Welcome to Sandy Dreams at Purple Parrot Village Resort!

This beautifully decorated cottage is your private oasis of relaxation offering 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths. Sleeps 8 comfortably with a king bed and private en-suite bath, and queen beds in the second and third bedrooms. There is also an extremely comfortable pullout sofa in the living room. With a well equipped kitchen at your fingertips, you should want for nothing. Kick your feet up and enjoy the view on the cozy screened in porch. Sandy Dreams is in close proximity to the resorts amenities and you can pull up to the door to unload you luggage.

The Purple Parrot offers fine resort accommodations with an enormous outdoor private pool, featuring a waterfall and hot tub just steps from your door. You will also have full access to a fitness room, sauna, and heated indoor pool and indoor hot tub. Let’s not forget the Tiki Bar with local live music. Grab a bite at the grill, dance to the band, or join in a game of beach volleyball. The resort is a short 10 minute walk (3 minute drive) to the beautiful white sandy public beaches of Florida and the beautiful Gulf Islands National Sea Shore.

Perdido Key is home to 3 gorgeous golf courses, including an Arnold Palmer designed championship course. Excursions include deep sea fishing as well as many fresh water hot spots. The Key offers abundant entertainment and dining experiences for all.

Great getaway!

This was a great stay for a long weekend. The resort had a wonderful pool and bar and even an indoor pool! The inside of the place was new and clean. Super easy to get around to all kinds of restaurants. Would definitely say there again!

Anniversary trip!

This property was beautiful and very clean! They thought of everything we could possibly need to have a wonderful and relaxing trip. The beds were very comfortable and the fans on the nightstands were an extra special touch! We would definitely book this again!

Amazing Property

The house was exactly as described! The house was stunning and right near the pool. The rooms were spacious and comfortable and the Purple Parrot community was amazing. We were less then a mile from the beach and the pool area was great! We will definitely stay here again!

Great unit and hosts!

Unit was beautiful and comfortable. Close to pool and clean. Includes beach chairs, toys and towels. Check in process was fast and easy. Hosts even offered to mail forgotten items after stay. Loved this unit. Quiet, clean and relaxing.

Nice stay

Parking was sometimes hard to find. Needed more kitchen accessories like a pitcher, cooking pans, laundry basket. Pool was nice, friendly people. Overall very nice would stay again.

Hi Ryan, thank you so much for the suggestions! We added a laundry basket and pitcher to the kitchen today. There is a full set of cookware in the cabinet by the dishwasher and baking pans under the stove. If there were specific items you needed in regard to cookware would you mind shooting me a message with details? I would be grateful and purchase them for the unit asap.

Family wedding

We came to visit for a family wedding. Everything was just like the pictures. It was rainy trip but we enjoyed listening to the music at the Purple Parrot. We are planning another family vacation soon!

We’ve stayed at purple parrott 5 times and this home was the best !! All the “extras” were appreciated !! Great Wi-Fi , clean and so comfortable !! I would book this one again ! Super convenient to the pool and easy parking !!

This has been our favorite house at Purple Parrot! We will definitely book this house again! It was clean, had more than everything we needed & it was comfortable for our 7 day stay! The beds were comfortable & the linens were nice! The tvs were a good size in all of the rooms! Nice spacious refrigerator! Soft bath towels! The couch was comfortable & for our family that was really important! This house is well maintained! Nice & comfortable screened in porch! I forgot my hair dryer but that was ok because there were 2 there to choose from! We always love spending time at the pool & this house was in the perfect location not too close but only a short walk! We really could not have asked for more! We loved our stay & will book here every time!

Great family Vacation

Wonderful stay all around, we will be back! Only Complaint we had during our stay is, the upstairs gets pretty warm at night. During the day the whole house would be perfect, but at night just the downstairs would get cool. Each bedroom does have fans, so we managed with those and kicked off the covers.

A Little of Paradise

Our stay was great, the house was beautiful, well equipped, clean, and plenty of room. The only downside was the heater on the indoor pool was broken, and took 3 weeks to repair. That was one of the reason we rented there. We did get to swim one week out of four. Hopefully we will get a credit from the owners. Everything else was amazing and Johnson Beach was great!

Cute beach cottage with just a quick jaunt to the beach

I really can’t say anything bad about our stay, because it was downright awesome! From the communication, the cleanliness, the comfort of home, cute community, and still close to the beach, it was a fun and excellent stay! We’ve been to the gulf several times and always stay somewhere different, but always right on the beach. We were a little skeptical being just down the road from the beach, but it was a quick little jaunt and frankly if we were staying right on the beach, it took us less time, staying at Purple Parrot! You won’t find better owners than Shane and Rena! We absolutely fell in love with your place, thank you for the family memories!

Raised the bar for stays

I have stayed in multiple vacation homes the last few years in pensacola and when i tell you this tops them all i mean it. There is nothing you need that they dont have, from towels to toiletries, cleaning supplies, plates etc... and even toys for the pool and beach. Very easy to check into and super clean it was a hot day when i checked in and it was super cool inside. All rooms have working TVs with apps and cable TV. Definetly 10/10 hands down. Shane is very easy to communicate with. Look no further this is it!!

Purple parrot

We overall enjoyed our stay at Purple Parrot. The house was nice. I would recommend more cooking pans as it was hard to cook for my family, preferably a full set of pots and pans with lids should suffice. An outside grill would have been nice as well, we had to resort to other options. Parking was rough as there is not assigned parking per unit and it stays filled up so you may have to park a ways from your house or park outside the gate. The resort pool and tiki bar are open to outside people as well that’s not staying there so it can get crowded at times. Location is 3/4 mile from Johnson’s beach so you can drive or walk so that was nice. Lots of places to eat and short drive to Orange beach or Pensacola and the Blue Angels/base. Overall we really enjoyed our stay.

Hi Kimberly, thank you so much for the feedback. We are glad you enjoyed your stay. There is already a full cook set there which I verified today. Maybe you overlooked it, if you did find it but found it insufficient would you mind messaging me the specific of what you needed so I can get it. We take guests suggestions seriously. There are also grills provided in the pool area but not at the individual units.
