Luxurious DuPont home close to Georgetown and Downtown!

We are new to VRBO but a 5* host on other platforms. The Window House truly brings that ageless elegance of DC brownstones with contemporary finishes to fit large groups. Main level of the home comes with an open concept with the kitchen overlooking the living room which has a fireplace you can cozy up around while watching your favorite movie.

The Kitchen offers custom gold finishes, huge counter space that seats 4 and custom wine bar. Walk into the Dining room that shows off the original 9 foot pocket doors and fireplace.

Bedrooms are all unique and large with tons of closet space.
We can comfortably sleep 12 guests and pack n play for infants using the following sleeping arrangements:
~ King sized bed in the primary bedroom.
~ 4 Queen sized bed in the second and third bedroom.
~ Queen sized sofa bed in the living space.

Bathrooms offer a tub, shower and private toilet rooms.

Rooftop terrace has a green leaf wall concept that give tons of privacy from the neighbors that'll let you enjoy it day or night. It provides a large 6 seater dining table and a separate seated sofa area.

1 Parking is included for a 3 night minimum stay

Loved this property! Great location, great layout. We were a group of 8 (5 adults, 3 children) and had plenty of space. Vik and Lizzie were very helpful hosts and communication was fast and easy.

I stayed here with my grandsons for a trip to DC. Very comfortable, very nice property. 10 minute walk to the Metro. I would stay here again.

Awesome Property! Wonderful Location!

We had 2 families of 4 stay here. The property was extremely clean, beds were super comfy. Communication was great! Close to many shops and restaurants and a grocery store. Easy to get to the main attractions of DC. Rooftop area was fabulous to hang out on. Would absolutely stay again!

Great townhouse on a nice street in the heart of Dupont - walkable to monuments, mall and downtown. Great restaurants nearby. The host was very attentive and easy to work with. Five stars!

great town house in great location

Beautiful townhouse in fantastic location near dupont circle . We were 7 retired friends and there was more than enough space for all ....bedrooms , lounging and kitchen . Beautifully decorated , beautifully appointed bathrooms , large bedrooms , on a great street with lots of restaurants , foodstore and liquor store . 20 to 30 minute very nice walk to the white house .

House in Dupont Circle

The house was wonderful for the 4 of us. The kitchen was well appointed and the house was very comfortable. My only suggestion is that it not be described as 4 bedroom. The 4th bedroom is a futon located in the dining room and the doors to that room cannot be closed (as specified by notes on the doors).

Great location!

Was having a mini reunion with 2 old friends in DC. Wanted to stay in the Dupont Circle area to be close to things and have access to the Metro. It's a large condo with 3 bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths and was perfect for the 3 of us (definitely set up for more guests) to have a room to ourselves. Was very clean and ready for guests. Best part was the location in a quiet neighborhood but only 1 street away from restaurants, etc. Would stay there again!

Beautiful Historic Home in a Great Area!

We loved this home and would definitely rent it again the next time we are in D.C. It was clean and easy to access, the owner was prompt in replying to any concerns, and there was coffee, even a bottle of wine, and chocolates. My teenage boys loved having a queen bed to themselves, and my mom appreciated having her own space. The shower in the master bath was the best! If you bring a car, realize that the property states "parking available" and "1 parking spot is included for a 3-night minimum stay." We took this to mean that the home had an actual parking spot. It does not. You must find a parking garage and either Uber or take a long walk to the house. We were lucky enough to have family that lives a few blocks away and were able to get a street pass for the weekend. Otherwise, it was an amazing place!

WARNING-DO NOT RENT. Please read in full before considering this property. We rented this property mid July for a 4 day stay. It rained on the second day of our stay and the ceilings in 2 bedrooms and the hallway began to leak dramatically. We informed the hosts immediately and their response was to use Costco buckets retrieved from the upstairs terrace to contain the leaks. The upstairs terrace was unavailable for use and had a tarp covering it so we assume they were already aware of the leaky problems. On our arrival day, workers were leaving and had been working in the bedroom where these leaks took place. Again, the hosts were aware of these issues. We discussed these problems with the hosts and came to an agreement of a refund. Since we left, NO refund has ever been issued and we are now working with VRBO to take legal action against the hosts. Yes, it is a lovely but old property with issues that were never informed to us. 1-opened windows that wouldn't close2-toilet in the half bath wouldn't flush consistently3-upstairs bathroom sink barely had water coming out4-master shower had a sign that stated some knobs were not usable5-the most upsetting, leaking ceilingsWe highly warn of renting from these hosts. They are not honest. Find another property!

Comfy, spacious, cozy home near Dupont!

This was a great stay because of how spacious and close, walking distance, to popular neighborhoods (Dupont and Adams Morgan) the apartment was! We were also able to make meals since the kitchen was fully equipped and clean. The third floor suite was perfect for sharing between two adults, and although the bedroom set up on the second floor could accommodate four people, it was hard to share the one bathroom on the second floor for four guests. Thankfully there was a half bath on the first floor we all could share. The only major downside to the stay was that the online description states there is a parking spot when in fact there is not a dedicated parking spot for the unit and street parking close to the unit was extremely difficult to come by. The hosts did recommend some nearby places to park but it was a bit of a headache figuring that out when we expected there to be a parking spot. Also, I must mention the presence of roaches on the second floor. In total we spotted 3 roaches in the second floor bedrooms and hallways. The host was communicative and even called someone to spray the house, but I feel I should mention the pests' presence. Overall this was a very nice place to stay!! I would stay again.

8/10 Good but could be great

My husband and I stayed at this rental with our 4 adult children February 5-9th. The home is lovely, and we really enjoyed our stay. The house is very clean and well-stocked with all the necessities. The location is great. There is a grocery and a liquor store a very short walk from the house. We were able to walk to a lot of the sites including the zoo and the White House, which are a little over a mile away. This house really should be listed as a 3 bedroom. The 4th bedroom is the dining room with a small pull-out couch, but it is un-usable since the space is too small to expand the bed. Just a heads up if anyone in your party has difficulty going up and down stairs. The stairs to the 2nd and 3rd floor bedrooms are quite steep. I deducted points for the following: The listing incorrectly states ‘1 Parking is included for a 3-night minimum stay’, which was a major reason we chose this rental. There is only 2-hour street parking in the area and that was very difficult to find an open spot. We ended up having to pay almost 50/night to park. There were several items in the house that needed maintenance. The coat rack was broken; the hinge on the door to the 3rd floor bathroom was missing so the door couldn’t be closed; the water dispenser/ice maker in the refrigerator did not work. None of these things ruined our stay but were enough to lower my rating.

We had a great week at this beautiful and comfortable home! The beds were incredibly cozy; I wish I had checked the brand! The location couldn't have been better, set on a lovely street with convenient access to the metro, a grocery store, coffee shops, and restaurants. The only minor issue we encountered was with parking. there is no parking space available on the property, we had to use a parking garage a few blocks away. Fortunately, parking fees were reimbursed. Lizzie and Vik were incredibly helpful and frequently reached out to see if we needed anything. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend this place!

This is new to Vrbo but a Superhost on other Short term rentals. When I first walked into this property I fell in love with its unique details that I was able to bring back to life. A sense of nostalgia with the original fire place, high ceilings, moldings and painted glass window. Now it comes with fresh new amenities but still makes you feel cozy and luxurious in the middle of the DC.

This place truly brings that ageless elegance of DC with contemporary finishes to fit large groups with both large indoor and outdoor spaces.
