Welcome to Driftwood Retreat, a cozy lakefront cottage on Kentucky Lake at Warners Paradise—perfect for families, couples, and friends who want an easy getaway with water views, s’mores nights, and a relaxing hot tub rain or shine.

Start your mornings with coffee on the deck, spend afternoons on the lake (kayaks included!), and end the day soaking in the screened-porch hot tub with ceiling fans and Bluetooth. When the sun goes down, gather around the firepit (firewood provided) for stories and s’mores.

Driftwood is a favorite in fall/winter/spring because it’s made for staying in:
hot tub nights, firepit evenings, movie marathons, and quiet mornings by the water—without the summer crowds.

Sleeping setup (sleeps up to 8)

Bedroom 1: King bed + Roku TV + dresser + closet

Bedroom 2: Queen-over-Queen bunk bed + Roku TV + dresser + closet

Living room: Futon for extra sleeping space

Kitchen + dining

The kitchen is well-equipped with cookware, bakeware, dishes, and essentials for family meals. Eat inside at the dining table or take dinner outside on the deck or screened porch.

Dock + lake access (please read)

You’ll have shared access to the dock, which is also used by the owners. You’re welcome to enjoy the dock for relaxing, fishing, swimming, and launching the kayaks. If you’re bringing a boat, we’ll coordinate the best spot since the dock is shared.

Optional seasonal add-on: pontoon + jet ski rentals

Seasonal on-site rentals may be available Apr 15–Sept 15 for an additional fee (weather/availability dependent). Rentals are operated separately and require advance notice and a rental agreement/waiver.

Great lake house vacation

We had a very relaxing stay at the lake house. The fishing was great, and we made lots of use of the kayaks and canoe. The house was very clean, and all the furniture was comfortable. We would definitely stay again!

Fantastic Stay

I took my Father and family here for Fathers day weekend and had a blast. The cottage was well stocked and clean. The AC was cold and the beds were comfy. The kids loved the dock and swam all day. Tom (The Owner) was super accommodating and responsive. I highly recommend Warners for a fun family getaway.

Great experience!!

Cabin was perfect and well equipped (the host even left stuff for s’mores and pancakes)! It was great having the privacy of the lake cove. Highly recommend taking advantage of the jet skis and boat, so much fun! The host was wonderful, communicated well and was super helpful! We will be back!!

Beautiful views and very relaxing

My husband and I wanted to enjoy a quick, quiet, and private weekend getaway, the cottage definitely did not disappoint. The property is secluded, the wildlife are abundant, and the bed was super cozy. I would recommend this property to anyone wanting to enjoy a quiet lake trip. The owners left snacks, checkin was easy and outside lights were left on for our after dark arrival!

Great little place

Went for a weekend stay and it's absolutely amazing especially being right by the lake! Even before booking it i had questions and Tom gave me his contact information right away. Perfect communication and the place was super cleaned and perfect for the weekend relaxing trip we needed! They also left everything needed for smores & pancakes. I would definitely stay here again!

Exactly what I wanted

Such a great place to stay. The owner was amazing to work with. Response time was always within minutes. The cottage was spacious and comfortable. We rented a jet ski for a day and had a blast! The cove is quiet, calm, and relaxing. We spent most of our time just floating near the dock. In the evening, we would roast marshmallows by the fire and play games. My kids from 19-11yrs had the best time and are already asking about a return trip.

Very neat, clean and restful

Melody Warner met us at the cottage. She was very friendly and took great pride of the Cottage. There were many amenities including smores, firewood, hot tub, kayaks, fishing gear and much more. We saw deer, eagle, turkey and raccoons. In fact, we left a cut watermelon on the deck. The next morning the melon was gone, and raccoon tracks were all that was left. A great time and very relaxing.

Awesome Getaway Property

The house is well stocked. The whole property is absolutely beautiful! Its secluded, having the dock to yourself was great. The cove is quiet. Getting down to the dock worked out perfect for someone with a handicap. You can drive right up to the walkout for the dock. This was my dads bucket trip and it was exactly what he was looking for. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!!! Highly recommend this place!

