Cozy Cottage on the Rogue River

Cozy Cottage on the lower Rogue River. Everything you need to enjoy a lovely family vacation or romantic get away. Perfect fishing spot for the amazing Rogue River King Salmon, Steelhead, and many other species of fish. You can swim or float the river right in front of your cabin. Perfect for hiking, biking, swimming, and bird watching of the abundant Osprey and Eagle population. Deer wander the property, along with the quail and wild turkey.

Everything you need to either cook at home, cook out, or a short drive to the world renowned TU TU TUN Lodge. A quick trip into Gold Beach provides access to Jet Boat Trips, shelling at the Ocean, and watching beautiful sunsets from the dramatic Oregon Coast. About an hour from the famous Bandon Dunes Golf Course.

A beautiful place to spend time with those you love or just be alone in nature.

There are 2 other cabins on the property. Perfect for large families.

Quiet stay

This place is so peaceful, we were surrounded by wildlife and loved watching the river. We had all we needed for a wonderful stay.

Wife and I loved this place. Great location, peaceful, just what dr ordered. Only drawback, but has nothing to do with cottage. Driving back from town in the dark. Lots of deer on road. Be careful

Great location, beautiful, open view of the river! Well stocked kitchen, plenty of towels, everything we needed. Small cabin, not great tv or phone reception, but has everything you need for a relaxed stay at the Rogue River!!

Fabulous Fall

We loved the cottage. It was very clean and comfortable. The apple tree was full of delicious apples. The deer visited every evening at dusk. We strolled along the riverbank everyday, made fires in the evening and enjoyed the stars.

Making memories.

My husband and I live in Los Angeles and our daughter lives in Portland. We chose this space in between to come together for Thanksgiving. The cabin was exactly what we had hoped! It is located in a very scenic and peaceful spot right on the Rogue River. Is small and cozy, but well appointed. We made good use of all the amenities, including the barbecue, the fire pit, the Adirondack chairs, and the kitchen. I made a standing rib roast for our Thanksgiving meal, and forgot the meat rack. But there was one in the kitchen for me! We loved the daily visits of deer and geese to the property, and there were many wonderful places to hike nearby. The memories we made this Thanksgiving week were wonderful! They will live with us forever!

65th birthday was wonderful!

Loved staying at this cabin. So close to the Rogue River, we swam every day. The cabin was as described, shower could use a bit of attention. Easy check.

Nice to get away!

Enjoyed this space on the river again. Beds were very comfortable, would have liked the furniture in the living room to be a little more so especially with not much shade outside in the afternoon...maybe an umbrella on the patio area would be nice since we bought our lounges with us. Was nice to get away and though we didn't swim we enjoyed walking on the beach and kite flying at the Ophir rest stop...miles and miles of beach and very few people. Also ended up finding a quicker way that cut off mileage and time.

Our 7 children and all of our extended family and friends have been laughing, playing, joking, fishing, swimming and boating here for 20 years, so we love it. We look forward to sharing it with you. Our family loves the lazy lifestyle on the River. It's a beautiful place to relax, read, meditate, and enjoy time with family. We love fishing, hiking, swimming, rafting, kayaking and 'riding the tiny rapid' in front of the cabin. During the later summer months we love to pick berries and enjoy meals of freshly caught salmon and berry cobbler.
