New upscale kitchen 2025. Stainless, concrete counters, cork floor, etc., pics soon! This is our Reedville cottage "Bayrise" with private beach on Chesapeake Bay, open concept small contemporary, dog friendly house, maximum 1 dog, 70' from the water, sleeps 4, bed and bath linens Not included. Loft with queen bed and sitting area overlooking the water. The beach can be under water do to storm systems and tides occasionally. The water is always accessible. 1st floor full bath, bedroom with twin bunks, open concept living room and kitchen with WIFI, large flat screen TV for amazon firestick only. 2 kayaks (one a double), 1 canoe, 2 beach chairs, umbrella and outdoor shower. Views from Every window!

Excellent, loved this getaway!

Perfect spot for a quiet Easter weekend with books and the sound of water while sitting in the Adirondack chairs each day. You won’t regret this stay, will definitely come back!

The photos don't do it justice! Everything about our stay exceeded our expectations. Communication was great, the house was lovely, but wow the location, the beach, the sunrise... this is an absolute hidden gem. Highly recommended!

We had a great time, the low tide wasn’t too low to enjoy the private beach but there are a lot of variables that affect that which we are aware of and it was still beautiful and fun, we would definitely return. Thank you Nathan for your beautiful home

Overall, we had a good time at Bay Front especially the front porch and it’s view. The living space is a little smaller than we anticipated but it wasn’t bad for us. We enjoyed the quiet of the area it helped you to really relax. The property is a little off the beaten path so the description may benefit from that just to guide your driving as cell service cuts out. The unit itself is in pretty good shape a few quirks but I think that is most rentals. The owner communicated well including with issues of the Amazon Fire Stick but that helped us prepare and bring our own.
Note: the description did not include there is an owners unit you do not have access too

We allowed a larger party than recommended. The house is described as “Bay Front Small Contemporary”. Over the winter season we are doing several projects, as we do every year. Look for new pics in the next few months to document! Cheers and a Happy Holidays to all!

Great Weekend Getaway

My partner and I had a wonderful stay with our six year old hound. The beach is private and the yard well sized, which is so peaceful to look out from the deck. The windows face the water and is incredibly picturesque while reading on the couch or eating dinner at the table. The only heads up I'd give to future guests is that the railing on the steps down to the beach is loose on the bottom step. It is not accessible for any loved ones with mobility issues.We had an absolute blast and would recommend this property throughout the year!

Great to hear about your visit. And we visit regularly for maintenance. We are directly on the Chesapeake Bay and subjected to the weather! Which can be entertaining! And the railing has already been repaired. Come back soon!

great getaway!

This cozy cottage was great for our family getaway. We loved being right on the water with our own private beach - and especially the enjoyed the kayaks provided by the property owner.

Quiet getaway

This is a really cute quiet property. A little hard to find, GPS sent us into the neighboring community at first.

Super glad you enjoyed! We are putting up a bigger street sign. And suggest future guests look at the “driveway video “ to be familiar with the neighborhood. The driveway is approximately 800’ long. We are in a somewhat secluded area. Thanks again!

Great place!

We loved kayaking and swimming and really enjoyed our quiet relaxing time in a private beach setting. The house was quaint, but perfect for our family of 2 adults and 2 boys.

The house is nice and clean everything works except the Internet is very low The porch is very nice but there is no electrical outlet to charge you're phone

We do have high speed internet. And there are multiple outlets in every room. Some enjoy the sounds from waves sitting on the 16 x 20 porch we built just a few years ago. If necessary you can run a cord from an outlet just inside the door. Cheers!

Glad you enjoyed! The Bay was rough the days you were there. I know because we attempted to sail in a regatta then and seas were 3-4 ft, which is on the rough side. Cheers

Nice spot for a little get away

Great location, beautiful view! We stayed as two couples for a long weekend, plenty of space. House was very clean and planters outside are gorgeous! We enjoyed relaxing on the deck and made use of the paddle board and the private beach. We also followed our GPS into the subdivision nextdoor and a nice neighbor pointed us in the right direction. Don’t turn left at the subdivision sign. Carry on straight down the long dirt driveway. Once you find it, you’ll be very happy you did!
