helpful. Cooperstown All Start Village was a short 10 minute ride. Anyone coming to the tournament with a family I highly recommend this property.

Here’s a polished and friendly version of your review that keeps your voice while improving clarity and flow: --- My family and I stayed at this property, and it was amazing! I’ll admit, I was a bit hesitant at first because I came across one negative review on VRBO—but I’m so glad I didn’t let that stop me from booking. The house exceeded every expectation we had. I can be pretty picky when it comes to accommodations, but this place truly impressed me. Yes, the home is older (as most are in the area), but it’s very well-kept, exceptionally clean, and full of charm and character. The property is on a hill, and the driveway near the bottom is a bit narrow if you have more than one car. However, we had two vehicles and had no trouble—one fit nicely between the house and the fence when backed in, and both fit comfortably. The location couldn’t be better! It’s close to the fields and walkable to downtown Main Street, which has plenty of great food options. There’s also a Walgreens within walking distance for any last-minute needs. Benny, the host, was absolutely wonderful—very responsive and easy to communicate with. I would 100% recommend this place. It was a 10/10 stay for us!

Photos are misleading! House is old. Needs a renovation!!!

We rented this house because our son was at Cooperstown ASV. While yes the close proximity to ASV is convenient the house is old and basic at best. The photos look nicer than it is. The home wasn’t warm or inviting. Everything is old even the pots and pans. They were too scratched to cook on. The washer was old and rusty. The furniture look like it came from The Goodwill. With the money they’re charging families to stay here for the week you would hope they could put some more effort into making the home feel more inviting and cozy. We ended up checking out early and found other accommodations! You can tell the owner did a lot of DYI projects and it shows. There should be some sort of standard in which these Vrbo’s are held to. This one isn’t. Was the owner responsive, yes. Was check in easy, yes. Other than that the house needs a major renovation! The entire neighborhood is run down.
