The "Blue Roof House", just a 1/2 block to Lewes Beach!

Located just off peaceful Lewes Beach, this quintessential beach house features 4 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms and an outdoor shower. This beauty is only a HALF BLOCK from one of the Eastern Shore's nicest beaches. Ride your bikes or take a leisurely stroll to the shops and restaurants of downtown Lewes. Relax on one of the many decks and screened in porches while the kids play ping pong in the finished garage, the perfect hangout for teens. Ample parking is available in the driveway and on the street. You will find a WELL equipped kitchen, a large kitchen table and seating at the breakfast bar as well as ample outdoor seating. Lewes is a beautiful town with plenty to do year round. It is a quaint town full of New England Colonial architecture and made for walking. We are ready to welcome you and your family or friends for the perfect beach vacation. You will surely love Lewes as much as we do!
NOTE: We rent year round with a 3 night minimum in the off season and a 7 night minimum in the summer.

Wonderful property!

This is a great spot for a beach stay. Home is as described, spacious, quiet and easily accessible to the beach. We would definitely rent again.

The house was clean, spacious, and very well maintained. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals. We loved all of the outdoor spaces -- beautiful sunsets from the rooftop deck, two screened in porches to sit and read -- all very comfortable and spacious. Close walk to the beach. Really helpful to have two master suites.

Great Reunion made

This property made our family reunion all that much better. It is just as listed, well furnished and well stocked with all you will need and expect. Has great porches and decks. We will be back in 2 years!!

Great vacation

Great location for our family vacation with our children & 5 grandchildren. Walking distance to the beach. We had a great time in this beautiful home and lucked out with beautiful weather.

Great Stay!

My family and I had a great time last week! The house has everything that is needed for a great time at the beach and is in a great location. My kids also loved having a backyard area so that they could play in the evening.

Lovely and well-stocked beach house

We had a fabulous stay at the blue roof house. It is one of the best furnished rentals we’ve ever been in. There are many details that make it family friendly as well. The host is super responsive and thoughtful. Would definitely stay here again!

Great house, great location near beach!

You can’t beat the location of this terrific property-just a block from the beach! The house worked perfectly for our family, ranging from 2 to 76! It was sparkling clean inside, with lovely screened in porches, and great outdoor amenities available including beach wagon, outdoor shower, beach towels, chairs and a skim board! It even had a pack’n’play crib and booster seat so we didn’t have to lug them from home. I would definitely rent again if we return to Lewes.

Beautiful home in a nice location. Property owners were friendly and helpful. Would recommend this spot to people looking for a nice vacation. Loved the 2 porches as well.

Blue Roof was perfect

We loved this property. It's quiet and located near the beach. The owner has really thought through everything that one could want in a house. It's very well cared for and has the perfect layout for relaxing. We loved it!

Great house in a perfect location!

We loved staying in the “Blue House” for a week with family and friends. It’s very spacious and super well equipped and organized. We really liked the front and back porches which are screened in so you can enjoy the morning or evening without bugs. The kitchen is big and stocked with everything you need. The rooftop deck was perfect for seeing the sunset. The beautiful Lewes beach is a short walk away.

The property was close to the beach. The beach was nice and clean. The house was perfect. It had everything we needed. The porches were great places to get away or hang out with family. Tastefully decorated. Immediate response from owner to any needs. Would definitely recommend!!

Amazing, Relaxing Week

We all had an amazing time! Home is very cozy. Love the large screened porch as it did rain the last 3 days of our trip. We spent all week very determined to finish one of the 1,000 piece puzzles. We did in the last hours of the week but it was missing 2 pieces, haha. Felt very accomplished! Will be booking for next year!

Family vacation

The house was perfect our families ( included grandparents, and two families of 4). The kids loved sharing the bunk room and the other 3 bedrooms were very comfortable for each couple. Everything in the house was clean and nicely decorated. It came with lots of amenities. The screened porches made for such a nice extension to the house (without the bugs). We enjoyed eating at the table outside and playing board games ( the fans kept it cool out there). The house is such a close walk to the beach. Outside shower and hose made it very easy to clean off from the beach. Perfect beach house for families!

Fantastic house in beautiful location

We had a fantastic stay in this gorgeous house. The location is very close to the beach, and the house is the perfect place to have a multi-family gathering. It had something for our guests of all ages, and the owners have it well stocked for its guests, including in the kitchen, games and books, and beach supplies. There was nothing we needed but couldn't find in the house. One of the best things about the house for a large group is that it offered multiple places for groups of guests to gather or sit quietly to read a book- 2 screened porches, 2 living rooms, and the rooftop porch. Although we were a big group, the house didn't feel full of people. Highly recommend this house!

Fabulous family trip

Perfect Beach Getaway for Families! We had an amazing stay at this beautiful beach home with several families and kids ranging from 6 to 14 years old. The location is fantastic—just a short, easy walk to the beach, making it convenient for everyone. The house is incredibly well thought out for large groups. The layout was perfect, with spacious living areas and multiple screened-in porches where we could relax and enjoy the coastal breeze without worrying about bugs. The house had everything we needed, including a well-stocked kitchen that made meal preparation a breeze. The outdoor shower was a great feature for rinsing off after a day at the beach, and the yard in the back provided a safe space for the kids to play while we relaxed. The ping pong table was a hit with both the kids and the adults, adding an extra layer of fun to our stay. We also appreciated the two large TVs on different floors, which allowed the kids to watch their shows while the adults enjoyed the Olympics without any arguments! The roof deck was a highlight, offering stunning views of both the canal and the beach—perfect for evening ice cream and morning coffee. Parking was a breeze, and everything about the house made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to create lasting memories with our friends and family. Highly recommend this home for anyone looking for a relaxing and fun beach getaway!

The garage is finished with a ping pong table, a great hangout for kids, teens, or even the adults. And the screened porches and decks are a great spot to enjoy the ocean breeze and to relax with a drink or a good book.
