The Space:
This home is set up perfectly for extended families, 2-3 families or multiple couples to vacation together. ALL bedrooms are en-suite and have their own bathroom. There is a primary king primary bedroom suits on levels one along with a queen bedroom with a pocket door to a full bathroom. Level two has two king suites - both with king beds. Bedroom 3 on the upper level is an en-suite with a king bed and a bathroom with a tub/shower. This suite has an office with a day bed with a trundle and a great mountain view. Bedroom 4 on the upper level has a king bed with double sinks and a walk in shower. Bedroom 5 and 6 en-suites on the lower level both have king beds with a tub/shower combo. The home can accommodate 14 comfortably in beds. All the bedrooms as well as the great room have Smart TV's to connect to your favorite streaming apps. We have HI SPEED WIFI internet that is able to handle any needs including streaming movies, downloading, zooming, etc. The game room has foosball and air hockey as well as a TV. There is a movie room on the lower level. Bring your Tesla or EV with Tesla adapter. We have a Tesla charger for your use.

The property is very quiet, peaceful and private and sits on 3 acres with breathtaking views all around. The large front deck and covered patio have rocking chairs to relax and enjoy the views. The large back deck is perfect for entertaining with a charcoal BBQ, large table with seating for 8 and cozy outdoor furniture in the covered section. The amazing outdoor spaces are the place for relaxing and watching the sunrise and sunset. Enjoy the mountain views and listen to the sounds of the forest below. For nature lovers, there is hiking, waterfalls and abundant wildlife in the Preserve. Our community has miles of hiking trails along the pristine streams and rivers with waterfalls that adjoins the Pisgah National Forest. Enjoy a really unique getaway. You will feel away from it all yet you will be only 15 minutes (8 miles) to Black Mountain and 30 minutes (23 miles) to Asheville, NC.

The home and kitchen are very well stocked with all your basic supplies needed for your vacation week. There is a microwave, toaster and air fryer, regular drip coffee maker, Keurig, hot water kettle, crock pot. The beds are all made up prior to your arrival and we provide towels and linens.

We take cleaning our house very seriously. We have instructed our crew on the latest recommendations such as using the highest heat setting for washing linens and towels, airing out the cabin during cleanings, disinfecting all surfaces including counters, door knobs, light switches, remotes, railings, etc.

We keep our availability calendar up to date. Please check our calendar before inquiring about availability. We usually respond to all email inquiries right away or within a few hours. We have a 3 night minimum requirement in the off season (Sept, Nov-May excluding holidays and spring break) and a 4-7 night minimum in season (Memorial Day through Labor Day and October) and all holidays and spring break. Please do not inquire for less than 3 nights.

Pet Policy: We allow up to 2 well behaved and housebroken dogs with prior approval and paid pet rent fee of $150. Please let us know the breed, weight and age of your dog(s) for approval. All dogs must be up to date on vaccinations and flea and tick medications prior to arrival. Sorry, no cats or any other animals allowed.

Guest Access:
Check-in instructions will be sent approximately 2-3 weeks before check-in. There is a code to both the community gate and the front door of the home.

The Neighborhood:
Bordering a vast forest preserve, Catawba Falls Preserve gated acreage homesites has stunning views of the Pisgah National Forest. You'll feel a thousand miles away in your mountainside dream vacation home, yet you'll be 15-30 minutes from the culture and conveniences of Asheville and Black Mountain. There are numerous hiking trails, streams and rivers, and waterfalls nearby. Wildlife is abundant in the Preserve. The most common animals that you may encounter are deer, wild turkey, rabbits, birds, fox, and black bears. Wake up to a symphony of birds, turkeys and woodpeckers. The sunrises, sunsets and mountain views from the large decks will amaze you! There are many hiking trails close to the property. Hike into the Pisgah National Forest and view majestic waterfalls!
