I’m very sorry that our Tiny House isn’t what you expected. It’s not a perfect fit for everyone. My site advertises “Tiny House” and that’s exactly what it is. It’s about the size of a hotel room, plus a sleeping loft. I’m always very honest about the size. The site also says, it’s located at Ingram Bay Marina (voted First Place in the Northern Neck). The cabin is not behind the boathouse but parallel to it. Boaters find it convenient to be near their boat in a covered slip. I’m very sorry, but surprised, that our recently upgraded Queen mattress (the same mattresses are made for the Wyndham Hotels), wasn’t what you hoped for. I’ve gotten great reviews for that very mattress. Our kitchenette has a 2 burner cooktop, not a hotplate. I mentioned in our communication before you booked, that I didn’t recommend swimming here and gave you information on nearby public beaches (10 min. drive)All my vacation rentals are waterfront with a view of the Bay. The photo, on our site, of the charter boat with the Chesapeake Bay in the background was taken from the porch of Gull Cottage where you stayed. Gull Cottage and Heron’s Nest (nearly identical) is a perfect fit, however, for travelers with trailered boats or people that want to fish, kayak crab, book a cruise or fishing charter. It’s also an affordable option for a small family on a budget. We have a great following in the boating community and a good number of repeat visitors every year. We do have the vacation rental that would have better met your needs. “Sailors Rest” is about 50 feet from the Waterside Gazebo that you mentioned. Private, shady, 25’ from the water with a private dock and views of the Bay. Full size house with full size kitchen, 4 bedroom 2.5 bath and game room with pool table. 2200 square feet and priced accordingly. All 22 questions that I answered, before booking, addressed the very things that you find unsatisfactory. Again, I’m so sorry that “Gull Cottage” wasn’t what you hoped for. But I think I’ve been completely honest on my site and in all my communications with you.
