A nice place for an early spring break. Good accommodations for cold weather. Kitchen had enough pots, pans, and appliances to cook meals. The hot tub and kayaks were a hit with the kids.

Great for our family. Clean and as described. Lots of thoughtful little extras that aren’t standard everywhere and were much appreciated- kitchen well appointed, plenty of towels, hot tub towels, sound machines, and firewood to name a few. Such a great view and kids enjoyed fishing right off the dock. Would definitely stay again.

Loved the property. The house was perfect for our needs (4 adults, 4 kids) and there was easy access to the dock and cove. Several kayaks available for our use.

Magical location

Amazing vacation. The views are 10/10. House is beautiful & the host was VERY easy to work with. We will be renting this house at least twice a year!

We had such a wonderful stay at this lake house! It was the perfect size for our family of five, with plenty of space and bathrooms to make everything comfortable and convenient. The home itself was cozy, clean, and well-kept, with nearly everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. (The only tiny hiccup was that there were just three coffee filters—and we’re a two-pots-a-day family! )The views of the lake were absolutely stunning, and the hot tub was such a treat—perfect for relaxing and taking it all in. We truly enjoyed our time here and would definitely love to come back!
Just an fyi, the coffee maker takes the #4 coffee filters.

Business and personal getaway

We had an amazing stay, even with the bad weather and loss of power, we couldn’t have asked for a better place or host. Brad checked in on us constantly during the weather incident and continued to go above and beyond while we were without power. We will be back, beautiful views and an extremely warm and welcoming home.

No place better

I can’t describe how wonderful and peaceful this home is. We watched 2 bald eagles eat. We caught catfish. It is just the most beautiful spot I have ever seen. The home is so awesome!

Fantastic house with a fantastic location

Brad was great with communication leading up to the dates we'd be staying and throughout the stay as well if we had questions. The house was in great condition and very clean. It's a gorgeous property set on the lake with amazing views and a great deck as well covered boat slip you can relax on. Amenities in the house were all accurate as listed, WiFi worked great and sleeping arrangements were very comfortable. My friends and I had a great time and would highly recommend this property!

I have mixed feelings about this review. We loved ALOT about the house but also think that the photos oversold for the price we paid. There were a some handyman items and some construction debris around the house. I know that it is a lake house and bugs are to be expected but the amount of spiderwebs that had not been tended to in some time was disappointing (IE we could not use the upper deck at all). On the other hand, we loved being on the water and in the kayaks each day and my son caught a lot of fish. The living area was nice and we could watch movies as a family. The dining table was good to eat and play games. The kitchen was functional and we had what we needed to cook several times. Grill worked but was really dirty and we had to really clean it. Overall we had a good time, just for the price we felt a tiny bit let down. Brad was GREAT though and a very good host. C/I and C/O instructions were clear and he was accomadating on a late check-out which was nice. Last thing, you need a car that rides a bit higher because there is a large dip as you enter the driveway on one side and my Traverse scraped. We made due but going in and out the other side and doing a lot of U-Turns! :) We also loved Chatanooga and adventured a lot!

Loved it so much!!!!

We didn’t want to leave! The setting for this sweet lake house is absolutely breathtaking and so peaceful. The beds were so comfortable, the game room area and outside space absolutely perfect for us! We saw eagles and osprey and lots of ducks and geese. The dogs were worn out from all the new sights and sounds! We all loved our stay so much!

What a great little spot!

We really enjoyed our time at the cove! Fishing off the dock, watching spring rains move over the mountains, relaxing on the couch or in the hot tub. The bird watching was an especially great treat! Bald eagles, blue heron, cormorant, geese, osprey, mutiples types of woodpecker, song birds, and blue birds....we saw them all regularly! The muskrat and turtles made several appearances too. The kitchen was well stocked with essentials, all appliances worked well, water pressure and hot water were excellent! On the drive home we were already discussing "next time we come".

Choose Canyon Cove if You Can

Everything about our stay at Canyon Cove exceeded our expectations. Brad is an amazing host with a beautiful property that was perfect for our family. We had 5 adults and 2 teens in our group with a perfect amount of space to be comfortable and relax. The lake views are stunning and the pictures of the property don’t do it justice. It would be a mistake to skip out on the opportunity to stay here if you have the chance. Thank you Brad for an amazing weekend for our family! We couldn’t have asked for a better time!