Our Little Paradise by the Water

Our best stay yet!!!! My wife and I just spent a few unforgettable days at Warner’s Paradise Campground, and it was everything we hoped for and more. The cabin sat right along the water — peaceful, private, and surrounded by beautiful scenery that made every sunrise and sunset feel magical. Everything we could possibly need was right there— clean and cozy cabins, comfortable beds, a well-stocked kitchen area, and stocked elsewhere too, and all the amenities that make you feel at home while still getting that quiet, getaway feeling. We spent our mornings sipping coffee by the lake, our afternoons exploring and relaxing, and our nights by the fire, listening to the water and just enjoying each other’s company. The staff were wonderful — warm, welcoming, and genuinely happy to make sure our stay was perfect. You can tell they take pride in keeping everything spotless and peaceful. Warner’s truly lives up to its name — it’s paradise. We left feeling relaxed, reconnected, and already counting down the days until we can come back. ❤️

Amazing!

This place has it all! Relax, play, swim,enjoy. The details the owners have thought about - amenities galore. We had the best time on the sea doos (three adult children with us), kayaks, and lilly pad. Plenty of life jackets, too! Even fishing rods available if that’s your thing. Up to date appliances and the house was super clean. Enjoyed the hot tub. A raccoon came for visits at night and we watched the deer while having the morning coffee (provided) on the deck. We will definitely come back!

Another Stellar Stay

This is my second stay at this property in the last nine months. The first was last August and the second last week. The entire experience the first time is what made me a repeat customer. Suffice it to say the second stay exceeded the first. The boat upgrade is a big plus. Easier to accommodate a group. The flexibility and attention to detail of this host is second to none. Check this lake house out.

Peaceful paradise!

Zero issues. Great hospitity Hosts were easily available for any questiion. Property way better than expected. So clean and comfortable. Bed was more comfy than our beloved Sleep Number bed at home. Scenery is great. So many cool birds to see. Lots of peace and fun. Loved the hot tub. Clean and everything worked just right. So glad we came! Perfect blend of isolation in nature and awesome TV, WIFI, and hot tub with built in Bluetooth speakers. Wish we had book for longer. Thank you!

Tremendous Property/Tremendous hosts

Absolutely stellar property. The availability of boat and Sea Doo rental is a huge plus. Kentucky Lake is a beautiful body of water. The hosts are ultra responsive and truly desire a 5 star experience for their guests. I have referred it to friends and co workers and will be going back next year. Highly recommend

Amazing!

The house was perfect for the 8 of us. We loved the deck and screened in patio. The hot tub is really nice, we didn’t use it much, as it was 100 degrees everyday that we were there. The dock was very nice and spacious. The hosts were very responsive for any needs that we have. We won’t stay anywhere else on Kentucky Lake again. We will be back!

Beautiful lake house

Our family enjoyed all the amenities of being on Kentucky lake. We relaxed in the hot tub, fished off the dock, and explored on the kayaks. Everyone was comfortable and we had everything we needed. The hosts were friendly and very responsive even when we wanted to rent jet skis at the last minute. We brought our own pontoon boat and it was so nice to have the covered dock and close by marinas for gas and bait. The hosts were very helpful with info on where we could launch our boat as well.

The owners are wonderful. Respond right away. Newly renovated. Great location. Private. Fire pit, hot tub, view, boat slip, dock, kayaks, and more. If you arrange in advance you can rent their boat or jet skis. We brought ours. Great location on water.

Warners Paradise started with a simple idea: create the kind of place we would want to stay at—somewhere clean, cozy, thoughtfully designed, and close to the water, with all the little details taken care of. Over time that vision has grown into several unique properties, including cabins, larger homes for groups, and now our geodesic domes for couples looking for a one-of-a-kind getaway.

A 6-person hot tub on a screened porch means you can soak comfortably without bugs—and still enjoy it even if the weather isn’t perfect.

Shared dock access + real lake fun
Enjoy shared access to the dock for swimming (ladder), fishing, relaxing, and launching the kayaks. The dock is shared with the owners, and we simply ask guests to be courteous—most families love having easy dock time built in.

Kayaks included (with life jackets)
Two kayaks are included at no extra charge—perfect for kids and adults to explore the shoreline and nearby coves without coordinating a rental.

Bring your boat or level up with on-site rentals
You can bring your own boat and we’ll coordinate the best tie-up/loading setup since the dock is shared. Prefer not to tow? Add on-site pontoon + jet ski rentals seasonally (additional fee; availability/weather dependent). Rentals are operated separately by Warner Boat Rentals LLC.

Sleep setup that works for families (Sleeps up to 8)
A king bedroom for the adults, a queen-over-queen bunk room that kids love, plus a futon for extra sleepers—ideal for families or two small families traveling together.

Comfort + convenience for longer stays
Fully stocked kitchen, dual-use Keurig, washer/dryer, strong Wi-Fi, and plenty of outdoor seating make it easy to settle in for a weekend or a full week.
