Sea Colony - Oceanfront Chesapeake House

Welcome to lovely Bethany Beach, known as “the quiet resort.” Sea Colony is only a 15-minute walk from the Bethany boardwalk and shops. It’s a family-friendly resort, offering multiple pools, 2 fitness centers, several tennis courts, a kiddie camp, and so much more.

Enjoy the fabulous oceanfront view from our condo. The living room has a glass wall facing the ocean with a sliding glass door that opens onto the balcony, overlooking the promenade and beach. Watch the dolphins playing in the water or children flying kites on the beach from the living room, dining room, kitchen and master bedroom, which also has a sliding glass door opening onto the balcony. Have your morning coffee and breakfast on the balcony as you watch the sunrise. This is a glorious getaway vacation spot!

While there is frequently a strong breeze coming off the ocean and pulling through the condo, there are ceiling fans in every room if you want more air circulation. The master bedroom has a king-sized bed and its own full bathroom. A large window and a sliding glass door open onto the balcony on the ocean side from this room.

The second bedroom faces the bay side and has 2 twin beds, a TV, and a large closet. This room will get the glow of the setting sun at the end of the day. The second bathroom has a shower stall and is in the hall just outside this bedroom.

Having company? The brand new sofa pulls out into a queen-sized sleeper.

We have spent this past winter upgrading our beach home. We have replaced all of the carpet throughout the condo with new berber carpet; we've removed wallpaper and put a fresh coat of paint on the ceilings, walls, and doors; we replaced the sleep sofa; we've upgraded the bathroom fixtures and recaulked; and we've topped it all off with a thorough deep clean throughout.

There is a fully equipped kitchen, which makes meal preparation a snap. The kitchen was completely updated just a few years ago, and the dishwasher was replaced just this year. There’s a washer and dryer in the kitchen for your use as well.

While many units only have one assigned parking space, our condo has 2 assigned parking spaces – one under the building and one right out front. Sea Colony security patrols the grounds 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

We also provide 4 beach chairs for your use in a closet right outside the front door of the condo. In addition, you can rent umbrellas and more beach chairs right on the beach. The Sea Colony beach has its own private, clean, guarded beach. From our condo, just walk past the pool on the promenade level and out onto the sand!

NOTE: Sea Colony requires that all guests purchase and wear badges. The badges are $40 per person for everyone 4 years of age and up. The badges get you access to everything on Sea Colony property. When you purchase your badges, you'll also get a parking pass.
