Creek front, brand new, cozy, mountain cabin, located in the Great Smokey Mountains, Franklin, NC. "Water's Edge" borders Wayah Creek. The house is surrounded by majestic mountains, and a wide, rushing creek. The two queens beds accommodate four comfortably; a sleeper sofa is in the den. The creek is stocked with rainbow trout. The inside is a mixture of modern and rustic architecture, in a peaceful, relaxing setting. We have a brand, new treehouse beside Water's Edge if you're interested in booking with Family or friends.

Perfect Mountain Getaway

Ideal for a weekend getaway in the mountains. The home was clean, modern, and comfortable. We especially enjoyed the creek views and hot tub on the porch. There are many hikes with spectacular views close by to choose from.

Amazing property!

My husband and I went for our wedding anniversary and this property was perfect. The sound of the creek while you are soaking in the hot tub is so relaxing. The property is quiet and well maintained. You can tell they put a lot of thought into their guests. We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful Creek Side Cabin

Wonderful creek side cabin. Very clean, beautifully decorated and cozy. The attention to detail was evident throughout the cabin. Not only is the cabin new, but so are the furnishings. We enjoyed roasting marshmallows over the campfire and relaxing in the hot tub. We look forward to returning the next time we visit Franklin.

Great location

The house was lovely and had everything we needed. We loved sitting on the back porch and listening to the creek flowing. The location is great. The house is close to town but far enough away to have a mountain feel. We liked not having to drive on curvy mountain roads to get to the house.

Beautiful getaway!

We had a wonderful stay at the Water's Edge Cabin! Regina and Brian have made the most beautiful cabins to get away and relax. Super clean, the cabin had everything that we needed, and the creek is an added plus. The details that they put into their cabins is the best part. Our family has now stayed in all 3 of the cabins that they offer and none of them have disappointed! So close to town but you feel worlds away. We highly recommend this cabin.

Great Place by the creek

Our family of three and dog really enjoyed our stay here. The house was clean and well appointed and easy to get to. The tree house rental next door is pretty close, but overall pretty private even with someone else staying there. It is close to town and plenty of sight seeing places (water falls, wayah bald, etc). There is a house across the creek as well but no one was there during our stay. This is our 5th year coming to the Franklin area for July 4th and we would come back to stay here!

The best!

Every thing about this cabin & property was definitely a 5 star. The hosts could not have been nicer or more accommodating. The cabin was beautifully furnished & super clean. I must mention the beds. They were so comfortable. My husband & I were there with friends. We are all seniors & enjoyed the porch & rushing creek. We hope to return.

What a great spot for a quiet and relaxing weekend. Thoughts for your new cabin next door would be some type of privacy screening on the side of the deck that overlooks the one we stayed in. Otherwise it was clean, nicely decorated and comfortable.

Serene and relaxing

Beautiful location in the foothills. Easy access and minimal decor (which we love). The home is designed and built by a pro who understands and incorporates design with function. We loved sitting outside the n or outside of the hot tub and relaxing to the sound of the creek flowing over the rocks. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us.

Family Get Away

We were so impressed with this cabin. Newly built and beautifully crafted! The hosts were very responsive and check in and out was super easy. We thoroughly enjoyed both the creek and the hot tub and spent most of our time in one of those or out on the back deck. The inside was immaculate and the kitchen has everything you could think of. Grocery and shopping was just minutes away. It was a beautiful property! I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful, modern getaway in the mountains.

Florida finds Franklin!

Beautiful new cabin in quiet location 10 minutes to Franklin, NC. Our hosts were the best ever! This place has everything you need to relax and enjoy the serenity of the flowing creeks while soaking in the hot tub. Been traveling to this area for many years. This is the Only time a cabin has been this clean (spotless) and the kitchen was Fun to cook in! Hopefully we can return to this sweet retreat for many years to come! Thanks again Bryan and Regina!

Amazing Vacation

My husband and I absolutely loved the home that Brian & Regina host in Franklin, NC. It had everything we needed to accommodate our stay. The mountain drive and peacefulness was absolutely incredible. When my husband and I had questions about the surrounding area for fishing and general things to do they were more than happy to socialize and give us details. Fishing was great in the creek on the property as well as privacy. We loved having a fire each night and listening to the running creek right behind the house before taking a dip in the hot tub. Definitely a great vacation for our 4 year anniversary! We will be back!

Franklin Get A Way

Wow very nice property brand new. The owners built a wonderful home on a large creek running through the backyard. Even the cookware was good stuff. Nice jacuzzi on the large back patio with ambient lighting. Large property with open space. We enjoyed a nice campfire with the wood that you can purchase on site. They are currently building a treehouse rental that looks to be the same quality. I recommend this location to anyone. Thanks the Fletchers.

Relaxing getaway

If your looking for a relaxing getaway look no further. This rental has everything you could possibly want and more. I have been coming down to North Carolina for many years with my family and by far this is the cleanest home we have ever stayed in. My kids enjoyed fishing in the creek which is right off the huge deck where you can sit and enjoy the sounds of the water and forget about everything. The hot tub is relaxing and the fire pit is perfect for hanging out with the family. The owners are very friendly and helpful. You honesty will not find a better rental then this. Thanks so much for sharing your little piece of heaven with my family

Our Happy Place

October 2023 We felt right at home the second we walked in the door. This little hidden Gem is very clean, cozy, and fun. I loved the Fall decorations. This was our first stay in a VRBO and I really feel like we found our get away spot. We had the pleasure of meeting Brian & Regina and they were very accommodating and informative about the surrounding areas. I totally brought more than what we needed and the owners have thought of everything…next time I’ll pack lightly. We really enjoyed listening to the Creek, s’mores over the fire circle, relaxing in the Hot tub and then playing some dice near the fireplace inside. We ventured out and everything is close by. We can’t wait to come back! Thank you for everything. God Bless and see you hopefully next year. Cape Coral, Florida
