This property was as advertised. Very well stocked with things from Q-tips to spices and more. Nice kitchen with about any cooking equipment you could need. Beds are comfortable and the linens are soft and clean. The gas fireplace was nice as it got a little cool in the morning. Checking into the Main Gate was fast and we were given an access code to the gates for our stay. We didn’t use any of the Hideout amenities like the restaurant or lake but it was all there if you wanted. The host was great to communicate with and we will be back! BTW our dog loved the place too! Lots of people were walking dogs around the roads.

Really enjoyed our stay and thought the house was very nice. The bedding was all comfortable and lots of included extras. The bedroom AC units worked great. We were there during a heatwave though and my only complaint is that there is no AC in the living/dining/kitchen area. It was very warm in those areas. Otherwise, everything was great and we would certainly return and recommend to others. Spacious layout and even our pup loved the house.

You happened to visit during an unusually intense heatwave, and while the bedrooms are individually air-conditioned, the open-concept living space can take longer to cool during extreme temperatures. Clean, well maintained, just the right size for 2-4 people. Also lots of little extras, you can pack light.

Check in was easy & accommodated for an earlier arrival so we could settle in before a 50th celebration party. Kitchen & pantry was stocked with the essentials - snacks, coffee, teas, dishes & cookware.

This charming and cozy home was the perfect getaway! Tucked away in the pocono mountains but still close to so much! The home smelled so clean as soon as we walked inside we were immediately pleased! The beds had high count quality bedding, beds were super comfy, and the kitchen was well stocked with what we needed and then some! We loved our evenings outside by the solo stove fire chatting, and then our mornings sipping our coffee by the warm fireplace! This home was the perfect autumn weekend away! We did the fall foliage train express on Saturday and then we walked Honesdale Main Street and enjoyed Puerto Rican food for lunch at an amazing spot off Main St and then grabbed cups of great coffee at black and Brass and then shopped all the small, quaint stores! All in all we loved it all and we are definitely planning to go back around the Holiday Season! Host was amazing, she left us a welcome gift and handwritten welcome note and was always quick with communication! We loved the home and the area and we most certainly cannot recommend it enough!!

One of the best places to go

La Caseta is one of the best places I have ever been at. I love almost everything about it. The only thing I don't like is the location of the television. I Wish it is upstairs instead of downstairs. Everything else is fantastic!!! Highly recommend!!!
