526 Sunsuite is a studio that sleeps 4 and is located in the middle of the island. A short walk down the boardwalk will lead you straight to the white sandy beach and the Atlantic Ocean!

From the 2nd floor balcony, you are welcomed with tropical breezes. There is a sidewalk that leads you to the Atlantic Ocean.

Our studio apartment has been upgraded with new linens, paint and a larger than most refrigerator.

The kitchen is well appointed for preparing a meal.

Sleeping accommodations include a Queen Murphy Bed which is lowered for sleeping and easily raised to allow for a spacious living room environment. We also have two Spacious built in bunk beds.

This property comes with 2 beach chairs and beach towels along with bath towels, wash clothes and linens for all beds.

We are pet friendly. We are club members so cards may be purchased.

Everything was great! Just as described. It's a compact room, but with everything needed to be comfortable when not at the beach. The walk to the beach was quick and easy, and the beach itself felt remote even with all the buildings nearby. At low tide there was so much beach!! I got the resort passes but none of the facilities were pet friendly and they were quite adament about my wife not even carrying our tiny dog where pets weren't allowed. We made do. The beach itself was very pet friendly! We found a pet friendly restaurant about 10 min drive away that was great for dinners. We made one trip to the grocery store and we were set for the few days we were there for the other meals. The small full size fridge, microwave, coffee maker and stove made the rest of the meals easy. Overall great experience!

Unsatisfactory

We were unable to stay at this property due to the poor conditions that we found when we arrived. There was an unpleasant odor, there were strange packets stuffed along the mattress of the bunk bed (which in my research I have learned that they could be used to deter bed bugs), we found a cockroach and another bug in the bathroom. We are very grateful that we did not bring any of our bags up to the room before inspecting. I immediately contacted the host through messaging on the VRBO account and included photos. She did not respond. I then called and left a message. She did not respond until the next morning. We had to scramble to find a hotel for the night, as we had a 13 hour drive to Fripp Island. In our communication she said that the packets along the mattress were not placed by her. She told me to cancel the reservation on VRBO and then she would push through a refund. At this point all communication from her has stopped, I have not received any updates and no refund has been issued. VRBO customer service has reached out to her several times and to this point they are reporting that she is not responding. I am very disappointed and will not be doing business with Kathy Folds or this property management company again. I will continue to work with VRBO to resolve this matter.

Convenient to everything

We enjoyed our stay. Room was perfect size for us. It was a little dated but thatā€™s ok too. Older places always bring back the nostalgia of beach trips of the past. Kathy with the rental company was always responsive and helped us with any questions we had.

The property manager was very good at her responses to us, especially on the day of arrival when the major sink was cloaked. I do believe more transparency is order for the following reasons:1. Our ocean view was blocked by over sized palm trees.2. To use pools: 59; to go to restaurants 59;3 Service fee another 59. 4. The room advertisement says 4 can stay; but really not more than 2 as the space is very small.I donā€™t believe we will return. Ty.

The description was inaccurate, led me to believe it was a 1 bedroom but it was literally 1 room with pull down Murphy bed. Left batteries in bowl on counter leaking acid, NO cleaning & paper supplies, not many towels. Agent I called to ask for more tp was extremely rude.

Quick golf trip

Decided last minute to take a golf trip. Room was booked quickly and property manager was quick to respond. Space was very clean and had everything we could possibly need. It is small but very quaint and perfect for our stay. We will definitely stay here again.

Enjoyed our Tripp to Tripp

The place was a bit tight for four people, but overall we had a comfortable stay. The bathroom sink does have a slow drain issue. Other than that place was clean and enjoyable. It was centrally located in the island which made it easy access to all areas of the island. Parking is difficult, limited, and very tight. Had to park a distance from the room which at times was inconvenient for loading and unloading. Overall a great expirecne!

The room was exactly as listed. The weather was not great so we did spend a lot of time in the room and it was cozy and had what we needed. I wish it was made more clear that amenity cards had to be purchased additionally to eat at any restaurant in the island. Iā€™m from another state and was unaware of the set up. The host did say what we could use without the cards (which is not much) but left out the part of not being able to eat at a restaurant on the island.

Needs Improvement

The location of this property in itself is a good location, however, the location of this unit leaves a lot to be desired. The unit is directly above the garbage can ā€œhousingā€ which was extremely unpleasant when entering and leaving the unit. In addition, the unit needs repairs, specifically to the plumbing. The shower and sink both ā€œback upā€ to the point our family members showered in the unit we were renting. When owner was made aware of the issue, which itā€™s difficult to believe she wasnā€™t already aware, she did send someone out who didnā€™t do anything to correct the problem, nor was there follow up to ensure it was corrected. When contacted again, someone was sent out morning of departure date - evening before was an option but little too late all the way around. All in all - thereā€™s plenty of better options on this beautiful island.

Wonderful weekend getaway

I have visited the island multiple times and stayed in a couple different places. The sunsuites are a great option. This particular one is on the ocean side, just steps to the beach and pool. Great location, super clean, and had everything needed for a relaxing getaway. The host was wonderful and very responsive. Highly recommend.

Parent and Two Tweens

This unit was just right for our stay. It was cleverly appointed with the murphy bed, and the space was enough room for me and my two tweens. Very easy access to beach. I wouldnā€™t call it an ā€œocean view,ā€ but but more of a ā€œpalm tree view.ā€ There was a parking lot below, as one commenter mentioned, but I couldnā€™t see the cars through the railing, and I enjoyed my morning coffee in the rocking chair outside with the ocean breeze very, very much. My only reservation about booking this unit again is that there isnā€™t a railing on the top bunk, so we didnā€™t end up using it. Additionally, the music from the pool bar went until 11:30, and we prefer to go to sleep earlier than that. But as another commenter titled their review, ā€œAdequate Plusā€ is a great way to describe these accommodations.

Great location! Perfect size for us!

Overall the stay was good! My only concern was the top bunk didn't have a rail so I was waking up to every sound making sure my son wasn't about to fall off the bed lol. Would consider staying again if I could find a solution to this.
