Check out our Facebook page Woodland Water Tower Ranch! Woodland Rd 1882 historic ranch located in Tanque Verde Eastside Tucson. Ranch style setting with modern hotel accommodations. Enjoy the 12 acre property filled with Mesquite Trees, walking paths, swimming pool (not heated), spa, outdoor grills, fire places and sitting areas. Hiking, walking trails and bike paths to Mt. Lemmon. Horse facilities available upon request. Perfect spot for retreats, corporate events, cycling and athlete training, family gatherings and more! The casitas allow for privacy and space with your own bedroom and bathrooms. There are no shared amenities!

Gather the entire family, friends and colleagues for a fun filled weekend getaway. Relax with a 50' resort inspired swimming pool (not heated) and multiple entertainment areas including built in BBQ's, fire places and water features. Game room is ready for friendly competition and a space to gather. Shoot a game of indoor basketball, pool or darts!

The guest ranch is a 3,000 square foot (3 bedroom / 2 bath) home. Reservations also include walking access to seven individual casitas. Each of the seven individual casitas are approximately 400 sq ft with spacious closets, bathrooms and porch lounging. Privacy and your own space in each of the casitas. The house and 7 casitas easily sleeps up to 20 people.. ***We have added two additional casitas to allow for more friends, family or colleagues. Sleeps up to 30 people. Additional pricing may apply for extra casitas and over 20 guest. Reach out to Kristen with any questions!

We held our company retreat here, and the place was great. Lots of space for people to wander on the compound, a trail network at the end of the street, and the owner was very responsive.

The online pictures are wonderful but do not portray the property in the wonderful light it deserves. The ranch is awesome and the hosts are terrific! It was perfect for our family who travelled from all over the country to Tucson our son’s wedding. Our entire family (3 generations) really enjoyed our stay and surely hope we can stay there again in the future.

A great place to stay

This was an amazing venue for a large (24) group of people to share. The hosts are charming and very accommodating. Everyone enjoyed congregating for food and festivities but also had plenty of room for "down time". I highly recommend!

Wonderful experience

This property is amazing! A group of lifetime friends came to Tucson from around the country to celebrate our anniversary and it couldn’t have gone any better. Kristen and Chris were awesome hosts and they’ve thought of everything to make our stay a great experience. The pool area was beautiful and so much fun. Very nice casitas and main house. Loved the Ranch!

Our extended family group of 18 had so much fun staying at the beautiful ranch to celebrate my husband's birthday. Chris and Kristen took great care of us and we loved everything about the place - the spacious and comfortable ranch house, the lovely casitas, the game room, and our favorite, the pool. We had a sing along around the campfire that we'll remember for years to come. Thanks so much, Kristen and Chris!

Golfing Tucson

A group of friends and I recently stayed at the Woodland Road 1882 Historic Ranch for an annual golf trip. It was absolutely perfect for our needs. All eight of us had our own private room with all the amenities as well as a number of common areas to meet in the morning and after our rounds in the evening. Each night Kristen had a bon fire prepared for us to light along with additional wood to keep the fun and banter going into the evening. I highly recommend this location for golfing around the Tucson area. It was comfortable, private, and nicely appointed. It was still a little cold in March to take full advantage of an awesome pool area. However, there is a gym and game room that kept everyone as busy as they wanted. Everyone agreed that this set a new bar for our group in terms of lodging for our golf trips. We are all looking forward to coming back next year and playing a few different courses. Kristen is a fantastic host. She is very responsive and any request or question we had was accommodated or answered quickly. Thank you!

Perfect place for our CEO retreat

I traveled to this beautiful property with several colleagues as part of a CEO mastermind group. It was the perfect spot for our time away from the day-to-day hustle of our businesses. Around every corner there seemed to be another pleasant surprise - a perfect meeting spot around a campfire, a stable full of friendly animals, even a nearby walking path that led to a beautiful lake. There was plenty of space for us to come together to learn and share, as well as ample space to spread out when we needed quieter time for reflection and planning. The hosts were easy to communicate with from the time we booked until we all checked out and they made us feel truly welcomed. If you’re traveling with a group, especially one that enjoys spending time outdoors, I can’t recommend this property highly enough.

Return visit

After our visit in September 2024, we knew this was the perfect place to return to celebrate the life of Boompa (grandpa.) Since our last visit 2 casitas and a game room (big hit with grandchildren) were added. Owners went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Having the whole property for our group made it so relaxing. The attention to detail and responsiveness of the owners was amazing. We enjoyed walking around the property, petting the mules and cows, working out in the gym, having comfortable casitas for everybody and there was a bonfire pit! We look forward to returning again.

Perfect for our Family

The house, the casitas and the grounds worked super well for my family group of 16. We loved Tucson and we loved the hosts. We had so much space, and the bonfire on our last night was amazing. Our host bought us smore ingredients, which made our last night even more special.

Great Property

This was our 2nd year staying here and it was as excellent as we expected. Kristen, the host, was great and made sure we had everything we needed. Several of us used the gym every morning and all of us enjoyed the firepit at the house at night. Beds were very comfortable as well. If you are going to Tucson, you need to book this property

Hamilton reunion

Kristen and Chris were great. The property was beautiful and very quiet. They live on the property and were available anytime we called. Our whole family enjoyed the ranch. They have horses & cows on the ranch ..It was close to Safeway and Costco. The pool was amazing.

Perfect for family reunion

We had the privilege of staying at Woodland Ranch over Labor Day weekend. Everything about our stay was perfection. The property itself is a magnificent oasis in the desert. Everything about our stay was wonderful, the property is absolutely beautiful! Our large family stayed for my dad’s 70th birthday and the accommodations were great. Everyone had their own rooms and then we gathered each day at the main house or pool. The pool area is soo beautiful, we spent most of our time there. Kristan and her husband were great hosts, they went above and beyond! We hope to be back next year for my mom’s 70th birthday!

I really don't know what to say! This property is phenomenal! We have never stayed in anything like it. The property is gorgeous and so much fun for families. It was like we rented a whole resort. Kristen was amazing, so responsive and everything we could have needed was there. She has thought of everything. Location is great. Grocery store is so close as well as restaurants and you are at the base of Mount Lemmon which is a lot of fun to visit. We will be back for sure!

The Perfect stay & Experience

😊My Son & Daughter In law booked the Ranch for my Grandson's College Graduation & it was perfect! Kristen & Chris were so gracious & accommodating, they have an Amazing property, from private casitas for the guests, wonderful entertaing areas around the pool, bonfires, fabulous BBQ, swim up bar at the pool, multiple places to enjoy around the property. The main house worked well for all of us to gather for breakfast, visiting or just hanging out together..... the property is totally beautiful, peaceful and Chris & Kristen have done so much with it!. Just when we thought things couldn't any better, they would surprise us with another feature. From planning, seamless check it, days enjoyed, this was a totally wonderful stay for our group of 12. Great Stay in Tucson

Our group of 14 friends and work associates really enjoyed our stay. It was nice having private rooms for everyone, the pool area was a fantastic gathering place with ample room for everyone. The owner was very responsive from time of booking through to the end of our stay, and while on site they checked in from time to time to see if we needed anything. Everything about our stay was very enjoyable.
