Joanna, The cabin you booked experienced an emergency that would not allow guests. You emailed me on 7/26 asking about a coffee maker. I replied 7/31 after your 2 more emails. I addressed EACH question. On the 14th the guests before you checked out @ 11:00am. At 11:30am my cleaners arrived and saw an issue (yes hot water heater) they addressed within hours via an emergency call at my expense. I did the best I could and at 1:11pm I upgraded you to a property that is 4000sqft, 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms with no additional costs. The home you stayed in is listed for $1.25M and the home you booked (3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, 1000sqft) is worth $600k. On the night of the 15th, upon resolving my EMERGENCY to MY HOUSE- I offered to MOVE you to the cabin you booked and a direct quote, "...at this point we would like to stay at this house for the remainder of our booking. Please confirm (6:57pm on 8/14 check in). Please reference your email that I cannot post: Coffe maker question: 7/26 Coffee maker follow up: 7/31 and wifi password request (2 weeks before arrival) Host follow up: 7/31 8/14: Joanna asking for access code beofer guests even check out. Prior guest check out @ 11am (peak season). I cannot change pascode for the door until those guests check out, in order to promote the safety of my guests. Emergency discovered 11:30am by cleaning crew- Host intervention 11:30am, called difficult guest move to a better, more expensive property. Guest was unreasonable, also asked for me to send someone to sweep the patio- this is the Poconos end of Summer. Sent pictures of paint peeling on an outdoor screened in porch that was damaged from tremendous Spring rain. House otherwise underwent a $300k renovation and was impeccable compared to the 1100sqft cabin in the woods that they rented. WAITING to set new code until check out is a security measure for my guests. HUGE disappointment- Joanna is black listed and not welcome back- I upgraded her at no cost, despite my own emergency situation that would have been excused by VRBO. Ungrateful. If her stay was SO bad why did she stay? She booked 7/13/24....house on the water that sleeps 8 people 1 bathroom. Was upgraded due to an EMERGENCY out of my control. I could have and should have canceled. Multiple lies in her review. Breaks hot tub filters, disables exterior RING cameras, abuses access to my cell phone and insists she is staying at the cabin she booked and that I am not allowed to do this. It is a cabin, you paid $500 a night on the water a month before and were upgraded to a house 10x the size and nicer w/ a golf cart, a beach, an overlook. You were so rude and entitled- I asked you to move and you were, "too busy" on the 2nd day- I guess it wasn't so bad, Joanna. If you see me as the host- DO NOT BOOK. We provide a home for memories to be made and you are TOXIC. Keep your nasty attitude and sex out of both my hot tub and home. 5 star PREMIERE with 4 STR for a reason honey. You're disppointed- imagine I canceled you for my emergency instead of accomodating you ungrateful, entitled resident of Jersey City 07305. If your upgrade was so bad you should have left. If you were so disappointed, why did you CHOOSE to STAY?
